Nemia Posted April 28, 2020 Posted April 28, 2020 @Pen, wow, what a wonderful, amazing card! It's a goosepimple-card, it's so RIGHT. Chariot is sometimes difficult to understand - the element of movement and the element of absolute inner quiet - and here we have both.

Nemia Posted April 28, 2020 Posted April 28, 2020 Please add me to the reserve list - if necessary, I can take over another card.

MoonCoach Posted April 28, 2020 Posted April 28, 2020 Hi All. I apologize for waiting until the last minute - I subconsciously thrive on pressure and deadlines, which is crazy I realize but alas the idea had been gestating in my Heart all this Time. Seems to be par for the course since I'm doing The Moon, and the idea was actually about that - gestation of the Dreams. So, the actual Image has been shapeshifting on my graphic canvas...and it started at first only with the Uterus as the Sacred Vessel for all our Dreams - a type of Cosmic Womb, related to my own work as an Astrologer specializing in the lunar phases and Moon work. Anyways, even though I believe we are all Artists, I am not technically an Artist so I'm quite shy about my stuff. I have the concepts clearly in my Imagination, but execution is a bit rough. So, it's developed from the idea of the Cosmic Womb of the Goddess as Moon Mother in the 'form' of the Uterus, holding 13 Moons (as Dreams), only that upon the backdrop of Sarasota (Florida) ocean with a Sunset...to adding some 'creatures' birthed and hovering over the ocean of the Creational Field of Imagination still within their little bubbles. I've also added a Dreamcatcher over the Moon/Womb, but not sure whether to leave as an accent, or play it up over the entire image. Just hoping for some feedback - what looks better? I've already got the card description written out, although I will tweak it once I finalize the image. There is LOTS of meaning in the card, much based on my Sacred Work as MoonCoach™ and as Lunar PriestEss...I created MoonCoaching™, as well as Path of the Lunar Priest~Ess, so most of my work/creation/seminars are based on lunar astrologer and moon wisdom. So, the card will include meanings derived from my experiences facilitating my work during these past nearly 30 decades. I hope that it fits in with the general scope of the deck's theme. I'll attach here 3 different versions to see what advice y'all can give me...thank you!! Hmm, don't know how to attach it, since I am totally lost on using the forum, so here's where I uploaded it to a private page on my main website: https://mooncoach.wixsite.com/moon-coaching-org/key-18-the-moon-tarot Thank you! Silvia

Silvia Good to see you!! My favorite is the one to the right!
Grandma Posted April 28, 2020 Posted April 28, 2020 My favorite is the one on the left. The dream catcher suggests imagination and, well, dreaminess, that I associate with the Moon. Beautiful work!

I think that if the bubble with the turtle was raised up on the left card then that would be my favorite too! ETA: I think you also want to shrink the components down a little bit more so that nothing gets lost once the card is trimmed. If you lose all the background on the sides then that changes the card a bit, so its work considering tweaking that a bit @MoonCoach
KaiNO Posted April 28, 2020 Posted April 28, 2020 Well done! I also find the one to the left to be most intriguing 🙂 And I agree that the left bubble could be moved a bit upwards.

Re. raising the turtle though, it looks as though the images should be proportionally longer anyway - if I'm right you could lengthen that one and include the whole turtle. 1 minute ago, Raggydoll said: Yes the dream catcher is lovely. Pen Posted April 28, 2020 Posted April 28, 2020 (edited) Update: click on the image and the complete card will appear - the whole is not shown. The little turtle is all there in its bubble! Lovely! Edited April 28, 2020 by Pen
gregory Posted April 28, 2020 Posted April 28, 2020 I like the one on the left best too; it's the most balanced - definitely not the one in the middle, though. It seems a bit washed out.

geoxena Posted April 28, 2020 Posted April 28, 2020 (edited) An interesting take on the Moon card. I prefer the one on the right because the Dreamcatcher isn't as obvious (although you need more room around all of these for the printing bleed area that will get cut off - just make the central element of uterus and ovaries smaller). Also, the image of the moon itself in the center could be brighter and perhaps glowing. I think the printing process will dull it down and make it less prominent. I think the Dreamcatcher should be removed from the image, truthfully. I know that, although Dreamcatchers have been popular outside of Native American nations (originally the Ojibwe), most traditional Native Americans find it an undesirable form of cultural appropriation when Dreamcatchers or their representation are used by new age groups and other non-Native endeavors. I saw it on my phone and had to switch to my laptop just to see it larger. How do you paint horses so perfectly and realistic? Wow, simply beautiful.
MoonCoach Posted April 28, 2020 Posted April 28, 2020 Thank you all. I have no clue how to reply to each one of you - this forum structure is very new to me, so feeling a bit lost on the technology of it. Anyways, yes, my own fav is the one with the large Dreamcatcher (rather than smaller). The turtle in her bubble on the left is complete - if you click on the pictures, it will pop up (otherwise it looks cut off on your screen). I played around with it some more, and changed the hue on the background...it really pops out more with this color but not sure if it's too much...perhaps leave it more subtle as in the original background option? (Added it to the same link so here it is again but be sure to refresh the page to see the new additions): https://mooncoach.wixsite.com/moon-coaching-org Also, do we sign it? Do we add the card title, or is that something that will be done evenly at the end? Thank you again for your feedback. Here's

I used the horses on Boadicea's chariot on Westminster bridge as reference, but made them rear up a bit higher. It would have been difficult to draw them without any help.
