Bodhiseed Posted April 14, 2025 Posted April 14, 2025 I'm in with the RainShadow Tarot paired with the Liminal Spirits Oracle this week. Fire cat, that spread goes right along with the reading I did this morning! Words—so innocent and powerless as they are, as standing in a dictionary, how potent for good and evil they become, in the hands of one who knows how to combine them! —Nathaniel Hawthorne The flower arrangement on this Ace of Swords is a reminder that words can be encouraging, supportive and beneficial just as they can be provoking, cruel and poisonous. This Ace advocates for clarity, for seeing beyond our preferences and prejudices, our plans and plots. Hare is a symbol of fertility; it gives us notice that the bend of our thoughts and words will continue to curve in a certain direction unless we change them. We can choose to build a beautiful life or wind up sitting alone in a pile of rubble.
Natural Mystic Guide Posted April 14, 2025 Posted April 14, 2025 I continue with: The Greenwood Tarot by Mark Ryan & Chesca Potter.
Saturn Celeste Posted April 14, 2025 Posted April 14, 2025 I'm staying with the Tarot of Mystical Moments.
fire cat pickles Posted April 14, 2025 Author Posted April 14, 2025 Welcome back @Bodhiseed, @Natural Mystic Guide, and @Saturn Celeste!
Christina Posted April 14, 2025 Posted April 14, 2025 I'm in with the Sun and Moon Tarot and Herbal Astrology pocket oracle 🙂
Rachelcat Posted April 14, 2025 Posted April 14, 2025 @Christina, ooo, I need to check out Herbal Astrology! Hello, crew! Happy to be back! This week will be the first and most recent decks by Nakisha: The Rabbit Tarot and Nakisha’s Oracle. I’ve had the Rabbit for years but never really read with it. It has the best Strength card in the world! (I think I had the first version with the thick black borders and traded it in for this the poker-sized second edition.) The suits are sticks for wands, tulips for cups, carrots for swords, and daisies for coins. The knights ride goats! Cuteness overload! Nakisha’s Oracle is another landscapes-based oracle, with cards for “Lake,” “Desert,” etc. plus non-natural items like “Play,” and “Deception.” It’s 52 cards plus a card with keywords. (I’m not sure if I’ll decide between Bloodlands Oracle and Nakisha’s Oracle or if I’ll keep them both. I guess we’ll see after this week.) Two interviews. Three tens! And an ace. What is your most important characteristic? I Tulips The deck is all about emotions, positive and negative. It brings out the feelings in any reading. What is your strength? X Carrots But it’s actually strong for intellectual readings. It can point out overwhelming thoughts or propaganda and misinformation. Your weakness? X Daisies The deck isn’t as good at readings about prosperity. It portrays financial issues as enjoyment issues. What can you teach me? V Tulips The deck can teach me about how to deal with disappointment and sadness. How can I learn it? X Sticks By understanding when the sadness is a function of being overwhelmed and burned out. What will be the outcome of our work together? III Daisies It will be a celebration of the art: the manifestation of the ideals of tarot and the joy of these sweet rabbits! What is your most important characteristic? Library The deck both informative and entertaining. If I take my time with it. What is your strength? Cave The deck’s natural items are more powerful than its human-made items. Your weakness? Home It’s more about exploring than staying comfortable. What can you teach me? Swamp How to find the good in something that doesn’t look (or smell) very good. How can I learn it? Forest Again by concentrating on the natural rather than the human-made. What will be the outcome of our work together? Truth Wow! The deck is making a claim here! We’ll see how it turns out.
