Havutar Posted May 5, 2020 Posted May 5, 2020 Hello, nice to meet you, and greetings from the North! I originally got interested in tarot in - maybe highschool? My first deck was an "introduction to tarot" set containing a small guidebook and a deck with woodcut-like images I bought in London back in the early '00s, but I never warmed up to that deck. Later I found a german-language RWS in a flea market, dabbled enthusiastically with it for years and even tried to paint a tarot deck of my own with watercolors (I think I got halfway through the majors), but eventually drifted off for several years - till about early 2019, when I found my old decks and resources that were better than my old books, something clicked, and the enthusiasm returned stronger than ever. I made the account in January, promptly after finding my way to this forum, in order to participate in the awesome communal deck project We Are One. Naturally I then got promptly distracted by a cluster of serious life things (tm) happening, but thankfully remembered the project just in time and got my submission in! I'm thrilled to be able to be a part of the WAO project, and this forum too. I hope to hang around more than I've done till now, heh. I look forward to discussing tarot with everyone! (English isn't my first language, so please forgive any mistakes.) -Havutar

Thank you very much! I was thinking about posting a preview in the wip thread, but apparently had too low a post count to be able to post images. I might try again soon now that I might have enough posts under my belt. I've been lurking the wip thread, and everyone has really nice cards, and it's amazing to see all the different interpretations. Your ace of fire for example had a really new take, that nevertheless makes great sense. Impressive!

Thank you, and sorry again to have gone MIA for a couple of months and cause extra stress. I'm really happy I didn't obliviously miss the deadline - I learned a lot through making my card. Really inspiring! Thank you for arranging the whole production! (Also taking this opportunity to test the @Raggydoll thing)
