Maybe you could do two additional readings. a. what are the benefits if I let her go now b. what are the benefits if I let her stay I have been in similar situations and even though letting someone go means more work, the hassle-free situations will make up for it.

Thanks @joy I will have to do that. And till now I thought it was only an attitude issue, but off late I see a capability issue as well. Basics, for eg she added all percentages together and took out average of them..lol..I couldn’t stop laughing today. There is no math formula like this. And while I made fun of it with my husband, in the long run this could be really detrimental for the organization if these errors are missed. Anyway, let’s see where this goes.

Yes I have seen things like this too. When HR said let us keep them and I was NO! Because it was the rest of staff who had to do extra work to fix the errors..... I rather work more hours than fixing errors others made....
