Bodhiseed Posted Monday at 01:57 PM Posted Monday at 01:57 PM (edited) Thank you Fire cat! Hope you're staying safe and cozy! I'm in this week with the Swietlistej Drogi (Tarot of the Radiant Path) paired with Mirrors of the Heart. Posted 5 minutes ago Swietlistej Drogi, Ace of Swords; Mirrors of the Heart, Openness Eloquence is a painting of the thoughts. —Blaise Pascal I've had teachers who were incredibly smart and well educated, yet they did not know how to explain ideas to others. That kind of teaching results in rote learning without understanding. But then I've also had teachers (and writers) who could paint a picture with their words, illustrating the most complex concepts. Those eloquent communicators are a treasure because they offer insight. Openness suggests that the responsibility is not just on the speaker, but also the listener. As Elena Brower expresses, "Asking more questions and practicing sitting quietly strips certainty away and allows a freshness to emerge, a bright curiosity. Concepts and narratives can fall away, we can venture out beyond self and other, beyond yes and no, dead and alive, right and wrong." Edited Monday at 01:59 PM by Bodhiseed

Mi-Shell Posted Monday at 02:32 PM Posted Monday at 02:32 PM Good Morning! After cold nights with - 36Centigrade we are emerging from mountains of snow. My deck of the week is aptly named "the Winterseer", created by Siolo Thompson.
Rachelcat Posted Monday at 09:01 PM Posted Monday at 09:01 PM Hi all! Hope everybody is staying warm and safe! This week for me will be Fairy Tale Fortune Cards, a fun lenormand from Cico Books. It has large cards with bright, graphic illustrations and interps on the cards (by Liz Dean). The book has a tale for each card. (I forgot all about the tales aspect even though it’s in the title . . .) This is another lenormand I had for years before I really knew what lenormand is (copyright 2012). The book has, along with some simple ones, a spread called “The Master Method,” that uses all the cards and has a specific position meaning for each of the 36 spread positions, but you only read the 8 cards (and positions?) surrounding the significator (Woman or Man, or Child maybe?). I’m definitely going to give that a try later this week! I’m feeling overwhelmed these days, so maybe this deck is the remedy by being as simple or complex as I want it to be. Let’s give it a whirl with a short interview! What is your strength? Snake It is good at pointing out deception and betrayal! Your weakness? Fox It focuses too much on deception and betrayal! Because fox can also mean cleverness and being good at one’s work. What can you teach me? Letter It can teach me to pay closer attention to my readings. What will be the outcome of our work together? Heart Even with the negative cards, I’ll love the deck and want to keep it near me. Ok then! We’ll see!

Libra 58 Posted Monday at 11:37 PM Posted Monday at 11:37 PM I´m in with Hanson - Roberts. Monday card was: The Sun.☀️ A white horse, a happy baby, sunflowers and a smiling sun, what can be wrong? Pain in the whole body, freezing cold wind, exhausted and I had to go out! I got everything that I needed to do done, so I´m happy!😄
Libra 58 Posted Tuesday at 09:57 PM Posted Tuesday at 09:57 PM Tuesdays card: 7 of Pentacles. A very tired man is leaning his body on a hoe. But I think he´s happy about what he has done for the day. My thoughts goes back to yesterday when I was out. I´m very tired today, my whole body is in pain, but are happy for what I manage to do yesterday. That means that I can rest today and enjoy in the future what I did.
Libra 58 Posted yesterday at 01:35 AM Posted yesterday at 01:35 AM Wednesdays card: 4 of Wands/ Rods. Two girls with flowers in their hands and a garland of flowers hanging over their heads, and a beautiful white castle in the background. Maybe something positive will happen, but not today!
Libra 58 Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago Thursday card was: Page of Swords. It says in LWB that it´s a boy but the card shows a girl in my eyes. Never mind! She/he stands outside with the sword ready to strike, but at what? Can´t see anything. It looks like winter and there is a big grey cloud over her/his head. Grey thoughts about the day? Waiting for something to happend? For me it was a calm day and I slept most of it!
