Big Thanks to @PathWalker for making many decks available to us here at a special price when she is downsizing her collection.  She sent it to me her in Ubud, Bali, Indonesia from England.

I just received the Vintage Christmas Tarot by Hattie Thorn from Esty's.  It is a great Christmas Deck full of nostalgia, I would rate it as one of the top 10 decks in my collection based on how beautiful it is.

Hi everyone, long time no see,

The postman will bring me the Alchemical Tarot  - https://robertmplacetarot.com/the-alchemical-tarot-renewed-4th-edition/
and the little Prisma Vision in a tin - https://prismavisions.com/en-uz/collections/tarot-1/products/little-prisma-visions-pre-order

This thread is easily my favorite in the forum, I so much love to see what people are getting!

I got the Alchemical Tarot yesterday! It's by far my most beautiful deck and I love the symbolism. It's intuitive, but also as deep and intellectual as alchemy can go.

I did my first personal reading with the deck today:

Hi All!

After a number of adventures and changing postal services, almost a month and a half later, the Austin Osman Spare Tarot arrived. I bought the book when it was first published. Now it was the deck's turn. A nice addition to the AOS collection 🙂

Just ordered the Pastoral Tarot, by Lynn Araujo and Lisa Hunt.   Should arrive in a few days.

I have swithered for a long time about getting this deck.  I finally had a good long look at it via a YouTube tarot silent flip-through—one that didn't feature distracting wiggly fingers, or spend 10 minutes fumbling it out of the shrink wrap and the box—and thought ...okay.  Go for it.

What has bothered me about this deck is that the court card images don't really resonate with me at all.  BUT, there is no reason I can't do readings without using the court cards ...and that is probably what I will end up doing.  I do like most of the other cards a lot.

I am always on the lookout for realistic modern decks that depict modern figures acting out what the cards seem to mean today, and this is a pretty good example.  The other modern 'realistic' decks I have, like Poppy Palin's excellent The Everyday Enchantment Tarot, are all urban in tone. This Pastoral Tarot is not, so it will expand my tool box.  There are a few cards I kinda wish were depicted differently, as I will struggle to warm to them, but that's common with all decks, isn't it?  Some cards you just don't like all that much.  Many good cards in this deck to compensate, though.  So I went for it.

Oh, the Pastoral Tarot, I love it. Yes, in every deck, there are cards that speak to us more than others, but overall, it's an interesting and beautiful take on the tarot archetypes and situations.

I supported the Telos Tarot and can't wait until I hold it in my wrinkly old hands! I ordered the Book of Seshet with it, it's the only Meleen book I don't own yet and it's about time since I love the Rosetta Tarot so much.

In my mother's house in Europe, two decks are waiting for me: the Tarot of the Sefirot - The Spheres of Heaven Tarot and the  Zodiac Tarot in a Tin. I have no idea when I will be able to go there but it's nice to know they're there. I ordered the Flow Tarot after long deliberation - I hope it will work for me. Somehow, it reminds me of the Majestic Earth Tarot which I really love.

I can't afford more decks right now but the next on my list will certainly be the Rainshadow Tarot 😉

Anxiously awaiting a parcel from Italy containing:
La Corte dei Tarocchi by Anna Maria D'Onofrio (Il Meneghello)

That is such a whimsically beautiful deck. I don't read with it [yet] so I can't speak to that, but I bought it as an art deck and love it just to look at.

Yes, it is!

I kind of "courted" this deck for over a year, and now that it's here, it already feels quite familiar.

Just received the Il Vostro Destino from the Postman today! 😁

It's a 52 card deck from the early 20th century, iirc. Some cards are similar to Sibilla (it's also a Mesenghini deck, like La Vera Sibilla), but it's different, and definitely has its own 'voice'.

Each card has a keyword/title, definitely enough to inspire intuition imo. Which is good, as there's no meanings in the leaflet that came the deck. The only 3 things in the leaflet are the meanings for the suits, and 2 reading methods: an old french spread, and also a yes/no reading using the Aces. Both of these were common during the 19th/early 20th century

The only thing I don't like are the backs! Not sure who chose yellow and black, or why? 😅

The postman is about to bring me (not very soon) a deck of playing cards called Maidens, by Joker and the Thief, and a book on the Major Arcana by Robin Artisson, called  DeSavyok Elfhame Tarot Special Edition Guidebook.

The book was written to accompany the deck their company produced but it can be used with any deck, of course, and I wanted it because I am always interested in what Artisson has to say.

And the cards are just beautiful and were not very expensive. The symbolism of the deck is about what I need in a divination deck.

The Flow Tarot has arrived at Villa Nemia, and it's beautiful. I haven't done a reading with it yet but just by looking at it, I feel meditative, comforted and refreshed. It's just what I needed at this point in time.

I know it's not for everyone but I love exploring the tarot archetypes from different angles, and this is a special one.

You are right.  It's beautiful. I watched the flip-through, and feel it's a deck I could use—certainly for spreads that don't contain lots of cards. (The cards aren't instantly visually indistinguishable from one another.)  The images do work in a traditional tarot sense, and the 'labels' aren't irritating at all.

I saw UUSI having a second edition of "Eros: The Garden of Love" for pre-order. I missed the first one. After I convinced myself that there is absolutely no need to get this one and that it will pop up sooner or later anywhere where I wouldn't have to pay something like 50 € shipping, customs and import taxes – my dear friend living abroad came to mind who has already been a Tarot courier.

Reasoning vanished immediately and this sexy freight will come to me – sooner or later.

It definitely works for me. I really enjoy this deck and agree, it is all that you describe.

I have TWO tarot decks coming in the mail 😁 Very exciting! One is the Painted tarot, and the other one is a majors only deck by the same creator as my favorite Oracle deck - Heather Hoeps. The deck is called Inner Journey Tarot and I’m really excited to add it to my collection! It will be fun to try working with a majors only deck, I haven’t done that in a while! I’ll definitely be combining it with other systems and I can already tell that it will look great with my Oracle deck and my runes!

Congratulations! Frankly, it is a beautiful deck and I remember that you had been contemplating it for a while. May it serve you well!

I’ll let you know for sure, and we could even test it out on our next zoom, if it has arrived by then! 😊 I am apparently getting one of the decks delivered tomorrow but I’m not entirely sure which one because it’s the same couriers. But I look forward to it a lot! I hope Heather will make a full tarot deck at some point, that would make me so happy!

I just ordered the mini version (in a tin) of the Korean Tarot by Bana.

https://banatarot.com/

I've had the larger holographic version for about a year and I wanted s smaller one to carry in my purse.

This is a lovely, well researched deck with one of the best companion books I've ever seen.
