The Devil:

Laura Marling - My Manic and I.

I think this song definitely represents the darkest aspects of The Devil, with her addiction and inability to walk away.

(EDIT: Well phooey, I apparently can't share external links, probably because I'm new to the forums? Anyone who's interested, feel free to search for it on youtube. It's really a good song, Laura Marling has such a lovely voice.)

Hi, KatieKeene[/member] .  You've made more than five posts now, so you should be able to post links.  Try it again.

Thanks Night Shade[/member], looks like you're right!

I think this song definitely represents the darkest aspects of The Devil, with her addiction and inability to walk away. Might wanna watch it in the miniplayer, the quality of the video isn't great (Which could be purposeful? Not sure, since it's from her channel, could just be the vibe she was going for)

I arranged all of the 175 song suggestions in this thread per card here: https://tarot.takkfordet.com/songs/

Hope that's ok.

OK? It's phenomenal!  What a labor of love on your part and what fun for us.  I wonder in what way it is significant that so many cards are chosen multiple times and so many are not chosen at all?

Thank you for doing this, KaiNO.  Are you going to update your site as new entries pour in?  I have a feeling this thread will get more than the usual amount of interest as people discover your project.  I predict an effort to complete the deck!

(You made a few mistakes with mine, though.  I'll  PM you a list.)

Love, Grandma

Grandma[/member], a little bug unfortunately. Fixed now. Sorry!

My quickfix gave perhaps an unfamiliar order of the cards afterwards, I'll fix that later.

This was really cool of you, KaiNO[/member] .  Thank you! :bthanks:

But yes, Grandma[/member] and Night Shade[/member] I will update my site upon new entries (hopefully no more devil-songs). It would be fun if we could complete the deck, but there so many cards without a song yet...

I love this song, but I love this version even more:

Oh my god I just remembered a whole different song with the same name.

This is a better choice than my first selection.  The lyrics might be sung by the Devil himself!  And those gorgeous yummy Isley brothers, my my...  If I were 60 years younger I could really go for them.  Oh wait - I used to be 60 years younger and I did really go for them!

Their dancing is an example of why rock and roll is considered by the sexually repressed (who I'm sure don't use a lot of emojis ((inside joke hee hee, sorry...)) ) to be the Devil's music.

PS Not everyone who does not use emojis does not enjoy sex.

Speaking of sex, this is a great song, but I'm not sure what card it should go with:

Oh, that song belongs in the new (proposed) Songs about Sex thread.

That is a hilariously and alarmingly arousing video, Night Shade, and you are a complex little tarot reader indeed, aren't you?
