I feel a little trepidation about posting here, as I barely speak Lenormand. There is a deck, however, that I have lusted after for five years, and finally broke down and got. It's Berenika's Lilac & Cherry Twilight, aka the Lenormand Vintage Oracle. It is not actually a deck, but a set of two Lenormand decks, one of which is considered the darker twin of the other. Has anyone here any experience working with these decks?

When doing a three card spread for a daily reading, how does one know if the reading is for the sitter or from the sitter? For example, is the reading something the sitter is going to receive or give/do to someone or something else. Am I making sense? 😃

Hello All, So working with Tarot and Magick or the Arte is well known to most of us. I am now wondering how Lenormand could also be used in working? Have you done this and if so do you have a method you would suggest? My go to would be with the correct candle, herbs and stone but ??? As I have not tried this but I am pondering it, I would love your input. Moderators please feel free to move this if I am posting to the incorrect forum.

Hello All! So as I continue my more folklore/traditional type of Lenormand reading studies I am looking at “additional” reading techniques. Let us say Mirroring and Knighting though we can easily add Counting to this as well. Besides giving you additional information do they give you a type or specific kind of information? What drives this question is I am remembering reading, can’t say where I read this, the Knighting shows you information that is right around the corner, not in plain sight. Hi all, I'm hoping for some clarification on hypotheticals. Does Lenormand play well with these types of questions or is that best left to something like Tarot or a different oracle system? For example, the type of question that often comes up when I read for others is "How would X feel if..." "How would X feel if I made this statement" "How would X feel if we met in person" ...etc Is there a better way to phrase questions like this or just better to avoid them all together?

Hi everyone, I’m curious how you guys read cards when you’re asking them what course of action to take. I find that oftentimes they only describe my current issue, and I get confused where to look for the advice itself. A recent example: Whip + Lilies + Fish + Bear + Bouquet. My mother has found herself in a difficult situation because she has to take care of her sick parents, while her sister refuses to help. While I don't have a HUGE collection of Lenormands, and that's what I read most with, Lenormands, I love the ones I have. ALL of them for different reasons. I have no desire to ever part from them. But some are harder to replace than others. I wouldn't part with my Le Petit Lenormand Noir by Chronata aka Robyn Tisch Hollister for anything. I don't even know if there was ever even a second ed. Hello, I hope I'm asking this in the right section of the forum, I have a quick question about a lenormand deck. I recently purchased a mini Daveluy Lenormand from thegameofhope shop. I tested out roughly the size of the mini with a ruler before deciding and went with a mini. Since that deck has both verses and card inserts, I'm wondering now if maybe the mini will be too mini. I've been poking around on the web for size example of a mini traditional deck with card inserts but have not found any. If there are members here with a copy of a thegameofhope repro mini with inserts could you possibly share a size comparison? And are the images and inserts clearly se…

I’ve just bought a reprint copy of this classic game/deck. I notice the instructions state (presumably translated from the original German) : ’2nd improved edition’. I’m wondering how the first edition differed and if the first edition instructions have ever been translated/made available?

Pondering about how many times some cards in Lenormand mean, so far that's what I observed: The Coffin = zero. The Tower = once, as it means one. The Whip = twice, to punish or remedy. The Birds = double. The Roads = at least two, as it means options. The Stars = multiple times, as it infers multitude. The Fish = many, like the Stars. Am I missing any? In your experience (it doesn't matter if you're a newbie or not, I want to know from what you've read so far) what have you observed?

Would it be wrong to use the Snake as to signify poison? Could it be materially (the thing which causes harm) or metaphorically (poisonous words, for example, as in Letter + Snake)?
