Hi, Finally got around to saying hello, but here I am now! (Some of you may remember me as Simone from AT) I have been missing a place where I can offer readings, discuss Tarot and other tools, where others know what I am talking about. I have been away from cards for way too long, and then I started searching around, got dragged into Discord servers where I tried offering readings but got just about no feedback or comments on my reading style rather than the reading itself (yes, I seem to have good "bedside manners" as a reader, but that isn't helpful to find out whether the reading made any sense...) So I am hopeful that I'll find my "family" here, and I am lookin…

I'm a 49 yr old Tarot beginner who's keen on learning the ropes and understadning this space. I've come at this sideways and I'm trying to understand the practice properly. I'm here to learn mostly about reading methods, alternative spreads, card and spread meaning/intention. I have bought the New Earth Tarot deck and handbook from Kate Silver (round cards) which I'm truely loving. I'm doing a rough 3 card spread at the start of eack week atm and recording these in a log. Thanks in advance for any help anyone can offer me. I'm really glad to be here. Cheers, Corey

Hello all, I found a tarot deck in New Orleans about 3 months ago in a little shoppe. I knew nothing about it before then. I have done a daily reading ever since. I am a little tripped out about the quickness in which I have found myself opening my mind. I am currently working with a spiritual advisor that has a PhD in Jungian Psychology. I have been open to the idea of collective unconscious but this is the first time iI have really dived in. A little freaked out tbh. Curious if anyone had any spiritual awakenings like this...

Good evening, My name is Andy B., and after a rather prolonged absence owing to personal circumstances and a spell of ill health, I am very pleased to find myself returning once more. My principal interests lie in the esoteric arts—particularly tarot (with a fondness for the Marseille, BOTA, Rider–Waite–Smith, and Thomson Leng traditions), as well as Lenormand, palmistry, Belline, and traditional astrology (Hellenistic to Renaissance). In former years I had the privilege of teaching, though I am now comfortably retired. I very much look forward to reacquainting myself with the forum, engaging in thoughtful discussion, and observing the …

I hope someone read that in Obi-Wan Kenobi's voice. My username actually comes from a time when I was falsely accused of cheating in a video game and got banned for "video game witchcraft." I since decided to reclaim the word, I guess. Just wanted to clarify that rather than accidentally come across as a poseur lol. The reason I joined was to hopefully learn more about tarot... I only have one deck, an anime themed one by Natasha Yglesias. Yeah, I like anime and was introduced to tarot by the Persona games series. Generally speaking, I've always had an openness to "mysticism" or "spirituality" whichever people prefer. Even though I've h…

Hello. I am a new member of this forum. I have been interested in tarot for some time, and recently I purchased my first deck. By the way, it's the Aleister Crowley Thoth Tarot deck. I got staggering results from my very first reading. I'm excited. And I'm very interested in esotericism. I think that soon I will become more knowledgeable in this subject and will be confident in using it. I am Russian, so unfortunately, I may not understand everything, and my words may sound unclear and disjointed. I am also very into socionics, psychosophy, and the Enneagram. That's all I can say about myself. See you around!

Hello all! My name is Cariabella, and I have been reading tarot since 2014. My love for the tarot—reading, learning, and teaching—led me down the path of using the cards for shadow work, spiritual development, and awakening. I absolutely love tarot and can never resist buying a new book, a new deck, or enrolling in new courses!

After years of training within the Academy of Sorcery, I finally gained my in depth knowledge as to my true psychic abilities and how to foresee the present through the on goings of the past. Through tarot divination mainly, numerology and crystal gazing, I am able to foresee love plus relationship resolutions, career and financial breakthroughs. My current favorite deck of cards are Waite tarot cards.

Hello, I go by Mara and I'm from the US. I've had a long and difficult love affair with tarot, beginning around 1996. I love to study and discuss the cards but I've only done readings for myself. I'm hoping that, if I prove to be a valuable member of the community here, y'all can help me expand into reading the cards for other people. 🙂 I look forward to chatting with you!

Hello everyone. My name is Cody. I am 40 years old and returning to tarot after a very long hiatus. I first became interested in my mid to late teens and began learning about tarot. A few amazing people at Aeclectic helped me get started by gifting decks and stuff. Throughout the years, life came and went and my studies all but stopped completely. I lost all of my decks and things and fell into alcoholism and addiction, but I am proud to say that I have over 8 years of sobriety and at the suggestion of my wife, I am looking to return to studying tarot. I never lost interest, and I am ready to start a fresh journey,

Hi everyone, I am new to the forum and new to tarot! I first dabbled with tarot in my teens but didn't really do a lot with it. I've come back to it in midlife and I'm hooked! At the moment I'm a bit of a Smith-Waite purist, but as I grow I'm sure I will broaden my horizons. As the woo-iest of my friends and family, I'm keen to explore this journey online with folks like you. After all, you can't learn without listening to discourse, observing readings - oh, and the memes of course! Uhh... I can't think of anything else to say so... hi! It's good to be a part of the community :)

hey all! it's an honour for me to be a part of the Tarot, Tea & Me community! online, I go by Sybil (she/her). I'm a university student studying Art History in Italy. in fact, English is not my first language – Italian is, so I apologise beforehand for any mistakes. when it comes to Tarot, I first ran into it in 2019... and it stuck in my head ever since! with years passing by, I also learned other divination systems – Vera Sibilla, Lenormand, Parlour Sybil, Italian cartomancy, etc. it's a pleasure to meet you all!

Hi everyone! I'm Marion and I'm from the south of France (so sorry if my english is a bit weird sometimes). I was on Aeclectic forum when I begun to learn tarot many years ago, and then I joined TTM for a little while when Aeclectic closed. I remember some of you😊 But at some point I stopped practising tarot and disappeared from here. I was "Esk" back then, but I've lost my password and I've changed a lot so I don't relate to this username anymore. That's why I've created a new account and decided to introduce myself again, with my real name this time. I've been back to tarot reading for a little more than a year now. And I've also decided to b…

Hello everybody, I call myself Nnaiad. I have been reading tarot for a long time, but have never read for anyone but friends. I am trying to take it to the next level and maybe getting good enough to charge for readings. I read something once that says that if you only read for yourself most of the time, you get into a place where you just look at the cards and say, for example, "Hmm. Queen of cups. Love okay, okay. Oh! 5 of pentacles. Uh oh! Hmm! 9 of Pentacles. And Queen of Cups. Oh. Okay. I get it." And then you go on. I exaggerate, of course, the the main point is that you never verbalize what you see. So, it becomes a skill you did not develop. You have t…

Hi. So I am brand new to this community. I am also pretty new to tarot. I am a 61 year old man who lives in San Diego, CA. For the past 8 years my main focus has been on recovery from severe childhood traumas. The healing required a great deal of solitude. And I can now happily report that I made enough progress in my healing that I now am really seeking community. I also learned a tremendous amount about spirit and about the psyche during my healing years. My goal now is to study the tarot well enough to be able to use that practice to deepen my spiritual work and to also use the cards to assist others. I recently took a look at the Biddy Tarot communit…
