HOROSCOPES | Astrology & TAROT • August
Alchemia_Auri_Tarot posted a blog entry in ALCHEMICAL DIVINATIONSUploading Attachment... Aries • 6 of Pentacles | Reversed Elemental Ruler • Earth Astrological Correspondence • Moon in Taurus In Astrology, the Moon is considered a planet that rules our emotional wellbeing. This specific Tarot Card has the Astrological Correspondence of the Moon transiting the constellation Taurus. Taurus speaks to financials, personal values, and self worth. Research shows that doing acts of kindness for others bolsters feelings of happiness and joy. This pairs nicely with the 6 of Pentacles being a card of generosity and philanthropy. This is an invitation to give solely for the act of giving. Give from a place of no expectation, no reward, and no return. You may want to even sweeten the deal by being anonymous. The Great Work : Be a conduit for miracles. Taurus • 4 of Swords | Reversed Elemental Ruler • Air Astrological Correspondence • Jupiter in Libra Carving out some time for solitude and to retreat from external influences has profound far reaching effects. We are constantly being inundated with content, agendas, and persuasion. This is an optimal time to reset your mind, body, and spirit. Aim to seek alignment internally. A digital detox may be the perfect remedy to come back to center and cleanse your mental realms. Upon reintegration, you will most likely find a renewed sense of meaningful connection and a deeper capacity to hold space for others. The Great Work : Restoration. Gemini • 5 of Wands Elemental Ruler • Fire Astrological Correspondence • Saturn in Leo Saturn takes about 29.5 years to orbit the Sun, which means that it spends about 2.5 years transiting each sign within the zodiac. When Saturn makes its way into Leo, we see collective themes involving the Ego or individuation. Since Saturn and the Sun (the ruling “planet of Leo”) are opposing forces, conflict is born. Conflict is such a fascinating character study. We can witness deep shadow states that lay dormant in the psyche of ourselves and others that reveal themselves in an instant given a catalyst. The Great Work : Cast the light of awareness on your patterning around conflict. Meet dissention with curiosity, perspective, and lay down the need to be right. Cancer • 10 of Cups | Reversed Elemental Ruler • Water Astrological Correspondence • Mars in Pisces This is an invitation to honor yourself deeply. This is an invitation to be seen by yourself, for yourself. This is an invitation to be courageous. This is an invitation to be vulnerable and to bear witness to your emotional world. Recite the chant out loud 108 times while looking at your eyes directly in the mirror. Hold eye contact with yourself throughout the duration of the practice. This Hawaiian ritual is a profound practice of reconciliation and has the power to trigger deep releases in the emotional body. It should be done in solitude with the utmost care and reverence. Ho'oponopono Prayer “I’m sorry. Please forgive me. Thank you. I love you.” The Great Work : Let yourself heal by experiencing the work, not just reading it. Leo • The Hanged Man Elemental Ruler • Water Astrological Correspondence • Neptune Allow yourself to pause, soften, and reflect. According to Albert Einstein, “No problem can be solved from the same level of consciousness that created it.” This is an opportunity to awaken to a new possibility. You can use any entry point as a portal for illuminating awareness. Confirmation bias is the tendency to search for, interpret, favor, and recall information that supports our beliefs. This is done while rejecting contradictory evidence. This is a human condition that we all face, however the practice of awareness begins to untangle these mental webs and awaken our consciousness. The Great Work : Challenge your ego. Virgo • 5 of Cups Elemental Ruler • Water Astrological Correspondence • Mars in Scorpio The astrological correspondence of Mars in Scorpio to this card suggests transformative action wants to come through at this time. The planet Mars is yang. This is where our drive and command come from. This paired with Scorpio has the potential for profound transformation specifically in the realm of deep seated grief and emotional holding patterns. The Great Work : Feel it to heal it. ***For those of you interested in a deep dive, somatic therapy explores how the body expresses traumatic experiences, applying mind-body healing to aid with recovery. It’s a profound healing practice with far reaching effects! *** Libra • Queen of Pentacles | Reversed Elemental Ruler • Earth Astrological Correspondence • Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn The Breakthrough is on the other side of the work you’re avoiding. The Great Work : Act. Take the first step. Scorpio • 3 of Pentacles | Reversed Elemental Ruler • Earth Astrological Correspondence • Mars in Capricorn Teaming up with a group towards a shared vision has the potential to transform the mundane and lend some inspirational fire toward the cause. Every member contributes their energy in the great weaving of it all. This month brings much promise to collaborations with others and elevating group synergy if you are willing to be adaptable and relinquish control. Sagittarius • 8 of Wands | Reversed Elemental Ruler • Fire Astrological Correspondence • Mercury in Sagittarius The Pitta constitution comes from a lineage out of India called Ayurveda. This particular Dosha, which is governed by Fire, is the energetic propensity of Sagittarius. As a fire sign, the Agni or digestive fire and vital force run hot. When out of balance, you most likely fall into cycles of overdoing, which can lead to burnout and exhaustion. This card has the astrological correspondence of Mercury in your sign, Sagittarius. So, I’m feeling that a cerebral reset could be the perfect remedy this month. Mercury governs the mental realms of how we think, listen, and communicate. Working with the breath tonifies the nervous system and relaxes the mind, reduces stress, and improves focus. The Great Work : Pranayama Technique - Breathwork https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oN8xV3Kb5-Q Capricorn • The Tower | Reversed Elemental Ruler • Fire Astrological Correspondence • Mars The Great Work : Aquarius • The Magician | Reversed Elemental Ruler • Air Astrological Correspondence • Mercury This is a card of infinite human potential and your profound innate capacity. You are the solution to all of our challenges. You are key to your lock. The mind houses your belief system and ultimately rules your life. You are always in a cycle of manifestation, conjuring things into your life experience based on internal beliefs you hold as truth. The Universe responds to the energy you emit, not necessarily to our wants and desires. Your frequency is entrained with your mental landscape. Mind becomes matter ; it’s a powerful tool to sharpen, direct, and utilize. "Whether you think you can, or you think you can't, you're right.” - Henry Ford The Great Work : Direct your energy with conscious intention towards what you wish to manifest. Become a vibrational match to that which you desire. Pisces • 6 of Cups | Reversed Elemental Ruler • Water Astrological Correspondence • Sun in Scorpio This is an invitation to revisit the past and dig into your youth. Those formative years deeply impress into the psyche and we infuse the past into the present each time we reinstate those learned behaviors. The sun’s luminous rays have the power to shine the light of awareness on these psychological holding patterns. The Great Work : Make the unconscious conscious. -
The Sun and The Moon: Art Inspired by the Celestial - an exhibition at the Saatchi Gallery

