Squeaky Posted February 3, 2020 Posted February 3, 2020 @Symph & @Albadawn it's a Hierophant year for me, too! Which I'm super excited for. I've been seeking a spiritual community, some structure from which to hang my practices and be human with other human beings. I can see this year already just dumping that in my lap! I've started going to a church-ish thing (Center for Spiritual Living) that has regular Sunday services that are blowing my freaking mind, I just started a book club (Witches & Wine!) and my podcast host bought me a ticket to a huge podcasting convention in March! There are other things, too, that I'm realizing upon reflection, that warms my heart so damn much. Because those years of searching were lonely, disappointing, and incredibly disheartening. (Cults are bad, mmmmkay?)

I've had a bit of a miserable last year and tried my best to help myself, so I'm guessing this should be a good sign. Numerology wise, it could be a signifier of a spiritual change (especially with the HP link) which I can see happening.

Does it mean I'll be more intensely obsessed with something? With a quick search I found a site that states this for Devil as Year Card: "Your creative energy will literally boil over and you will be drawn to equally creative people and projects full of inspiration." That actually seems to have started happening, what with my participation in We Are One deck, after not having done any art or creative projects in years. Yes, that I welcome. That site also says "sexuality will become fun." Hell yeah, I welcome that, too!

Looks like this thread was first posted on my birthday (1/6) and it seems like a great place to start. 1 + 6 + 2+0+2+0 = 11 = 2. Justice and the High Priestess in a year of the Emperor makes sense to me. I'm coming out of a rough year and focusing on my career and personal development in 2020. I've had the Emperor come up in a couple readings lately in relation to my place of work, so maybe maybe altogether they represent working hard to deserve a promotion while also balancing my life with personal reflection and spiritual growth. I look forward to seeing what the year brings!

I hadn't gotten a deck until last summer though, so I haven't been actively participating the whole year, but this still feels like an about-year anniversary for me. I spent the first half of the year just lurking haha My card this year is Death! I'm very excited! I want change and transformation! I wanna let go to usher in the new! I totally didn't realize that the Emperor was overhanging this year, but that's funny as this will be the year I finally start on testosterone, as I am transgender. A card for "transformation" and a card for "masculinity". Seems pretty literal haha Anyway, happy new years everyone! Can't wait for another great year on this forum. Sometimes life gets overwhelming and I can't get online, but it's wonderful to be able to come back here and find home.

I am 'The Hanged Man' but have to also take 'The Empress' into consideration and all of this in a year of the Emperor..... oh oh oh!
