New Moon Blessings everyone! Here is one of my favorite spreads, that I try to do for every new moon. I found this spread back on AT, first posted by user Milamber. The card layout suggests the phases of the moon: 1 4 2 7 5 3 6 1: Releasing. Things you should be letting go of in your life. 2: Retaining. Things you should be holding close to you. 3: Receiving. Things that are coming into your life. 4: Surroundings. How the world around you is affecting you. 5: Giving. What you should be giving to others. 6: Beginning. Something new that will begin soon. 7: Your lesson. What you should be learning at this point. And quot…

AUTHORS NOTE Now today I've decided to share this spread on a Moon phase that the Southern Hemisphere will experience on the 25th of January. This reading that is providing below to show how this spread works is personal. On the 24th of January around 2:15pm I just gotten off from work and decided to meet up with my sisters at the local OP shop. I was on the walk path I looked both ways twice to ensure that there wasn't any cars coming as this time of year it's particularly busy where I live. I looked both ways so there was no cars coming then I gotten off the walk path and started crossing. Then when I lease expected it a white car come around the corner and speedi…

(From AT) So I thought I'd share a couple of spreads I created! Please do not reproduce it or use it for profit anywhere else, it's here for your own personal enjoyment. :) I'd love to see others try it. This is a good spread for assessing a relationship, romantic or not. It's very simple, and forms a basic heart-shape! 1---------2 -----3----- -----4----- (3 is crossed by 4) 1. You: What qualities do you bring into the relationship? 2. Them: What qualities do they bring into the relationship? 3. Progress: How to progress with this relationship. 4. Obstacle: What is blocking the relationship from progressing?

Hi everyone! I’m fairly new to tarot reading. So I received this 3 card reading as I asked “How does this person feel currently about a recent separation in a love connection”. I was rather shocked at how direct the message of the first card which came flying out from the Angel Tarot deck by Doreen Virtue and Radleigh Valentine. I then used my Rider-Waite tarot deck, and The Lovers and The Magician flew out together and at the same time. I would be forever grateful to hear your perspectives on the Lovers and the Magician?? Thanks!

Hello, everyone I spent more money than I meant to yesterday, which inspired me to create this spread. You can use it whenever you're tempted to spend more than you should. 1---2---3---4---5---6 1. Can I afford this? 2. Is this worth the price? 3. Will I get true enjoyment from this? 4. Will I grow bored with this soon? 5. Am I only buying this to try to fill a void within myself? 6. Will I regret making this purchase?

So this has become a spread that I've been using more and more lately. It was made popular by Oswald Wirth, though it most likely predated him, and is a staple in many French cartomancy/tarot books. It's laid down like this: Though the meanings given to each position varies, I tend to use it like so: • Card 1 as what's for the situation • Card 2 as what's against the situation • Card 3 as the advice regarding the situation • Card 4 as the outcome if you take the advice • Card 5 as the synthesis/final say I've seen some people use Card 1 as the querent, or they'll read cards 1, 5 & 2 as the present si…

Anyone ever use the cards to predict the weather? I'm beginning to think they could be more accurate than the weather folks on tv. Imagine getting the Fool and The Tower for "What will the weather like tomorrow?"

Hi everyone I wanted to share with you a terror spread that I just did, It is called the 2 options 7 card spread Which I found in the book A Little Bit of Tarot: An introduction to reading tarot, by Cassandra Eason. With this spread you are supposed to select 2 options or choice you are facing, but I guess you can always customize it if you have more than 2 options. I did this and it really was eye opening for me so I thought I would share. I wish I could post personal pictures.

I described this spread on the old AT forum, but since I think we have new people here who might not have seen it, I'll share it again. I begin by laying out seven cards. They can be two cards for past, three for the present, two for the future. Or any variation thereof, using three cards in whatever position you want the most information. You read those seven cards, but then if there's a card in any position that you'd like more information on, you draw another card (or more) and branch off that card in another direction. You can keep drawing cards along that same line but only till there are 7 cards in that direction----meaning six more cards after the one in question…

Autumn Season Spread (5) by Azarial Source: http://www.tarotforum.net/showthread.php?t=106507 As the days grow shorter, and colder it's a sign from mother earth that we need to do a bit of yardwork before our yards and gardens become victims to winter's cold wrath. As we work on our yards and gardens, it's also a reminder that we need to work on our lives as well. *****1*3***** *****4*2***** ******5****** 1. Composting can be a very valueable asset to a gardener. All of the things that we do not use, can be put together and with time they become a fertilizer to help other things grow. Many of you know that I like to create intricate spreads with lots of detail that ideally still hang together in a logical way. Here is a problem-solving spread (at its heart a two-option scenario) that uses elemental temperaments in a novel way to point out the most advantageous solution. It consists of two three-card chains, a "quint" card for each chain, and four "background" cards that influence and modify the quint cards through Elemental Dignity. https://parsifalswheeldivination.com/2019/06/26/the-hot-and-cold-running-commentary-problem-solving-spread/

This is a spread I use quite often both for myself and others. It can be used for various specific questions or just a general sense which is probably why I have never come up with a name. It is a larger spread at eight cards which is odd because I am three person (3 cards or sets of 3). I hope this spread works for people here as well as it has worked for me over the years. Past (upper left): Represents the past Present (upper right): Represents the present Middle Row: Three advice cards Outcome (bottom middle): Where you will be after heeding (or not) the advice cards. What are you trying to achieve (Bottom row to the right …

I actually have three questions about spreads I would like to pose for the forum over the next three days, so stay tuned. There are those in life who walk among us, I or you may meet who "think they know it all" or are visibly unconscious souls. Obviously thinking their way is the only way, never open to learning something new, when they encounter something they don't know, instead of taking the time to ask a question, do some research, they make up their own mind to stay ignorant. Or here's the great one, they assume something about you, it's all wrong, you correct them, and they get angry with you. I love that one. Their mind is closed and not ever open to t…
