Lantana Posted October 7, 2017 Posted October 7, 2017 Wild Unknown Animal Spirit Oracle should be on its way to me next week. :D
sandrang123 Posted October 7, 2017 Posted October 7, 2017 Gilded Reverie Lenormand just arrived. Gilded Tarot on its way.
katrinka Posted October 7, 2017 Posted October 7, 2017 Pam's Vintage Tarot, a bridge sized RWS with linen stock. And both Wirths from here http://thecartomancer.bigcartel.com/product/oswald-wirth-tarot-majors, also in linen. :D
Page of Ghosts Posted October 8, 2017 Posted October 8, 2017 I finally have The Wild Unknown Set in my hands! Can't wait to open it. ;D Hooray! I hope you like it! ;D I already opened it last night and OMG it was absolutely divine, Page of Ghosts. The art, the material, the production value, everything made it so very worth it. Thanks for recommending it, Page of Ghosts! And I hope you enjoy the Everyday Witch when she comes your way. :) That's great EmpyreanKnight! She came last Tuesday and she's a beaut! Only wish the cardstock was a bit better, but it's still something I can work with ;) I recently finished Deborah Blakes Everyday Witchcraft book so it's nice that she wrote the guidebook. I ended up, after some careful consideration, to order a few more decks I've been thinking of for a long time. The large size Thoth was kind of a necessety since I think the purple box is a bit too small for Lady Friedas artwork to shine and I feel like working some more with it. The Goddess Tarot is a 90's classic and I've wanted a goddess themed deck for a while. Tarot of the Master is a historical deck I've been very interested in as it doesn't have pips and I've yet to feel confident enough with them to go for something like a Marseille deck.
MoonGypsy Posted October 9, 2017 Posted October 9, 2017 i am hoping that my Santa Muerte Tarot Limited Edition will be posting soon from the BookDepository. i had originally pre-ordered it from Amazon--months ago--and last week they suddenly cancelled it, due to its unavailability! :o A bit annoying, since i had to quickly decide on an alternative and the pub date was fast appoaching. ::) i am really looking forward to this deck and so hope to have it soon, so i can work with it this month; And of course on Dia de los Muertos, itself! xox :)
EmpyreanKnight Posted October 12, 2017 Posted October 12, 2017 I finally ordered the Pamela Colman-Smith Commemorative Set. I love the Centennial so much, and with this it becomes the very first Tarot deck that I bought a backup of. I've heard that there are very minor differences tho

Whew, that's quite a loot, Page of Ghosts! I agree that the large green-box Thoth is almost necessary if you want to study the Thoth. The level of detail can be very outstanding, and it really is a different experience. Not to take away from my regular Thoth which has been my steadfast friend for the past two years, but you made a good call on that one. :)

Not to take away from my regular Thoth which has been my steadfast friend for the past two years, but you made a good call on that one. :) Is IS quite the loot! I didn't really buy any new decks at all during the first half of this year - an oracle deck and a tarot deck in January, then the regular Thoth in June. Didn't think this was gonna be a big tarot year but since August I've kinda been on a roll :-[ I think we're talking about 10 decks including these three I'm expecting mid to late next week. The RWS is my go-to deck and I really like PCS' art, but in terms of beautiful aesthetics Lady Frieda has some advantage. The main difference being of course that LFH was an affluent woman who spent years to perfect the Thoth to Crowleys liking, while PCS was an efficient working gal and completed the RWS in half a year or less. So the large version of the Thoth will satisfy my need for beauty and detail I hope, I couldn't see all the things DuQuette wrote about in his book because I have the regular size deck.
RavenOfSummer Posted October 13, 2017 Posted October 13, 2017 I finally traded my Archeon, a beautiful deck but one I was never able to connect with after owning for about 2 years. In return I am receiving the Celtic Tarot by Julian de Burgh. It's a new-to-me deck...I'm familiar with other Celtic decks but had never seen this one. So I'm excited for it. It's the deck and book set too :)
Ephemeridae Posted October 14, 2017 Posted October 14, 2017 I purchased the Tarot of The Crone as a halloween gift to myself and I am so excited! I debated also getting the Dark Goddess Tarot as you save on postage if you order them at the same time but I decided to save the money and put it on my wish list instead.
EmpyreanKnight Posted October 15, 2017 Posted October 15, 2017 Ordered the After Tarot Kit. It should be here before the weekend.
EmpyreanKnight Posted October 15, 2017 Posted October 15, 2017 Also added the Vice Versa Tarot Kit. I'm on an RWS-Inspired decks roll now.
Maggie Gordon Posted October 16, 2017 Posted October 16, 2017 Currently hoping that the Santa Muerte Limited Edition is soon-to-be on its way... (Crosses fingers and hopes supplier got enough!)

