I currently do Angle and Oracle Readings but have been wanting to learn the Tarot for sometime now. I will admit that I've found learning Tarot to be a bit overwhelming. I have just received a new deck for Christmas ( Modern Witch Tarot) which I absolutely LOVE and it has inspired me to give it another go. So here I am, ready to learn how to read with my new Tarot deck! Blessed Be!

Not new in the sense of exposure but "new" in the sense of actually practicing, studying, having it be a regular part of my life. Hi! And thanks for letting me share this space with you.

Hello, I am new to tarot, bought my first deck (gilded royale) a few months ago. Ever since I have been so impressed by this seemingly magical practice. I mainly do spreads (3 cards) on myself and friends. I have been wanting to join an online community to help with new spreads, interpretations and ways of practicing. I am very excited to learn more and to help others if I can.

I was a member of Aeclectic for a long time, but in the end I stopped attending when my health took a turn. It seems Aeclectic was finally taken down. I am not certain, but at a quick glance it seems so. I am not here to talk about Aeclectic, but am elaborating on how I found this forum. So, I am sure that many I used to know are now here. For the most part I don't "do tarot" myself, but I'm here to help keep the community abreast on the life path of a deck creator you may recognize: Barbara G. Walker. I'm her son. I got back into tarot a few years after dabbling in my early twenties. I was both fascinated and conflicted about tarot then. It's a familiar story; religious upbringing, yada yada yada. I eventually freaked out after a few too many eerily accurate readings and sold my deck to the local bookstore. 😁 Since I started reading again, I've been visiting the Aecletic forum archives and learning a lot. I primarily read for myself, but would like to improve my skills, give and get feedback, learn from others, etc., and decided to sign up. I'll stop here; reached word limit. LOL

About threeish years ago I took the plunge and bought my first deck, and have been hooked ever since. I've been on the hunt for a tarot community where I can work through some questions that have popped up in my use of the cards so far and learn from others; I haven't done too much looking around yet, but I feel like I've ended up in the right place!

Hi, I've joined this forum as I'm dipping into tarot again. I like shuffling the cards, trying to work out what they mean. I'm a beginner and not sure I can offer anything here but I'm interested.

Good time to the forum members, I have been studying and practicing Tarot since my school age, and astrology added a few years later. Those times, I had no possibility to buy any deck, so made it myself, redrawing the grey-scale pictures from the divination textbook. After having finished the 78th, I understood that passion for Tarot reading and investigation was forever 🥰 My ambitious plan for the next year is to write a book about Tarot divination methodics, or at least create a professional site to help people in studying the most controversial issues of practice.

Hello, I'm a digital and collage artist. I'm making a deck about scientists' discoveries that have been buried to history, whether because they were too brilliant, or because they were from a minority. Let me know if you can think of anyone, or a particular invention. I also read tarot, and do collective readings. Will show artwork as I make it.

hello, i am a triple cancer and i have been interested in astrology since 2013. i draw a daily card and journal because i appreciate the connection to myself and the universe tarot provides. i find myself here on this forum hopefully to confirm and validate my own interpretations of the cards so i can move in clarity. i have a gemini twelfth house so i feel that has a lot to do with myself not completely trusting my own knowledge. i am excited to learn more and look forward to posting a love spread when i can!

I've worked on reading the Tarot de Marseille, but now discovered I enjoy The Petite Lenormand.
