Rose Lalonde Posted July 8 Posted July 8 Tabulamundi quotes 777: "A beautiful woman wreathed with myrtle. She holds a lyre and sings songs of love and gladness." I've always loved myrtle trees. My mother was a fan. A random symbolism site says, "In Ancient mythology the Myrtle tree is sacred, especially to Aphrodite, Greek goddess of love and beauty. Myrtle trees were planted in Aphrodite’s temple gardens and she is often depicted with a Myrtle crown or wreath. For centuries, fragrant sprigs of Myrtle have been included in wedding bouquets" I'm feeling more myself now. 🙂 (The discomfort turned out to be a bruised rib as a result of bad coughing in the first few days.) The only good thing I can say about it is that my normal level of health feels amazing today, a real treat. Even though usually feeling like usual would be something I wouldn't notice. Status quo. Today I'm so grateful to feel fine that it's like the abundance and gladness of this card. 🤩
Rose Lalonde Posted July 13 Posted July 13 (edited) "The world is so empty if one thinks only of mountains, rivers & cities, but to know someone who thinks & feels with us, & who, though distant, is close to us in spirit, makes the earth for us an inhabited garden." — Goethe This is such a card of sharing, and Mercury moves fast, but I think I'm feeling more of Saturn slowing it down, between my long flu and the death of my husband's close friend. Still -- if I look at what I have, there's plenty to be grateful for. A stable home and community, and a loving partner, some friends I respect and admire. For me it's not until the 4s that we risk taking that love and support for granted. In the threes we appreciate what we have. Enough to share. For better or worse, this card seems to me to be about sharing locally or with those we're close to. There are other cards that better suit a universal sense of openness and navigating differences well. Edited July 13 by Rose Lalonde