What's The Postman Bringing? Part 2
Rose Lalonde replied to DanielJUK's topic in Tarot DecksPlease, no one report/arrest me 🚨☠️ but I read with mine in pretty much the same way I do my Thoth. Just with more about who's facing who/repeating colors. No rush of course. You could do it months from now, and I'd still be impressed with all you do for the forum. -
The Sun and The Moon: Art Inspired by the Celestial - an exhibition at the Saatchi Gallery
KiMo posted a topic in Tarot Talk & TechniqueHopefully I'm posting this in the correct area, tarot does feature in this exhibition, along with plenty of tarot adjacent subjects! This is a PSA for any folk living in, around, or within travelling distance of London. I visited the Saatchi Gallery today to see the exhibition above, and it was fantastic. There's so much to see, and it covers all sorts of interesting subjects such as mythology, folklore, esotericism, science, science fiction... Even my daughter had her attention held for well over an hour, which is saying something! Absolutely well worth the trip and the entrance fee. Link to the exhibition website is here -

Cooper & Fry - British crime series with tarot in the plot!
gregory replied to Raggydoll's topic in Tarot in MediaA bit of flexibility would make this place a lot more appealing. Time enough to mod if anyone complains - which as far as I know nobody has. But the PM discussion is now set up. Anyone who wants to joins us - PM me. -
Cooper & Fry - British crime series with tarot in the plot!
Raggydoll replied to Raggydoll's topic in Tarot in MediaI have a solution for this problem. We will start a group PM thread for everyone who have participated in this discussion, and there we can carry on the conversation freely, discussing all sorts of tv series and what not 😊 It will be arranged shortly! And now the thread can return to revolve around the Cooper & Fry series only 🙂 -
Cooper & Fry - British crime series with tarot in the plot!
joy replied to Raggydoll's topic in Tarot in MediaIt was discussed a very long time ago to move the Catter Area to the subscriber area. Why having rules if we start bending then as we please? Where do we draw the line? You see @gregory that would make our work as mods even more difficult. Thanks for your understand and cooperation. -

