Any more Book Club plans?

I was wondering if there were any more Book Club plans in the making?  I've noticed it's gone a bit quiet here since the last book was finished.

I'd be particularly interested in discussing fiction or poetry if anyone else has an interest for that?

I would love to join in. I have varied tastes. Why don't we both offer up three books and agree on something. I would love to do this. Classic or recent makes no difference for me.

I think it'll be wise to see if the original book club members have any plans first, but yes, otherwise that sounds a great idea!

I also have reasonably varied tastes although, I admit that I won't be able to make it through a horror or thriller because I tend to get vivid nightmares from them!  (But I won't stop other people discussing them!)

I will look at the plans.

And I am not clamoring to read any horror stories or thrillers recently. LOL

I just read the overview. It can be anything.

The first choice was Jung. I would not reread any Jung at this point. There are way better psychology books out there.

I totally appreciate if that is what people want to read together.

I was looking for a place to post the question of what people are reading right now and came across this! Not sure if I should continue on this thread or create a separate one... anyhow...

I'm half way through reading "The Power of Myth" by Joseph Campbell. I'm finding it really interesting so far and appreciate how he articulates many of the ideas and concepts talked about. I love it when you've been pondering a thought/s, and then the perfect prose meets that conversation in your head.

I'm an avid reader, but I haven't read fiction in a long time - too much to learn and not enough time! I keep my fiction to bad 90s action movies. 🤣

@RavenOfSummer and @AfternoonTarot, you are the main people I think I remember instigating the book club!  Do you have any plans coming up or are you happy for us to perhaps select a fiction book to discuss?

In the meantime, can I perhaps suggest as Jenny did above that we each select TWO books we might like to discuss here and in a few days, we'll take a vote on it.  Ideally it would be a book that is likely easily obtainable at this time (so kindle/ebook versions, likely to be available in online ebook libraries etc.).

Book club going to restart? I’m pretty much open to any book besides nonfiction. I find it dull 😅

I'd be interested in a book club that reads tarot or magic books.  Things like the Janet Boyer's Naked Tarot or Theresa Reed's Tarot:  No Questions Asked... or Manly P. Hall's Magic:  A Treatise on Natural Occultism.  These are just suggestions.

Hi @TheThumbPuppy.  Many thanks for responding to my message and thanks for the invite.

I'm gonna say "No" for now as I'm not willing to put that much of my energy into studying the Sola Busca at this time.  I hope it goes great for you all.
