Hello all, I'm an old fool from NYC. Tarot found me five years ago. I see tarot as a creative catalyst for active imagination, resonating with and illuminating along archetypal, Jungian correspondences. I try not to get lost in the sauce of tarot for its own sake. The sacred surrounds all and tarot can help align us intentionality with love, compassion, wonder and gratitude. Tarot can help us be our best selves as healthy, positive cells in the lifeblood of our common soul.

Hi, @Crystalsandcards Welcome to the forum! You say you've been studying for the past 7 months or so. Is that tarot you've been studying? Maybe crystals as well? Is there anything in particular you wanted to 'find' here on the forum? The setup can be a bit intimidating at first, although...fear not! ...the folks here are very kind and helpful. BTW, I'm also in the UK ...Scotland. So we're in the same time zone.

Welcome and good luck! I know next to nothing about Essex, except for the alleged descent from the Old Norse/Anglo-Saxon god Seaxneat, the activity of St. Cedd and the alleged prevalence of chavs. Old county Essex was eaten by Greater London in the last few generations, wasn't it?

Thank you for the clarification! English isn't my first language either, and I can see the familiar situation when an English word resembles a word one is more familiar with, but with another sense.
Nor am I, and I am fully paid up. I go to "all clubs" and see a total of four. This is exactly the kind of thing that says to me - please leave things as they are,
I recently tried the Celtic cross in my last class however as a newbie recalling these positions is quite daunting. I have in my basket a table cloth with the Celtic cross i will try for practice. Are there any other mats or cloths with different spreads available as a tool to get confidence?
Hi all, i am candys joined today looking for people to practice with. i have been learning around 7 months in a monthly in person class. I am unsure how this will work online so i need a helping hand where to check next.
Hi Everyone! I'm Jessie from the Pacific Northwest US. I bought my first real tarot deck, Tarot of the Spirit, in 1995 when I was 21, although I've been dabbling in cartomancy since middle school. I was a pretty active collector from around 1999-2009, before I had a kid and a mortgage and found myself with neither the spare cash nor the spare time to keep that up. I'm much more selective these days, with a preference for colorful and nature-based decks. I enjoyed keeping up with world of tarot on Insta, Tarot Tube, and reddit.
