I also have Il Meneghello Etruria ... but wish I had the Lo Scarabeo verion ONLY for the included  booklet by Andrea Vitali. I found a used copy online for $75 ... which is cheaper than the outrageous $200+ some sellers want ... but even then I couldn't see spending $75 just for the booklet when my Etruria is basically the same deck. It's prolly still out there if you're looking. The seller is/was in NM (USA)

 

I have one of the new Anima Antiqua tarots on order ... it should be coming 9 November. There are definitely a couple I'm sad I missed ... but this is my first timing buying one on pre order.

 

For fans of Italian decks ... Il Meneghello just re-printed the Piedmontese deck ... and I purchased it from their website ... wonder how long shipping from Italy will take. So excited they finally reprinted this deck.

By a stroke of luck I was going through Facebook at the right moment to snag a copy of the Oze69 Deck by Ninecats Wu. !!!! I never thought I'd find one, at a reasonable price no less. A nice recovery from the postal service eating the Tarot Nusantara.

Anyway ... how do you NOT immediately run for a pair of scissors and open it up?

I had one deck I didn't open for some months b/c I bought it more for historic research than to read with ... and when I opened it ... it was the WRONG deck in the right package. Luckily the seller was very kind about exchanging ... it was a defective product ... but I was nervous at first they would say the return/exchange window had closed.

I’ve just ordered the Wandering Star Tarot. I like the colours, it’ll be nice for the dark winter.  I’ve never had a deck with keywords, we’ll see. And I’ve not bought a new deck in a long time so I’m looking forward to it.

I did NOT cave on the Green Glyphs, but I DID on the new printing of the Spirit Keeper's.  The site says it ships March-April, so I have a wait ahead of me.  I'm sure I'll have other decks coming in before that to tide me over.

 

For example:  

Notoria: Tarot in Light is still preordered on the Llewellyn site. It said it would be out in October, now says November.  Waiting patiently!

Into the Void: The Black Cat Tarot is funded on Kickstarter, expected January.

 

There will be others, I'm sure!

I feel a bit unsure about my decision, but I cancelled my early bird of the GG box set because I truly feel it was a FOMO reaction for me to even pledge for it. I may regret it one day, but I doubt it. I know I won’t regret ordering this version of the Spirit Keeper’s as I chose not to order it when it was first released and waited to know if I would actually be happy with it. I will.

 

I have many other Kickstarter decks coming and several other decks arriving this week. The Transient Light Tarot and the Urban Crow Oracle arrived yesterday. Tomorrow I am looking forward to receiving a package from Llewellyn’s Samhain sale. I also recently received The Tarot of Oneness and The Destiny Lace Oracle. I am patiently waiting on the Mazo Tarot Minchiate, Earth, Moon & Shadow Oracle, and The Monsoon Tarot.

hehe I did buy the Green Glyphs Tarot and Lenormand in the end but not the whole box set. I wanted it because it's hard to get here and despite the postage, the decks were cheaper than other options for me. I hope I don't regret it and end up paying a lot in customs. But I have about 6 months until it arrives 🤞

I have my Sefirot (KS) definitely arriving with Fedex by 6pm today - it is now 7pm 8.30 pm - and I leave for France tomorrow - and another from Fedex is arriving Wednesday and there is no way, in either case, of contacting them to ask them to deliver to a friend or to hold them for 2 weeks. NOT happy. All there is is an automated voice which keeps repeating that it doesn't understand the question, asks repeatedly for the tracking number and then says that's no good they want the SHIPPING number - something I don't have.... I don't LOVE DHL - but at least you can go on line to their tracking site and change the date or ask them to use your safe place.... NOT a happy bunny....

Purchased Lo Scarabeo's Tarot Vintage from a nearby country through an online shop in a local e-commerce app just last Saturday. It dropped here today, which was mondo rapido. Shipping ended up only costing me around $3 too. Something tells me I'm about to be a repeat customer.

Tried to kid myself I was going to wait till I'd at least listed some decks to sell but who was I kidding 😄.  Have been waiting for this to be published for I don't even know how many years.

 

Just deciding what I'm going to use to edge it black. Stamp pads are messy and take much longer but permanent marker is stanky.

It's such a great little deck, you won't be disappointed! I have to wonder that it wasn't done with black edging, though I notice a lot of the major publishers don't do much edging at all. Their loss, this one would really pop with some treatment to it (non-gilded, anyways).

 Right? It so obviously wants a black or even dark, gunmetal or grey edging that it looks naked without it.

I decided against the Phantomwise, even though (or because?) I have the majors-only deck from Adam McLean's Alchemy Website.  We've been waiting for the full deck for a REALLY long time!  I think my taste has changed over that time.  It's definitely worthy, but not a must-have for me anymore.  

 

In the meantime, I backed the Urban Incantations and went on a bit of an Etsy spree!  Here's the full damage:
