It read wonderfully, it was really an interesting breath of fresh air. As predicted the fire/wind thing didn't matter to me. I really felt the cards spoke to me in a new way. The pictures are so beautiful that it is like opening up a chapter in a fantasy novel. Thank you. It's great that it's working out so well and so quickly. :)

Emilija Posted August 11, 2018 Posted August 11, 2018 Just started selling tarot readings again so I'm expanding my Oracle Deck Collection ;) Just got The Good Tarot; absolutely adore it; the imagry is gorgeous..just need to work with it more for a more solid connection..only using it for personal readings so far Got two backgrounds to display my readings; a galaxy and marble style. Love them In the mail is Angel Therapy Oracle Cards (The book she made titled angel therapy was beautiful and helped me so much) The Power of Love Activation Cards and The Romance Angel Oracle Cards (have been wanting this one for a long time) Anyway more to come! I really want Chrysalis Tarot and Dreaming Way Lenormand and Tarot Cards I'm glad I'm not the only one that has Doreen Virtue decks. Try her Angel dreams deck.

I have never used one of Doreen’s decks, nor have I ever been a fan of her - BUT I think it is extremely important to differentiate a tool from its creator. That doesn’t mean that you’re not appreciating their work or acknowledging the part their unique journey has impacted their product, it just means that you are able to perceive and use the tool for what it is - a tool! I mean, would you stop using your hammer if I told you that the person who made it was a jerk? (Well, maybe you would - who knows, but I think you get my point.) What really matters is what you make of your tool. Someone can craft an object with the purest intentions and it might still be used for awful things. Such is life. Just my two cents ;) (and I apologize for going so off topic!)

Well she did denounce all of her tarot and oracle decks telling the people who bought them to burn them...so yeah that did make me think twice about buying her creation again. I don't think she's a jerk or anything, I still like her I feel kind of bad for her to be honest...and honestly yeah if I didn't like the person making them or the company making a product I don't buy it. If a company tests on animals I don't buy from them; if a person has bad vibes I don't buy from them either regardless of how the product seems on the surface it still carries their energy. If I find out a product I'm gifted or whatever is tested on animals or learn horrible things about the company or creator I'll just associate that product with that and naturally veer away from it and never use it again so yes. Idk to each their own I guess.

But at the same time I realize how complicated it is. I mean, there will always be people using their profits for things you would not approve of (like there are guaranteed to be a lot of people who eat meat and wear leather that are involved in the creation of every tarot deck. So when you buy their decks you inevitably contribute to their ability to buy even more meat and leather products.) Also, some of the historical tarot decks certainly has potential for ‘bad vibes’ around them. Like the Visconti Sforza deck. I read a book about it and was quite horrified about the history surrounding the deck. But I still include it in my collection as it is a part of tarot history and all modern decks are to some extent derived from historical decks. But this is so very off topic so I’ll stop here. But an interesting topic for sure, and thanks for sharing your perspective!

I try my best but you can never be perfect, I know that. Sometimes (like buying gas or driving a car ) there is no way around it right now. All that matters is I try my best, I don't consciously contribute to horrible industries or industry practices..and if I have to choose between something that is more morally right or not morally right in my purchases I choose the better option; is about choosing the better option not the perfect without a flaw option. Sometimes there is no good option; so just choose the best one. You can't be perfect in life or choices so don't try to do good at all or try your best. Of course I want to try my best. I look at the direct flow of the money as to where it's going..supporting that industry. When it comes to spiritual tools; the energy of the creator is the most important thing to me as I am welcoming that energy into my life and home. Alot of times I don't dive too deep into that. I trust my intuition. You're welcome and thanks for sharing yours. ;)

Well third, as I already paid for the Lo Scarabeo Visconti Modrone deck, but that won't come until February next year. And I say splashed out, but it cost less than £9, including postage. I don't care. I'm excited. It's very much an out-of-the-ordinary deck. Not Golden Dawn. Not TdM. Its majors may be TdM influenced, but the astrological and elemental significances differ. The minors are Picard. It's going to be an fun one to get to grips with.

It does change the elemental correspondences of the Cups and Swords so that Cups are Air and Swords are Water, but it didn't really bother me even if I like using elemental analyses in my readings. I hope that you like it. Btw I have the old pink box by Fournier. Will you have the latest green one? I mean, we can compare LWBs if you want, Ratty. :)

Then I had it shipped through an independent supplier anyway. So I really don't know until it arrives. Fournier are still showing the green pack, with El Sol on the front, on thier website. The blue pack has El Consultante. Both have the same bar code. Both have Spanish and English printing.

Not love at first handling, but interesting energies. LOVE the Lenormand--might be my new favorite Lenormand deck in hand. But I'm most enthralled by the Tarot de l'Eden so wanted to post pics of some of the cards from this beautiful deck. The Tower here is called "The House of God" and Death is called "The Card with No Name." Really gorgeous images, with a full book to accompany it. Unfortunately, it is all in French, and though I did study French for a few years, I'm having to use Google Translate a lot! The Cartes D'Harmonisation par les Fleurs and Dream Cue Cards are going up on EBAY. Just didn't take to them. All in all, though: Good deal!

I've been wanting this deck for a while now, really excited that I'll have it in my hands soon. He said there're some blemishes on the cards, fingers crossed it's not too noticeable.

For a second I thought there wasn't an lwb, but it was placed in the middle of the deck. The lwb claims tarot started with the gypsies. I can't say that this opening has done a lot for the deck's credibility! It took me an hour between getting my first deck and doing my first reading. I think I'll take a little more time with this one. I was surprised quite how explicitly hermaphrodite The World was. And the Page of Cups looked past his sell by date. I can relate to that.
