I learned of this deck, Telos Tarot of 777 by M.M Meleen, being launched from someone in the forum. In case others are interested, I am sharing the link.

Pledged for the Telos Tarot just now. Glad it's already funded. 🙂

Lovely deck. Interesting that she used astrological timing.

They posted a thread about it in the promotions section, if anyone is interested -

It's already funded (3x the goal already!) and it ends on the 2nd of July

I have the first edition of this deck and I like it quite a bit. Here is a chance to get it at half the price I paid. She also has She Wolfe and Serpentfire available as add-ons or in a group pledge level.

😁 I backed it, too. And I don’t need a second copy, but I want the other decks.

I miss you, Rodney! Hope all is going well.

Road to echilibrium, kickstarter:

What do you think of it? (BTW only 22 hours left, or maybe less in your country). I can't decide!!!

Certainly different, and seems of quality art. But First Created / 0 Backed is a deal breaker for me.  I got burned on the Lunar Fire tarot and will not play ball with amateur / new kids on the Kickstarter playground again.

It sounds like this is the artist's second deck, though. Under Add-ons there's a link to her first one.

I like the art for Road to Equilibrium. It feels like a cousin of the Deviant Moon.

That is a good way to describe the style yes. And also nice to know it is not a first attempt overall. Post more pics if you pledge when it arrives please.

The Mystical Tarot of the Saints (released last year) by Psychic Nathe and illustrated by Cristina Scagliotti, now has a limited edition deluxe version on Kickstarter -

Any time. There are a good few on KS at the moment that I could also assist with if you like !

Kickstarter posted in the promotions area by a member, a tarot with vintage circus aesthetics -

Ends on the 21st December

A few weeks ago Lo Scarabeo sent an email announcing their release of the Frazetta Fantasy Tarot. Today, they shared the actual date when it will launch on Kickstarter.

First off, I’m excited about this deck since I’m all for boobs and muscles—and artwork created by people who have truly mastered their craft.

Additionally, I think these aesthetics reflect aspects of the upcoming Neptune ingress into Aries: the idealisation of raw, uncivilised masculinity.

There has been another Frank Frazetta Tarot quite recently on KS.

On another note, I’m a bit confused about an established company running a Kickstarter campaign (and I see it’s not their first). I thought Kickstarter was for folks without the capital to fund their projects.

But I suppose it’s a great sales accelerator?

I’ve been considering doing a depth year in 2025—simply not buying any decks. But I guess this one will be an exception. We'll se how many exceptions I'll make.

They seem to be launching many of the decks this way, I think it's a PR thing, they say "something new is coming", then flag a link is coming and then start the Kickstarter! They are always well funded and you get the deck. They used to do special edition books and decks by KS in the past. I wonder if it drives up more interest then it just appearing on a release date in shops and online stores. I remember members would post links to the tarot publisher catalogues for the next year around this time of year in threads here. It was exciting to have all the digital catalogues in one place to look through. I am not sure they even do that anymore, members haven't posted them here for ages. So maybe it's a good way of marketing and getting interest now 🙂 .

I got last year's catalogue from a link here... Just a sec....

Here you go: 2025.

I think they rather enjoy dreaming up addons for the KS ones. I wish they wouldn't actually - I would love to back KS projects with a link for "back with no stretch goals".

Ferrea Thanks for sharing this kickstarter deck is gorgeous. Definitely going to be spending some money this year on some new decks.

It's a Mantegna. A very pretty one!
The downside is that it doesn't look like a deck that can be read easily. If I asked if my utility bill was going to be under $200 and I got Prima Causa, Geometry, and Genius of the Sun, I might think "Uhhh, they look like good cards." But most of the cards in the deck are positive. It's not balanced, so it might not work for everyday questions like that. But you could cook up creative ways to use it. Maybe flip cards until you get a Conditions of Man card when asking about your next job, things like that. I enlarged the images enough to read the text. It's quite blurry when you do that, but the gist of it looks OK. I'd suggest getting the book too if you end up getting the deck.

So short answer: It's a 'no' from me unless A) You buy decks just to look at, or B) You're willing to put a lot of time and effort into getting it to work for you.

What Katrinka said. I have considered reproducing this deck, but ultimately I decided that it wasn’t a fit for my style and that it did not feel very readable (to me).

Thank you both very much. I really appreciate this insight and your perspectives. I will not be backing the deck. I have enough decks right now that I want to spend my time learning and adding yet another feel good system isn't supportive.
