hi, i'm a new member of the forum, but i've been lurking around for some time haha. i'm not a newbie to tarot but i have much to learn. keen to discuss and explore with you all 🙂

I'm jumping the reddit sinking ship, and you all were recommended as a functional forum for card discussions. Reading the rules supported my hopes of finding a pleasant place full of interesting people of the cards. Long time Tarot dabbler here, with an affection for Lenormand as well. Expansive growth in card deck variety and books hooked me deeper in recent years. I am a quite neurodivergent old yogi, and a mind-blind aphant. I think cards work for humans because of something like quantum math and our neurology. We're pragmatic magic in action. If you read this all, say Hi!

Hi there 🙂 I just joined 🙈 I'm pretty old, I used to connect a lot through forum sites when I was in my teens... I'm from Germany and am a mom... I have been into cards pretty much my whole life, lenormand and cartomancy and tarot. Collection aspect came around 4 years ago in my life... Hi all, I just joined today. I have been reading cards since October, 2017, so not terribly long. I normally don't read for others unless I feel a nudge to read for them. I read mostly for myself as well as for people and events I see going on in the news as well as for shows I watch (it's fun and helps open my eyes more to meanings.) HOWEVER, I recently started gaming more and the guild I'm in found out I read cards and now I have been asked quite a few times to read for them.

I joined over a year ago but haven't done an introduction, i've been into tarot on and off since 1991, covid lockdown really kicked my collecting into overdrive, and i'm also a witch. I mostly lurk Youtube/Tarottube, Reddit, and Facebook groups (and here as well). I'm a big gamer as well (hence the username; two female characters from the Zelda games).

Hello, I joined the forum yesterday. I am an absolute Tarot newbie. Last year I finally got called to the Tarot. Guess I' m finally more or less ready. I' m still trying to familiarize myself with the meanings of the classic RWS. Doesn't come easy but when something finally catches my attention I dive in deep. I hope to learn here from the forum posts. It's not my intention to learn to read the cards for others but I want to try and use the tarot as a tool for development of Self. .

Hello! I joined this forum just over a year ago but I couldn't think of what to say in my introduction so I didn't post anything at all. I've been reading Tarot for over 30 years, but I still consider myself a beginner, and I have started to study Lenormand recently. I am painfully shy, exceptionally anxious, but I would really love to connect with fellow Tarot enthusiasts. I was a semi-active member of Aeclectic Tarot forum for many years before it was shuttered, and I hope that I will be able to contribute something to this community was well.

Hi all, I just joined the forums, and I'm looking forward to many deep, inspiring tarot conversations with you all. :) My quick background - Recently coming back to tarot after 20+ years, I picked up the Gilded Tarot Royale deck a couple of weeks ago, and then the USG Rider Deck last week. The Gilded Tarot is like a new and fresh approach to me, while the Rider deck feels like talking to to an old friend again. It's great to be back! Cheers, Steve

Hello! Just wanna say Hi and that I'm new to tarot and I bought my first deck. Now what? Lol I don't know.

I've owned my Rider Waite deck for several decades but never gotten into it. Last year I did an online meditation which used The Moon card as the focal point, so I rummaged around for my deck and took out the card for the meditation. One thing lead to another and I've been totally engrossed since then. At the moment I am practicing 3 card draws. I am looking forward to having some input from seasoned slingers, as well as seeing what you are all up to on your side. Hope to meet you on some of the other topics.

Hi, have just joined. Have been into the Tarot for quite a long time, but also Spiritualism and Psychic subjects. Is there anywhere on the forum I can post a Spread that I have done with feedback on what the cards mean in each house astrology spread. I did the spread for a friend but I am too close I think I can grasp some aspects but would like others views on it. It is not asking for a reading.

So happy to have found you! I've been wallowing in the archived AT forum, and was sad because everyone left the party before I got there. And then ... there was TT&M ... like a glowing beacon in my hits in Google search! I've been tarot-curious for a number of years, but have been studying and practicing reading consistently for about a year now. Some of the meanings are starting to stick, and my interpretations are getting more fluid - so yay! And I'm delighted to discover that my favourite decks demonstrate a sense of humour from time to time.
