Alternative or indie goddess / divine feminine oracle decks

Hi all,

I would love to know what's out there and what people can recommend in the way of alternative, lesser known or indie oracle decks that depict goddesses and named divine feminine figures from a range of cultures and traditions. I'm aware that there are a few mainstream decks available on the market but the artwork isn't quite for me so I'd love to know what else might be available.

Thank you 😊

I wanted to suggest the Sacred Feminine Oracle by Canadian artist Roxi Sim. She made the successful Pearls of Wisdom Tarot in the past and that artwork were all originally paintings. They are always very colourful and busy in the images, so much is going on and great for reading intuitively. This oracle is drawn by coloured pencil and has images of Mother Earth and she says, "In tune with the rhythms of Mother Earth, these magical and mystical cards nurture your connection to Sacred Feminine energy. Dedicated to the Divine Feminine, the Triple Goddess of Maiden, Mother and Crone". All the images are of different Earth Mothers.

This is the site for it, there are card images and you can buy different sized decks from Gamecrafter or get an app version on all the app stores.....

I love reading with mine, the artwork is very evocative and this is self-published as an indie oracle.

These are beautiful cards @DanielJUK, thank you for the recommendation! As you say there's so much going on in the images, I can see that they would add a lot of depth to a reading. They have such a lovely vibrancy!

I'd spotted The Divine Feminine Oracle by Meggan Watterson and the Legendary Ladies Goddess Deck by Ann Shen, both are nice however I'm not sure I really click with them...

I've also just spotted the Goddess Knowledge Cards by Susan Seddon Boulet and Michael Babcock, they're beautiful and intriguing, I wonder if anyone here has any experience with them?

I'm not into goddess decks but for one notable exception. When I heard that the Ancient Feminine Wisdom Oracle was reissued recently, I grabbed it posthaste. It dovetails so beautifully with the art and system of the Celestial Tarot, which has always dazzled me.

It's neither indie nor alternative, but I mentioned it because it's close to being OOP once again. It can still be had for a reasonable price in some online stores, but they're all about to run out.

Dark goddess tarot is not an oracle deck per se, but I think it can well be used in such a way. In fact, I prefer it as an Oracle rather than a tarot deck.

Oh thank you for mentioning that @Akhilleus, I had been eyeing that deck a while ago. It's good to know that I'll have to act quickly if I'd like a copy! I think the artwork is beautiful and I'll forever be fascinated by Greek mythology...

@Raggydoll that deck has since gone on my list 😊 And it's interesting what you say about using it more like an oracle or reference than an actual tarot, I'd had the same thought. As I understand it there's a mass market version now with a very good guidebook, I think it'll be going on my Christmas list!

That deck is really lovely @FindYourSovereignty, thank you for pointing me to it!

Thank you @Teemu, that deck is really interesting! The artwork is lovely. And I can read German so that would work fine for me too 😊
