Rachelcat Posted May 5, 2025 Posted May 5, 2025 Hi, everybody! Thanks @fire cat pickles! This week will be Tarocchi Marsigliesi, Fratelli Recchi, Oneglia, Torino 1830 and Divining Poets: Dickinson. The booklet of the tarot points out that “Marseille” as a tarot variation designation began in the 1930s. And that this deck was definitely printed in Italy, either in Turin or Oneglia. It’s a unrefined deck with titles in French. I recently picked up three of the four “Divining Poets” decks, which join my slowly growing list of text-only decks (and landscape decks). I think this one, with lines from Emily Dickinson’s poetry, was the first one published. The others will be coming soon to a deck of the week near you! Two interviews! What is your most important characteristic? 8 Denier The deck is an idea that was manifested. What is your strength? Chevalier de Batons It gets right to the point quickly. Your weakness? Le Batelevr But it’s not very intellectual. And it doesn’t dazzle. What can you teach me? Valet de Covpe The deck can teach me to be emotionally available. How can I learn it? IIII Epee By giving the overactive thoughts a rest. What will be the outcome of our work together? As de Covpe I will find a new love for unrefined Marseille decks (not really from Marseille). What is your most important characteristic? No lid has Memory - It’s a deck that sparks memories. What is your strength? Are Friends Delight or Pain? It has the power to explore concepts such as attachment and liberation. Your weakness? Few – love at all And it can be pessimistic about humanity. What can you teach me? A coward will remain, Sir, Until the fight is done; But an immortal hero Will take his hat and run. The deck can teach me to question conventional wisdom. And about true courage. How can I learn it? The Star’s whole secret – in the Lake – Eyes were not meant to know. By being open to the mystery. It’s not all going to make perfect sense, and that’s ok. What will be the outcome of our work together? It is too difficult a Grace – To justify the Dream – Like this quote, for example! The deck might be too cryptic for me to get much from it. Well, we’ll see!
Christina Posted May 5, 2025 Posted May 5, 2025 I'm back.....I'm in with Tarot of H'arts and Seasons of the Witch Litha Cards
Natural Mystic Guide Posted May 6, 2025 Posted May 6, 2025 Hello, I am still playing in the world of 'Lenono Fortune Telling Cards'.
Bodhiseed Posted May 6, 2025 Posted May 6, 2025 Thank you Fire cat! I'm in with the Mary-El Tarot paired with the OH Cards. Truth is what imposed order, law, justice, morality and balance upon primordial chaos. ―Marie White Justice is illustrated with Ma'at, the goddess of truth, justice, balance, and order. Things get out of balance because we think there some things/people more special and important than other things/people. But Ma'at asks us if the weight of our heart balances with the feather of Truth. Not our personal truth (opinions and beliefs), but the universal, capital 'T' one. Post and Line also brings up the idea of balance and adjustment - that line won't stay taut unless it's attached to another firmly grounded post. Likewise, justice must be balanced with mercy just as wisdom must be with compassion.
Libra 58 Posted May 7, 2025 Posted May 7, 2025 Monday card: Knave/Page of Pentacles. A boy is knocking on a big gate, he has two big gold rings in his other hand that he keeps behind his back. Someone is going to give me gold (money), a gift or very good news? Nothing of that sort occur. Tuesday card: The Sun. Two naked children playing/dancing in a maze, no entry and no gate way out that I can see. They must have climbed over the walls! Behind the maze that looks like a hub cap there is only a field, some trees and a road. In far distance there are som mountains. Not much to see! I really don´t know what this card is trying to tell me? It´s sunny and I shall be happy, try to play and do some funny things? I´m in no mood for that!

The kids seem to have climbed the hedges (or gone through them) to get to the center. The Sun (for me) often represents clarity, and the walls are what prevent me from seeing things clearly, such as my fixed ideas or things I've been told are true.
Libra 58 Posted May 7, 2025 Posted May 7, 2025 @Bodhiseed Thank you for your input, nice to know that someone else have seen this deck and maybe have worked with it also. The sun is almost always positive so I´m glad you talked about the walls, that makes sense to me now.
Natural Mystic Guide Posted May 10, 2025 Posted May 10, 2025 The 5-card reading in the Lenono system is very similar to the 3-card reading. It just provides a little more depth and information. The first two cards represent the past; the middle card is the present; and the last two cards are the future. We are encouraged to use a 6th card for greater clarity. This card is derived from adding the numbers of the top 5 cards: 2 + 9 + 7 + 20 + 15 reduces to 8. My question: Should I buy a luxury watch? I received a small amount of money from my mother’s estate and thought that having a watch like this would feel like a gift from my mother. Card No. 9 ‘The Scythe’ cuts the card before it ‘The Moon’ card No. 2 — a card fraught with uncertainty — like my relationship with my mother. Card No. 7 ‘The Snake’ can represent a third party and a not straight forward or unexpected situation. ‘The Cross’ card No. 20 stops the card before it. Card No. 15 ‘The Woman’ can represent the female client (myself) and what is on my mind or what is in front of me. This all seemed fairly vague. The bonus card: No. 8 represents a valuable piece of jewelry. So that settles it. I’m going to buy the watch.
Libra 58 Posted May 12, 2025 Posted May 12, 2025 Wednesday: 2 in Wands. A young woman (who is a ghost) is stepping through a closed door, you can only see half of her. She look like she is spying on something. Makes me think that whatever I´m looking for I have to think twice before I start digging into something. Maybe it´s not legal or putting my nose in something that´s not my business? Thursday: Judgement. A cliff is falling down and a lot of naked people is also falling (even Mr Devil is falling/flying with them). On the top of the cliff some people are lifting of/flying upward too the sky and are getting their wings on the way. No Angels around them. I think about yesterdays card and think that I have to choose wisely if this is how my ending will bee.. I´m I a good or a bad woman? It´s the little things that in the end will be the outcome, I think! Friday: 4 in Pentacles. A huge/gigantic woman is standing in front of a little gate and looking down on it, she has one hand up in the face like she´s thinking "how am I going to come through that little gate"? For me it´s like here I have no business. I´m not invited. I have to look for another way in. Saturday: 3 in Pentacles. A man is sitting working on decorating a door he has made. There are many other doors that he have made there in the room. He´s very skilled at his work. I think that I shall work with what I´m good at and don´t start with something new that I don´t know anything about. I have to slowly learn new things and don´t rush into something that maybe will cost me more than I´m prepared to pay. Sunday: Queen of Pentacles. A very beautiful queen is sitting on her throne and looks like she´s resting. By her feet there is a lot of cold coins and som jewellery. Behind her there is two little men looking at the gold. Are they pages/knaves for her or are they thieves? For me I think that I shall not rest to much because I don´t know what can hit me from behind. Always be prepared for bad things that comes without warning.
