Hello all, I have joined up on the advice of one of your members (I think) who emailed my tarot shop to ask a question. I have often browsed the advice on this forum 🙂 I've been reading tarot for around 30 years now, I also use oracle and sometimes tea leaves, charms etc. Mostly tarot. And I do have an online tarot shop for indie decks which I launched last year. I look forward to joining in the discussions!

Hi! Newbie here, so you might see me sometime ambling along trying to figure out how things work here. 😅 I'm a beginner practitioner of cartomancy (hedgewytchery), with oracle cards on the side. I do own tarot cards, but when I tried learning tarot reading and cartomancy, I find myself leaning more to using a regular deck of playing cards. I’ve been studying tarot for about three years- history, usage, meaning, application, art- and feel really confident in my abilities to read individual cards for myself and for others. I’ve received a lot of positive feedback that supports my readings are on track, which is great. But I continue to struggle with combination cards, and my confidence level isn’t there yet. So I’m looking forward to learning more about how to craft those stories. 🧡

Hi, my name is Nicole! I’ve been interested in tarot for a little over a year.. starting when I started seeing readings on my tiktok feed. I have two tarot decks; Modern Witch Tarot and the standard Rider-Waite deck. I’ve been going on a bit of a research journey lately, learning more interpretations and methods of reading the cards.. I’m super excited to learn more information!

I'm new to tarot, less than 6 months, but I know all the cards, have done a few reading for friends and family, but I'm looking to be better at making the connections between the cards in the spread, how to deal with cards that don't fit properly in the narrative I'm trying to establish in a reading, and just how to be better and more informed about Tarot. Hopefully I can gain some insight from some of you more experienced Tarotists.

Hi, my name is eightofwands. I am a newbie to tarot. I basically started a few days ago. I am/was a writer by hobby, and I wanted to strengthen my intuition to help it. When looking up ways to improve intuition, one way was to use tarot. I know tarot is used in self-care, so I imagine this was in a similar vein. I already had a (very cute) deck in my possession, so why not. I don't know how much I can contribute, but I'll do my best. Nice to meet you.

I'm not sure how to write an introduction, but I'll try. My mother taught me tarot when I was a young girl. She gave me her first deck (a Universal Waite) when I was a teenager. It is still my favorite. Tarot has been a practice for reflection and guidance, especially when I get stuck, feel lost, or wonder about the future. I've done some readings for friends over the years, but there aren't many people in my life who share this interest. So, I look forward to sipping tea and talking tarot here. 🙂

Hey Everyone! I thought I’d join somewhere I could possibly meet like minded people, to explore tarot with. I’ve been reading for just over a year now, I’ve always been intuitive and I chose tarot as an outlet, I’d love to do some readings with people eventually, I mostly use tarot for myself. Very interesting to see others experiences with the cards. Does anyone else feel like they should expand their reading from cards to something else? If so, what tools etc did you find useful? Oh and one of my fave decks is light seers tarot, beautiful deck!

Hello! I’m Kristi and I’m fairly new to tarot, I’ve been reading for myself for 6 months. After 33 birthdays and almost as many Christmases with no deck I decided it was time to gift -myself- a deck. I then spent way too long deciding which deck was right for me, before finally buying the Northern Animals deck by Wilder Hearts Studio… and then immediately realized I want ALL the decks so I also now own the Lucid Dreams and Ostara decks, and I’m sure many more will follow. Very much looking forward to participating in this community!
