Hi, just wondering where I'm going wrong. I tried to share a post of mine in 'forums' with a friend but they are not allowed to access it. They are new, so haven't posted yet. Is this something to do with their status (aka new, so they to post first) or is this something that I'm doing wrong my end? Thanks 🙂

I've probably messed it all up now but I realized that I needed to actually subscribe once i redeemed the gift card (discovered by realizing I couldn't see the subscriber section on the Forum page). So, genius that I am, I went to try to purchase the subscription using the gift card but I'm not getting the right prompts for it. I'm receiving the normal purchase page. Or did I already manage to subscribe and something else is going on with the subscribers section?

something else I've probably missed how to do. on my quilting forum there is a little (arrow?) icon on a thread I've made a post to. can I make that happen here? I really limit my time online, and there is an area I'd like to keep better track of (new members) and scrolling through to see if I've said hey! takes time. and it is all about Sharyn...I know I know. I want to lock a thread at the top of a certain sub-forum. Would that require some assistance from a moderator? Well, I'd like to sticky this index thread in particular to the top of the Barbara Walker Study Group subforum, since it contains links to all the threads in that sub. It's very convenient since anyone would be able to immediately access any particular card they desire through it. Thanks!

I can't remember how to edit my signature! Can anyone direct me? I go to Edit Profile and don't see it. I've checked other places and just can't find it.

You know how if you are writing a new post and you need to stop, when you return and click in the now-empty comment box, your previous draft appears? Well today mine did not. What did I do to no longer access this helpful feature and how can I undo it? Going forward I will go backward to when I used to save drafts in a Word document. I stopped because it was no longer necessary but now it is again.

I wonder where I can read some guidelines on the BBCode used in the Forums. I'm just mighty curious since I'd love to know how to better format my posts. Thanks!

Hello, My main account is LadyH, and I'm having trouble signing in. It's been about 15 minutes or more, and I haven't received an email to reset my password. If anyone is able to help me out, big thanks! If my account got deleted for an unknown reason, then consider this my only account. Hi I recall there used to be a yes/no readings thread under fun and games section, but I cant find it now. Has it been moved elsewhere or maybe I'm missing something. Please advise.

I tried to put in my correct birthday. I had to scroll all the way from 2021 to 1986 and then the age came out as if it were jan.12 2021. I can not get to 1986. I pushed next anyhow because there was nothing I could do and now it says I can not join.

I signed up hours ago and it said it sent me mail to confirm my account but it didn't. I logged in from another device and asked it to resend. It did not, but it did send me a notice that I had signed in from a different device. This suggests that the email confirmation mailer is broken. Help?

Hiya, Oftentimes when reading a thread, I have wished there was a link or icon at the bottom of the page that I could click to be quickly brought all the way back up to the top. It would be so much easier, especially with super long threads, than having to keep scrolling to get back there to the top of the page. Most other forums I frequent have this feature - would it be possible here? It could be to the right of the "Mark site read" button.

I know a lot of people use postimage as an image host for forums and their pictures because it's a good alternative after photobucket's changes and some of the other hosts closed down. Recently in the last few weeks, postimage has developed a problem. About 2 weeks ago, someone who owns the registry details of postimage, locked the url away from them and they have lost their url. In an emergency, all their files and urls will work if you change the url postimg.org to postimg.cc (exactly the same url of the image or weblink after that) and the main site postimage.org goes to postimages now. Every time I come to the forum today, I am being presented with a page asking me to un-block my ad-blocker. Like lots of folks, I'm not very techy, but use things like ad-blocker to try and stay safer online. The page gives me options either to unblock, or to pres the button which states something like "I don't care to support small businesses" I find that deeply offensive here. I am a lifetime subscriber to this forum - I have paid my dues to come here. And I am being made to feel awful, just because I'm trying to stay safe. Please re-word that page, it has nothing to do with caring or support that I keep ad-block…