Cooper & Fry - British crime series with tarot in the plot!
gregory replied to Raggydoll's topic in Tarot in MediaIn which case it's dead in the water till next year. Shame. You know we can't do that in the off-topic section and keep all the posters in this thread. One way to keep as many people as possible enjoying the forum is to allow a bit of leeway; more people might be encouraged to subscribe. -
Cooper & Fry - British crime series with tarot in the plot!
DanielJUK replied to Raggydoll's topic in Tarot in MediaUnfortunately, as per the rules, the free areas of the forum are for tarot and divination discussion. That's the reason for the community. It seems fair to fund the tarot community by having the off-topic discussions behind a paywall. We can make a thread discussing fave detective series in the off-topic section. Let's get this thread back to the topic in hand -

Cooper & Fry - British crime series with tarot in the plot!
Raggydoll replied to Raggydoll's topic in Tarot in MediaI think it would be lovely if the discussion around favorite detective series could continue on somehow, I got really nostalgic seeing what Geoxena wrote and was going to chime in! -
Cooper & Fry - British crime series with tarot in the plot!
gregory replied to Raggydoll's topic in Tarot in MediaI think rigorous modding for often has the unwanted effect of killing a thread.... and as the thread you suggest is in subscriber only, it rules out people who might have valuable insights here as it progresses; we do get a new season next year, -
Spiritual Awakening?
Tanga replied to auoto's topic in IntroductionsWhen the cards became "Tarot" as we know it now - they were deliberately designed for this purpose: "Etteilla (born Jean-Baptiste Alliette, 1738–1791) was a pioneering French occultist who became occultist who became the first professional tarot reader in history to make a living through card divination. His pseudonym is simply his actual surname, Alliette, spelled backward. Key Contributions to Tarot First Divination Deck: He designed and released one of the earliest specialized tarot decks tailored specifically for occult and divinatory purposes rather than gaming. Spreads and Reversals: He originated systematic card layouts (spreads) and introduced distinct meanings for reversed (upside-down) cards. Astrological Links: He connected the tarot to astrology, the four elements, and ancient Egyptian philosophy (believing the cards originated as the mythical Book of Thoth). Published Guides: He wrote popular instructional manuals explaining how to read cartomancy and tarot, helping popularize the practice for the general public." Welcome! -

DanielJUK replied to Scozz's topic in IntroductionsWelcome @Scozz Glad you found us here from Australia Please join in existing discussions (it's fine here to post in old threads) or start new ones with your questions, things you want to know. When you get to 5 posts around the forum, you get more freedom in posting and also can access the reading areas, if you would like to get or give a reading. We also have monthly exchanges where we all read for each other. Also at that point, you can take out a journal thread if you want to record notes / your readings / use however you want. If you have any problems around the forum or need any help, just post in the thread here. We are a friendly community 😀 -

Hello from Melbourne, Australia
Scozz posted a topic in IntroductionsI'm a 49 yr old Tarot beginner who's keen on learning the ropes and understadning this space. I've come at this sideways and I'm trying to understand the practice properly. I'm here to learn mostly about reading methods, alternative spreads, card and spread meaning/intention. I have bought the New Earth Tarot deck and handbook from Kate Silver (round cards) which I'm truely loving. I'm doing a rough 3 card spread at the start of eack week atm and recording these in a log. Thanks in advance for any help anyone can offer me. I'm really glad to be here. Cheers, Corey

Glitches in the new version of the forum
KaiNO replied to gregory's topic in Technical Forum AssistanceBefore the upgrade, it was possible to choose a specific theme where you then could choose color for the top and bottom of the website. For me, TT&M is purple/violet, and I miss my color every day 😳 Is it possible to get this back? It's probably a plugin in Invision that needs to be updated. I don't remember which theme that did this, whether it was Uniform, Chameleon or Vanilla. -
