I'm thinking of drawing another hand concerning the folks next door.  Upon re-reading all of this and seeing it was in early December, well       

 

the night B4 Xmas, the next-doors were filmed tearing the outside camera off the 2nd-story wall of the tall house we were speaking of.  And it wasn't to keep it, it was to destroy him being able to film them.  But he showed me his film of the whole thing.  It's a mess, and my once quiet and fairly safe neighborhood is now turning into a growers paradise, as each house calcs new uses for their garages.  With PERMITS of course.  But my neighbors aren't permit kinds, and their wall fan (unless it's the grow lights?) in the shed has been sending out a vibration all night that is coming thru my bedroom wall.  i have literally lost it and called the stupid sheriff 3x's in one night!  I don't know where to start w the cards on this one!  I did do the pro-active thing and went over and explained their midnight doings were keeping me fm sleeping and they feigned concern.  So it has been quieter the last few nights, but that won't last I'm afraid.  From how soon will thy move?  🕓  to can I get away w poison?  and which kind? 😈

Thanks that was interesting and they're not far fm me.  Forestville is an old hippie enclave if I recall.

But what is working here, other than intention @katrinka?  Why does it matter about the exact prep unless you're already a true believer?  I've always felt voodoo et al doesn't work unless the target KNOWS you've cursed them and they already believe...or one can coerce them into believing.

 

 

And I wouldn't wish to curse someone's LIFE.  I would hope someday they'll wake the hell up!  Not wander aimlessly creating chaos and hurting others.  Who has the right to wish that shit? 

I want them outta here.  They're lying is indiscriminate.  I hope they move way out in the country (where there's wildfires haha), that being more the place where these uncivilized creatures belong or jail.

 

But they grew up w hells of abuse as kids, their pain is real, and they've never really "growed up" emotionally.  They're not JUST meth-heads, drinkers, theives and gen. idiots.  We used to have a fairly good neighbor policy.  He worked for me on several projects and did a mighty fine job every time.  She's an RN and took care of 2 elderly persons on our street.  It was far fm perfect fm the beginning, but then they started to relapse?? about 3 yrs ago.  Their kids don't even visit them any more.

So I don't wish a curse to follow them. 

Tho they may be wishing it on me and my other neighbor.

But something to drive them away before their lease is up in June?  Unless someone worse is waiting to move in behind them.  That unknown factor wd be a great reason for a card pull later on!

Sheriff's have the report and I've not seen a single car patrol out here.  "Out here" is 5 mins fm downtown btw.  Creeps have a police scanner and cameras of their own, plus a locked gate.  I've contacted the prop manager several times.  They did move the busted up trailer away, but a larger one has now replaced it.  That's how they roll now.  New "sanctuary laws" and the housing shortage mean just about anyone can park infront of your house and live there.  And the cops won't come out unless there drug-dealing going on or a high $ amt of thieving.  Under a $1000 (ie San Francisco) won't be taken seriously I read on Quora recently, and that is ONE THIEVING-A## CITY.  It's also still my favorite but haven't been there since 1999. lol.

 

I may ask the cards where my focus should go now.  Not sure if that question will be useful or not?  

I'll post as soon as I decide  🙂  but I have a sick cat and just lost my very first one last week (to that effing renal disease--now that's something I'd gladly curse to the hell-fires).

Okay Bastetly, as someone living in the US I thought you already knew this, but no. I read your other commentary, and yes Hot Foot is a severe curse indeed, it all depends if it is justified (with regard to Spirit/Universe) or not. Hoodoo isn't Voodoo (and not a religion but it has of course links with spirituality). 

One Time Christopher Warnock said that they curse at each corner! LOL, I thought he exaggerated a ton! Now I would say, hmm... possible. Actually there are one or two things I didn't understand completely about the US (and it is still the case!) 🙂

Okay, this is beyond this thread of course, let's focus on our dear cards!!

I don't know, but I suspect old traditions have momentum. The same way cards and their meanings work. 

That, and the essences. You wouldn't hotfoot somebody with sugar.

You'd have to do the spell that way to make them wander. Hotfoot their home, things like that. 

If you just want them to leave a place, it's different.

That I already knew what?  About hoo-doo stuff?  No, I've never looked into it.  O and sorry about conflating hoo-doo w voo-doo.  I just had to read up on the 2 just now.

 

Yes, so Let's do get back to the cards!  I meant to just give an update since our last reading together here, but one thought just led to another, and I needed to get some things off my chest. 

 

So I'm working on what question for the cards to post here.   However, If someone else would like to post a question, I would be happy to give it a go as well.  My cards are sitting right next to me and need some exercise!

( @Decan The sole connection I could find between Warnock and hoodoo is this astrology course. https://www.renaissanceastrology.com/astrologyforrootworkers.html He states that it does not teach hoodoo or rootwork. It's one astrology course out of many, probably planetary hours and whatnot that could be used with virtually any system.)

