You might like this thread with free online tarot courses / resources around the net for learning -

Post any questions you have in the relevant section, tarot questions should go here -

https://www.thetarotforum.com/forums/forum/11-tarot-talk-technique/

Do search the forum, often someone asked before. You are more than welcome to post on old threads, that is allowed here 🙂

When you get to 5 posts, you can see the reading and exchange sections and discuss individual cards in the individual card meanings area.

When you feel confident enough, there are monthly reading exchanges (called circles) where you are paired with other members. The Newbies circle is very gentle and aimed at any skill level, it starts at the beginning of each month but something to think about if you want to practice reading with others.

Welcome, @Bethy! I hope you will enjoy this forum.

The two most famous British authors involved in tarot were Arthur Edward Waite (1857-1942) and Aleister Crowley (1875-1947), but there is a multitude of lesser known ones (Frank Lind, Alfred Douglas, Gareth Knight and Nigel Jackson among others). When Waite and Crowley began to publish their writings on the matter, there already existed 130-140 years worth of writings in French.

The artists with whom Waite and Crowley, respectively, cooperated were Pamela Colman Smith (1878-1951) and Lady Frieda Harris (1877-1962). Putting their names in the search function will gather some interesting reading.
