I can't delete the quotes of my comments. The site is bugging all the time when i'm writing and going to do one of this actions. Is there a way to fix this?

Do you mean you are trying to delete something in someone else's posts? Where they have quoted something you've posted?

I'm not sure what you're trying to do.

Is this while you are writing a reply to a post?

What browser are you using and are you doing it from a computer or mobile?

Iif it's the quotes with nothing in them in a few of your posts, try clicking the + sign at the top left of the quote and simply hitting delete

@stephanelli when i'm replying and i put  a quote box, sometimes turns out to be  empty, i can't erase it. Or when i quote another person't comment on my own also can't erase it. And yesterday everytime i tried to copy something i wrote, i cound't do it. The sign that gregory says (+) to delete doesn't appear to me for some reason.

You have a delete button on your keyboard; click the + and then hit the delete key.

Hover over the quote and you'll see the + - there it is:

What OUGHT also to work is putting your cursor AFTER the quote you want out, and then hitting the "back" key - that one with the arrow.

until it goes. OUTSIDE the quote though, not in it.

How do you delete on your mobile as a rule ?

Posted (edited)

@gregory Usually just with the delete key/buttom (of the phone keyboard) but it isn't working. Not to delete these quotes or of what i also realised; name tags as well, like this one i put to reply to you, i have to clear the whole comment for that to happen. I didn't quoted anyone before realising this problem and i didn't acessed with a computer yet

Is it possible the phone is at fault ? How does it work if you email and suchlike ?

Can you do it using the + as I showed you ?

I believe it is a bug on the mobile version.  As it happens for me too. I always assumed it was my phone/browser being weird (because it does that lot).

I'm not sure if there's much if anything she can do but just in case, pinging @Little Fang

Ah. On a phone can you (as I do on my tablet) "select web version" ? Would that help ?

@Raiane I have this issue on mobile too, so you're not alone!

My solution to get rid of both name tags and quotes is to copy all the text I want to keep and refresh the page. Then when you go to the reply box you should have a black bar at the bottom of the reply box appear that will let you "clear editor", if you hit that "clear editor" part it will get rid of everything so you can start again

Personally it's worse for me with that as it's harder to click on the right places so I give up quickly 😆 (I do admittedly have a little phone compared to most phones nowadays).