The majors are unnumbered, which I like for this deck. Looking forward to working with it. I think it's been OOP for a while now...I'm just surprised this deck never got more attention!
ayuryogini Posted October 17, 2017 Posted October 17, 2017 Wizards Tarot recently ordered. I was surprised at how difficult it was to find.
EmpyreanKnight Posted October 19, 2017 Posted October 19, 2017 Ordered the Tarot of the New Vision Kit for my IDS of the RWS next year, along with the Fin De Siècle Kipper to complement my Gilded Reverie Lenormand. And that's a wrap! No more purchases until next year, I've had all I want for Christmas.
EmpyreanKnight Posted October 19, 2017 Posted October 19, 2017 Also, of course the Smith-Waite Borderless. I really have to keep track of stuff. But that's where the buck stops. :)
EmpyreanKnight Posted October 20, 2017 Posted October 20, 2017 The Gypsy Witch Fortune Telling Cards in the orange box was available locally for a tempting price, so I grabbed it like no one's business. It's a curious thing, but I've bought a lot of Tarot decks this year (around 20+) and yet this is my first oracle deck for 2017. I'm curious as to how it'd be like. It'd be perfect for the oracle reading circle in the works. :) And yeah, I think this should mark the end of my purchases for this year. I already have all I want for Christmas. ;D
Lantana Posted October 22, 2017 Posted October 22, 2017 Finally ordered the Minimalist Oracle and the Pythia Botanica Oracle. Lots of oracles gracing my porch lately!
ballerina Posted October 22, 2017 Posted October 22, 2017 I ordered the Santa Muerte Tarot from Book Depository so hope to have that in a couple weeks.
ayuryogini Posted October 22, 2017 Posted October 22, 2017 I received my Wizards Tarot and the box is such a mess, I'm not even taking the plastic wrap off; hopefully, the next one won't be damaged.
katrinka Posted October 22, 2017 Posted October 22, 2017 The postman is not currently bringing any decks. I am being very, very good. I should reward myself with a deck. ;D
EmpyreanKnight Posted October 22, 2017 Posted October 22, 2017 This is shaping up to be quite a weekend. Finally got my LoS Sola Busca and the Pamela Colman Smith Commemorative Set, along with the newest edition of DuQuette's Understanding Aleister Crowley's Thoth Tarot. Had a serious scare regarding my package. Importing items from overseas can be troublesome sometimes smh. When I consulted the Thoth it just said "chill bruh", and yeah it was resolved within the day. :)
MoonGypsy Posted October 22, 2017 Posted October 22, 2017 Namaste, all! i just ordered the new Trick or Tarot Lenormand by Duck Soup. It will be a wonderful partner to my Trick or Tarot Decks i have coming, which are in production. However, i doubt if i will have any of them by Samhain/Halloween... But i use my Samhain type decks all year long, anyway... ;)
EmpyreanKnight Posted October 23, 2017 Posted October 23, 2017 Finally got the After Tarot Kit and the Vice Versa Tarot Kit too! Lo Scarabeo really knows how to make Tarot sets - they're nice-looking and sturdy and they're also bigger than I expected.
