Individual Card Meanings

I'm having a conflict about the meaning of the 9 of cups. Mostly, I understand it as emotional fulfillment within oneself. But I also hear it described as the wish come true card. That doesn't feel right to me. The 9s are solitary, so I see it as self-actualization, self-fulfillment, full of oneself in the extreme? The wish come true card feels a bit too external. Idk...thoughts? How do you interpret the 9 of cups?

Hi all! Hope this is in the right section! I wonder about the Judgment card. I have read so many confusing and different meanings of this card and it's so hard to understand what it tries to say. I know it could mean that something has already come to an end, it's done, no way it can be revived and there is a lesson to be learned from it. But I have also had this card in three card spreads that I did multiple times for a specific question (I know .. one question done multiple times is not probably a good idea). Hi all Can anyone tell me the meaning of the 12 stars in the crown on the Empress please? Reading about it, I find different answers, from being connected to the cosmos or the spirit world to being in control of each month of the year but this feels like it is far older than that. Hello everyone. I would like to share some thoughts about the High Priestess. Looking at my notes I come to the conclusion that most of the times the HP comes as a secret in my readings.Something that the querent doesn’t no or he is not in a position to know. For example a few days ago I did a ‘new year’ spread for a member of my family and for January she had HP with another card that can indicate death.After a few days she found out that a friend of her’s died three months ago and she didn’t know about it. I've been thinking about this recently and found myself wondering: With cards that are stereotypically connected with distinct negative meanings, how would you read it as advice? I'm currently reading The Thoth Companion (M.O. Snuffin) and adding to my notes. For the Prince of Cups, I'm confused about his element. According to my 'research' I found the Thoth Prince = Waite Knight. In my notes I have Knights as fire, but in the book it says Princes are Air. While I thought Kings were Air... I'm lost. Or do Thoth and Waite just have a different approach and I should seperate the two schools in my notes?

I started the Halloween/Reading Group yesterday. I decided to turn over one card a day. Today I did the 2nd card: The Rats in the Basement - The secrets you keep from yourself. I pulled the Wheel of Fortune in the Housewives Tarot. Now how would you guys interpret the Wheel of Fortune as secrets I keep from myself? I get the card: luck, change, ups and downs. Hi! I'm doing a study in the Adventurer's Tarot; the deck booklet is extremely sparse and I don't think the definitions are necessarily accurate to the cards. Some cards are specific to this deck, so the above problem paired with an overall lack of information for some of these means I can't figure out better, in-depth meanings for the cards. Hi everybody! We are all aware of the concept of the Fool's Journey with the Major Arcana. Some days ago, I wrote this story, and tried to encompass the major aspects of each cards as if it was a tale. I first started with only the Major Arcana, but decided to expand the exercise by including the 56 cards from the Minor Arcana. While there is no official order for the Minor Arcana, I have chosen to go for a hard beginning and a happy ending for the main character, which is self-described as a ‘fool’ but could be absolutely everyone on a spiritual journey. I've always had a rocky relationship with The Empress and can never quite figure out what she's trying to tell me... Instead of the meaning of joy and vitality I have my own personal meaning associated with this card. This card represents my mental illness, schizophrenia. I’ve found this card always always pops up when doing readings for my illness. Does anyone know why such a positive card can carry such meaning?
