"My friend the brilliant author Rachel Pollack is coming to the end of her life. She won the Nebula, World Fantasy and Arthur C Clarke awards. She is a world renowned expert on Tarot, and her books on Tarot are still regarded as the gold standard. She created the first trans superhero, in Doom Patrol in '93. I will miss her very much when she goes. I am writing this at the request of her wife Zoe, to let her friends know that the end is soon, and to let the obituarists know too. (I saw her yesterday and hope to see her again before the end.)"

We all seemed to understand this nuance here but others didn't 😭. Many sites then deleted! Mary Greer is in touch with her wife Zoe and trying to get the word out that she is still with us and having hospice care at home. Zoe will be the source of the next announcement. I just checked Mary's FB and no news yet, last post was yesterday to keep Rachel in your thoughts 🙏

The whole tarot internet is speculating about it and there are a lot of confusion about the matter and it's easy to find someone or a site / channel who has wrong news about it. This section of the forum is a memoriam and is meant as a solemn place without speculation which isn't fair for anyone. Could I please request that if you post any news, to include a good reliable source. I am thinking Rachel's own social media, her wife Zoes (some people in the tarot community have her as a friend) or Neil Gaiman and Mary Greer's postings as they are close with her and visiting her at home. These are direct reliable linked sources. Further speculative posts will be removed. As of now, there is no official updates since Monday saying to keep her in our thoughts and she is in hospice care at home. Thanks for your understanding on this issue ❤️
