Ending the year with the Mary-el Tarot, which I will probably used the next couple of weeks - will depend on my mood and all the other stuff.

that is a great way to end the year, @VGimlet. Mary-El is one of my beloved and trusted favorites.

I will be working with the Wildwood Tarot and the Dreamer's Journey Cards.

Happy Solstice to all who celebrate.

I can't wait for the days to get longer again!

Mi-Shell,

I have been spending time with the Ironwing for the 78 week study group, and I've discovered many posts by you in the old AT boards about cards in this deck.  Beautiful thoughts, really resonant.  Thank you.

For the last two weeks of the year, I'm going to continue my on-again off-again study of the Wild Unknown Archetype cards.

Lovely to see everyone, this ongoing conversation really makes me feel good.  Hopefully I can start posting the occasional reading, since I enjoy Bodhiseed's readings so much.

Happy almost solstice!

Thank you for the thread, VG!🎄

The Christmas deck I ordered for myself (on behalf of DH) arrived yesterday, and it's my pick for this week...

Green Glyphs Lenormand  ~ James R. Eads, 2019

This is going to be the most interesting Lenormand deck in my collection. So happy.

Me too Mi-Shell!    Mine is the 20th - just missed the Solstice, which would have been fun.

VG and gang, I'm choosing to give myself the gift of 2 weeks offline. I need it, my head is about to explode 🙂

A deep and heartfelt Yule to all, and will see you in the new year. Sharyn

This week I'll be using the Tarot of the Sidhe, created by Emily Carding and published by Schiffer. I'll also be using the Green Man Tree Oracle, created by John Matthews and Will Worthington with Connections as its publisher. Today's draws are Dancer Ten (Ten of Cups) and Honeysuckle:

Come and join our faery song,
Find the home for which you long,
Know that you have found your place,
Circle of the Dancer's grace.

Connection - having a sense of unity and belonging with another person or group - is a basic human need. I've been helping look after the dog of an acquaintance who's been in the ICU and is now in a nursing home. Having a house full of cats and a busted up fence, she unfortunately can't stay with me. Although her neighbor and I have been feeding her and taking care of her basic needs for the past month, she is extremely lonely, anxious and sad. She desperately needs a human connection now that her person is gone. But today I'm meeting a wonderful woman from across the state line who is willing to foster her and give her a sense of belonging that's been missing. The sweet smell and taste of Honeysuckle is a perfect symbol for the generosity and kindness of this canine foster mom. May their new relationship be a blessing to both of them.

@Madame Squee, I'll look forward to hearing about your Green Glyphs Lenormand. It's on my list.
