Rose Lalonde Posted May 10 Posted May 10 (edited) The last decan of Taurus, a decan ruled by Saturn. Taurus 3, Part 1 at tabulamundi.com This entry includes the weight of Saturn, a last frost, the Litai, Apophis, plus good ways to cope with failure through how we prepare and how we respond. Part 2 Insights into this decan playing out in daily life and the garden. Telos Tarot of 777 and the Rosetta Tarot 7 of Pents/Disks Hierophant for Taurus The World/Universe for Saturn RWS King of Swords/Thoth Knight of Swords - (decans are Taurus 3, Gemini1, and Gemini 2) Not shown: The Empress - Venus for all of the 7s** Page/Princess of Disks for all of Spring (Aries, Taurus, & Gemini) Edited May 20 by Rose Lalonde
Rose Lalonde Posted May 11 Author Posted May 11 In addition to Telos Tarot of 777, I have the decks above out for this decan. Crowley refers to blighted crops for the Thoth 7D, and the background is "spoiled" vegetation. It goes well with what I was reading at tabulamundi.com -- Telos referring to a killing frost. Both deal with damage to food supply, and though we may take something that's gone bad in the back of the refrigerator as a slight inconvenience, this is the specter of no sustenance at all. Something that many deal with today, and everyone did, if we go back far enough. Tabulamundi.com refers to a possible spoiled potato crop in the RWS 7 of Pents. That would tie in nicely with the Thoth. I often see RWS readers refer to this card as pensive or a pause. SKT's "The Gardener" is Wen's own thing. There's no blight, and the accompanying book says this is inner gardening, and the possibility to work with "low" magic using herbs, stones, roots, oils and charms made of natural materials. -- A possible activity for this decan? Ballast has all the sevens as needing to triumph over adversity. Despite the shape of Saturn dominating the card, new shoots are trying to overcome the high possibility of failure. The young are targets of predators, fewer defences. A new court. Personally I consider this the least positive of the courts, since it matches the decans of Failure (7D), Interference(8S), and Cruelty(9S). I think often the cruelty is pointed inward. A personality that feels trapped. (Likely he's reading the news too often! Ask me how I know. 🙃) The Universe ruling the decan is interesting. Often we associate it with positive completion despite its Saturn correspondence. There's a weight to The Universe/World, but as the final major there's also a sense of arriving. (In the other direction, this is the first path in pathworking up the middle pillar, so, you know, you only need to travel the path of the Universe at the start, no pressure. 😜)

Just as the Queen of Cups is assigned to the decans she is equipped to handle. The reverse/shadow aspect would show how we can perpetuate or amplify the challenge: being fickle, inactive, and slaves to our thoughts. Edited May 11 by Ferrea

I'm a bit of a pessimist sometimes🙃, and egged on by the minors that share his decans. But you're right; he has an intensity and active nature that can be used to master these decans when properly focused. A good reminder for me, thanks.
Rose Lalonde Posted May 16 Author Posted May 16 So far this decan has been very busy, and the quick-turnaround deadlines for new projects -- that need to be done right -- gives me a bit of fear of Failure, though thankfully no flubs yet, knock wood. 🪵 I just keep ranking things in a priority list and working through them.
FindYourSovereignty Posted May 19 Posted May 19 This decan has been fascinating for me. There is so much movement in the air, yet, slow on the ground. I am surprised to see it coming to an end so quickly and I haven't even posted my picture. Which I did take earlier... 😜 Different electronic devices leave me going back and forth for posting images. I joyfully received 360 Degrees of Wisdom today (Thank you, @fire cat pickles!) i look forward to reading the degrees in this decan and to record my thoughts on all that has been experienced. Energetically, I feel I need some grounding because there are so many things happening around me and my focus is being pulled in too many directions.

Babalon Jones Posted May 19 Posted May 19 It sounds like you are experiencing the effects of the next decan, Gemini 1, which is all about being pulled in too many directions! That anticipation of the next thing happens to me a lot too, it is almost to be expected at this point. I'm Sagittarian and Aquarian mostly, so I always experience the future before it happens; maybe you do too? I too experienced this decan as being very busy, which I wrote about in the Part II post today. I attributed it though to where this decan falls in my own astro-chart. The critical degree of this decan is my nadir, so in Placidus Taurus 3 is my 3rd house. 3rd house has a Gemini flavor for everyone, as it is the 3rd sign. But in whole signs Taurus is my 4th house, and with the critical degree on the nadir it has 4th house flavor in either system. I experienced it both ways! There are apparently no lines in the sky, and no one rule to rule them all.

I do feel I experience the future before it happens and have been noticing this pattern a lot recently. This is my first decan walk and I wasn't aware of what Gemini 1 energy was about. 24 minutes ago, Babalon Jones said: I too experienced this decan as being very busy, which I wrote about in the Part II post today. The first 5 degrees of this decan is in my 8th house leaving the last 5 in my 9th. I enjoyed the additional details of the sign correspondences. I hope one day we'll get to see the finished mala from the Job's Tears grass. I started my second Saturn Return in January and interestingly, this decan is in my 11th house with Uranus at 23⁰. This is what I have been feeling so much of. Side note: I am really looking forward to the Telos Tarot book.
Rose Lalonde Posted May 20 Author Posted May 20 Added the Part 2 link to the top post. Today is one of the busiest days all year at work, so no time to say more yet, sadly.

I had quite a little update here about how this decan was went for me and it us now in the ethers. I believe it must not have been meant to be posted. That said, I will confirm that all of these energies appeared for me. All of them, not just individually, but in regards to certain events. Like in one conversation or one birthday celebration, etc. It has been very interesting to review these past ten days from this lens. Success evolves from investing in emotional security. Trusting and believing in what I sense I know where I belong in the future. My feelings and my beliefs create my thoughts And I receive the blueprints for the new WE-ality. Thinking about what I am feeling allows my senses to come through And I receive what I am meant to devote to. I trust. I surrender. I act in the cosmic flow of the moment. My new devotion is to materialize my heart's desires By navigating the unknown While BE-ing love in all ways. Edited May 23 by FindYourSovereignty

So glad you're enjoying the book! I'm delighted someone else is getting use out of it 🙂 I feel exactly the same way about this decan. I have been very busy, it was over so quickly, and yet it dragged by. I am struggling to put down in writing my experience in my journal entry!