Hotfoot doesn't mean poisoning the feet. It refers to putting metaphorical heat on somebody's feet, getting them to go away quickly.
I've read that in Haitian Vodou, there are poisons that are laid on a walking surface, similar to the way Hotfoot is deployed, that do actually "poison the feet" - the toxins are absorbed through the skin. But hoodoo is not Vodou. It's just that both of these fall under the broad definition of "foot track magic."

Hotfooting alone, if you don't build the curses and wandering into the spell, is simply making them leave. Imagine if you had a sandbox in the yard for a small child, and the neighbor's cat kept coming over and using it for a toilet. You'd look for a way to repel the cat without harming it. You're not trying to poison the cat or make it run out in the highway and get killed, the cat is free to simply have a good life at home or elsewhere. You just don't want it in your kid's sandbox.

Am I dreaming, or did you post someplace that the drifter guy was not on the footage of the neighbors destroying the camera? The cards caught that. They said he wasn't the one to worry about. 

He does know them, yes. We all know horrible people that we have to rub elbows with at work and the like. It's survival. He's doing survival too, he just has to do it with trashier people because he doesn't have a job. And it's just easier to get along with people when you can, it doesn't mean you're real friends. 

While I wouldn't hire him to do any work on your property, I wouldn't be too quick to write him off. He might have some information you could use. That's one idea for a question, whether it would be beneficial to be on speaking terms with him. 

Another good question would be asking about the source of that crazy vibration. 

Asking about how to get the cops to get off their a**es is another one. You could ask about different strategies, whether they would be effective. One thing I've had success with is writing the paper or posting on the city's facebook page, in other words putting them on blast. You have to be careful how you present it - "our cops are useless" will get you ticketed at every turn, it's better to present it as the police being overburdened, something like that. 

And your neighbors are renting, am I correct? You could try contacting the landlord. You could also send inspectors over there - call in and say you smell gas or something. 

Any or all of these would be things to look into. Good luck.

What I refered to was a remark he made on his public facebook page one time (years ago!) but he didn't explain the context so I was just surprised but I didn't really know. He was a teacher for me in the past. Absolutely his approach and teachings (for the magic part) isn't hoodoo at all!

It's a little digression in the thread (sorry), but I know of course the reputation about "Lyon the secretive city", nevertheless now (like everywhere probably) things are really different from what they have been in the past. You would be probably very disappointed yourself. Reality is much more about ordinary incivility and violence.

Right! and the cards were right, tho the creepers tried to blame it on him.  They don't know the footage survived long enough to be viewed.

And yes!  I've determined after being invited to check their shed out myself and seeing nothing of concern, that it's probably something to do w PG&E and their high wires or work they've done recently in the area.  They're coming out here on Monday.  I think this would be an interesting thing to ask about.  You cannot hear it standing outside, so I need to be prepared when they tell me they don't hear anything....

Good ideas, in fact I'll try and get back on Nextdoor as well, but must be tactful.  There may even be a post about that humming sound, but they blocked me for trying to change my name.  I'm always doin that lol.

They've gotten quieter at night for the moment.  I just kept going over at 1AM and telling them they just woke me up!  Their property manager and I are in regular contact now.  The owner got tired of the complaints after he renewed their lease for another year (up in June).  I've got him driving by and taking pictures.  We'll see.  I'm sleep deprived.

Spread below btw.  So I went thru the whole deck twice bc many of these cards have similar eikons to the Lenormand, but very different meanings.  Drew 5 off the top.

1st try:

27 Jack in the Box (surprise), 45 Fate (the querent-me), 21 Box (gift), 8 Flowers & Butterflies (affection, kisses), 24 Tea Table (gossip)

 

Well!  My first thoughts are Surprise, it's fm your own (45) telephone (8 and 24) .......

The power pole is in my backyard where the flowers and butterflies live, and it secures the telephone and electric lines to my house.  It stands at the far end, away fm where I sleep (which is the loudest end).

A box isn't lines though.  The transformer perhaps?  Could be referring where I spend my time talking the most.  And the box I live in.

2 references to a box.  Box or bed??

Box or Gift is in the middle.  It's touching Me and the Flowers.  Surprise reflects off of Tea/gossip...wth?

(Not happy about the word "fate" being part of the spread lol.)  sigh  Not the cards I was expecting.

Yes. 


It's a "where?" question, and the cards tend to be quote literal with those, moreso than with other kinds of questions IME
The cards are kind of screaming "BOX!" with two of them there. 
I don't know a lot about wiring, but the jack in the box could mean a transformer or something is getting ready to blow? Nothing too dangerous, just POP.

Yes I love that the Querant card is drawing back the curtain for a surprise or maybe a Pop! like katrinka said. haha  It is getting longer and still keeping me disturbed...  Box may be the relevant thing here, tho I wonder about the whole spread.  Looks more like an answer for a dating question.

The transformer has been on my mind since I posted earlier.  Strange how it makes no sound when I am outside.  I wish it would just hurry it up! On Nextdoor, a neighbor said it could be my inside wiring getting old (worries) but I just can't read the last 2 cards into this, esp the Tea Table??    But yes the surprise and a "pop!" makes sense 🙂
