Do we have a book review thread for tarot-related books?

I have been searching the forum, but can't find any section dedicated to book reviews of tarot-related subjects.  I don't mean books connected to particular decks (which I understand are covered in the Study Group section) but general books on tarot, reviewed by forum members.  Have I missed this section?

This is a subject that we have discussed regularly between us. The issue is we don't get much book talk and so making a book section could end up with a quiet area.

Currently, members are more than welcome to share their tarot and divination book recommendations in these places....

If you want to start a thread with a book review or discussing a book, please feel free to do it in the Tarot in Media section here. That's the place for books right now.

We have started new areas when they have a lot of threads, so this could change and if we do have a Book Section at a later date, we will of course move all the threads and reviews from Media over to it.

If you want to start a thread of book reviews, go for it! Or just make a thread per book 🙂

But what about a section in the library for people to post reviews ?

This was asked before but the Deck Library is pictorial, it's difficult to turn it into Book reviews really. But we will look into it again.

@DanielJUK -thanks for that information! I'm currently reading a new book (on Kindle) and once I can get it in paperback, I may wish to review it.  It's excellent.

Theresa Reed's The Cards You're Dealt, about reading for grief, serious health issues, recuperation from loss, divorce, and other negative situations that require a deft touch from the tarot practitioner or reader.  (And she is very adamant in many places in the book that tarot does NOT replace expert consultation with doctors, therapists, etc.  That kind of ethical approach underpins her tarot philosophy.)

The book has just been released in the UK on Kindle, but won't be available here in paperback till 28 November.

I'm not sure that works out because deck images are about seeing some of the cards. Deck covers are already online

Might look into a separate forum section
