ashwsh Posted August 23, 2019 Posted August 23, 2019 (edited) Hi, I was studying the world card for my new deck ‘tarot for Everyday’ and I was just picking random cards, so one of the cards that caught my attention was the ‘world card’. The woman sits on a swing and looks outside, there is no wreathe or other objects that surround her. She does look content and relaxed (not sure happy). How would this be different from a RWS meaning of completion? Thoughts please attaching image and the meaning from the LWB Edited August 23, 2019 by ashwsh
Marigold Posted August 23, 2019 Posted August 23, 2019 Well to start with she's already seemed to have mastered the four elements. There's also a sign of the number four in the way she's crossing her legs (number four is a really solid number - difficult to topple and she's quite safe on her swing and has perfect balance.) She radiates confidence and satisfaction. She doesn't need to look happy. Contented is enough and she looks most content. Happiness is not something that usually lasts. She probably knows this by now. Contentment is usually more lasting and deep.
Raggydoll Posted August 23, 2019 Posted August 23, 2019 I think that the biggest difference between this deck and RWS is that this one isn’t what you’d call esoteric. There’s no occult tradition behind it and I find it more light and playful, but still not without depth or more difficult aspects. I agree with @Marigolds interpretation. It’s evident that the four elements are supporting her and that she is at ease, high in the sky. So she feels confident and free. The original guidebook for the Circo tarot has a few keywords to offer, but it really doesn’t elaborate on the intentions or the symbolism. I’m still sharing it in case it proves of interest to you.
ashwsh Posted August 23, 2019 Author Posted August 23, 2019 Thank you @Marigold and @Raggydoll for helping me understand the card better. The aspect of 4 elements is very interesting. I want to practice 1-on-1 readings, and inputs like this truly help convey the interpretation better.
