Back with the In-Between Tarot again this week - will this hamster wheel every slow down?  LOL.

I would like to work with the TaRat Tarot this week.

I'm in with the Tarot of Durer paired with the Philosopher's Stone deck. Thanks VG - hope you get off that hamster wheel soon!💚

Ok, if I continue with The Playing Card Oracles?

Thank you for the thread, VG 🐣🐣🐣

I'm in with the Antique Anatomy Tarot and Oracle of Oddities.

I did a deck interview with the TaRat. I think this is going to be my primary goal for these weekly deck outings: an interview spread. Any other work I do with them during the week will just be icing on the cake. 🙂

For me this week it is the Archeon Tarot. Less for readings as for studying the cards.

Trevisan's Crystal Tarot for me, thank you VG

She switched the elements around as some do...swords being water. Scratches head. Cups are air...but Thothy, love that.

Yeah but you can just ignore the switch, I do, too 😀

these are interesting times we live in...!

I'm in the mood for my favorite, the Mary-El.

And I've picked the Everyday Witch as my oracle for the week.

Happy reading!

Edmund Dulac Tarot arrived today and I'm switching to it. I couldn't keep my attention on my choice this week anyway. We just didn't get along this outing.

So now I am in love. (I knew Edmund Dulac wouldn't let me down.)

@53rdspirit The coherence between art and tarot is pretty terrific, too.

I started turning over pairs last night and stopped when the 10 of Cups turned up with the 10 of Coins. At first glance, they look a lot alike, but the feeling I get from them is different.

In the 10 of Cups -- all that matters is our love (it's us against the world).

In the 10 of Coins -- thankfully, we have all this (and each other).

I have to share this pair...

This week I'll be using the Tarot of Durer, created by Manfredi Toraldo and Giacinto Gaudenzi and published by Lo Scarabeo. The oracle deck I'll also be using is the Philosopher's Stone, created by De Es and published by AG Muller. Today's draws are the Four of Chalices and Connection:

four%2Bcups.jpgconnection_0002.jpg

How easily the human eye focuses on the dark cloud and broken eggshell while dismissing the newly hatched dove inside its protective circle. We are biologically geared to look for threats, but what serves our sanity and well-being is the effort to look for joy and what is good as well. The Connection card points out that we can turn on each other in times of struggle and hardship or we can remember our interconnection and offer aid where we can. As the Dalai Lama stated, "It is under the greatest adversity that there exists the greatest potential for doing good, both for oneself and others."

😞

All my readings this week reflect the dire situation we are in. 😞

Well maybe my reading for today will lift your spirits, @Mi-Shell 🤎

From the Tarot of Durer, the Nine of Batons; from the Philosopher's Stone, Contribution:

9batons.jpgcontribution.jpg

Be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle. — Plato

The traditional Nine of Wands tends to be interpreted as finding a reserve of energy in order to persevere, yet this card feels different. The fellow here appears to be lighting a bonfire, suggesting he is signaling others who are lost or weary too. When we are in dire straits or deep anguish, the world seems to go on spinning as if everyone else has no cares at all. But dig a little deeper, as Plato encourages, and we will find folks who are dealing with heavy burdens as well. The Contribution card gives the impression of aid given - a task often perceived as impossible and unfair when we are dealing with our own struggles. But reaching out in any small way can create connections, and connections can create a feeling of support and belonging. Those felt perceptions can be healing and beneficial on both sides, whether given or received.

Thank you, @Bodhiseed! ♥♥!

Yes, we are all dealing with heavy burdens......

♥ for all!

My reading today:

Archeon Tarot - Just the quotes for each of the cards -

Today: Herald of Swords: "The herald appeared before them, a harbinger of doom"

Challenges: Wheel of fortune: "The only sure thing about luck is, that it will change"

Outcome: 5 of cups: "The Cup of Sorrow spills its tears upon the ground"

Yes, C 19 is the harbinger of doom for our business. All shows are canceled,The Farmer's Market is canceled and so there will be no income for us for the foreseeable future.

Luck: The wheel has not yet decided, if we will get lucky and Peter will be able to fly back home on Monday and if and where he will have to go into quarantine and for how long..... if he does not, he could bring the virus home as a little present to me 😞 .....

The cup of Sorrow reflects the fact, that Peter will not see his mother alive again, and will leave with the curse words her befuddled mind makes her spit out and the scratches of her arthritic hands on his arms, face and in his soul.......

Dementia in a parent is a heavy burden of the heart. 💓 May Peter arrive home in good health. 📿

My meditations on the Archeon are in my journal... it will take a while, I am about half through the majors only.
