Hi everyone, I’m still new-ish to Tarot despite owning a Thoth deck for five years. I never found a good way in with Thoth, and despite loving the imagery still find it very difficult to read. This year I took the tarot course in the Rune Soup premium members area, which introduced me to the Tarot de Marseille, and a whole different way of reading. From there I learned of Camelia Elias and Enrique Enriquez, as well as Yoav Ben-Dov and other excellent readers/teachers. Since then I’ve been joyously reading the TdM as often as I can, meditating on the cards and even dreaming about them. My preferred deck is the Noblet although I’m hoping to get a Dodal soon as …

I joined a little while back, but I couldn't make posts right away, so I'm making my introduction now! My first tarot deck was the Wonderland tarot in a tin by Chris and Morgana Abbey. I have two soul decks, the Dreaming Way by Kwon Shina and Rome Choi, and the Parrott Tarot by Margaret and Thom Parrott. (Those two are also the only decks which I have spares of). I'm familiar with the RWS-style of traditional tarot meanings and that's the base with which I approach tarot reading in general. And I'm pretty comfortable with that. But I'm trying to learn things like astrology and maybe a little kabbalah, because the Parrott deck is Thoth-based but I don't want to learn …

[Hopefully it's okay to post this here -- it's similar to what I put in at tarotcollectors.org.] Hi all. Arriving from the Boston MA area. For the most part I don't "do tarot" myself, but I'm here to help keep the community abreast on the life path of a deck creator you may recognize: Barbara G. Walker. I'm her son. This effort is just to let y'all know that I, or sort-of-we-by-proxy, are here for a little while. I can't say much more yet because of the post limit. More later, perhaps...

Hello! Stopping in to introduce myself. Kind of new to tarot / fortune telling / oracle cards. Been interested for a good many years but far too busy with life to really dig into it as much as I'd like. I'd start to dabble it and then fade away from it, rinse and repeat (over and over again). Now at a point in my life where I'm finding a little extra time to be able to pursue some more of my interests.

Hello to you all. I'm Andrew, from New Zealand. I'm 55 y.o. and a bit of a hermit. I've always been a deep thinker and not so much into constant physical activity. I have explored most of the religious/spiritual groups that I've come to know of. Apart from Tarot. I like Taoism and have a fascination for the teachings of Christ. My strongest values are peace and freedom.

Hi there! Not been around a while. For the record, I am a tarot deck creator, and the Chalice Tarot Deck and the Cascades Oracle can be found here, I think. Greetings anyway. I am based in Budapest, Hungary.

Hello, I'm Rhona and new here. Doing Tarot for over a year now, mainly using the wild unknown deck 🙂 I had a bit of a rough time over the last few month and just couldn't connect with my deck or any other deck or divination tool, but I'm better now! And readings are working again 🙂

Hey I'm Jay, and I like many of you I am an occultist. I say I'm an occultist because it fascinates me, but what I really am is a truth seeker. You could say I'm an alchemist, but I should clarify what I would define as alchemy. What I define as alchemy is enlightenment, and enlightenment comes from the will to receive, which is why my favorite character of all time (Neo) represents Will in the Matrix series. Without it, one can never realize the truth, which is that the truth lives within each and every one of us, but our ego is what blinds us to it. That's what I define as alchemy, and I live my life in unity with it. I am God, but I am also Satan, and it's up to me who…

Hi Everybody, I am a witch and tarot reader. I am new here, but have been reading and involved with tarot for 25 or more years. It is a passion and a learning and spiritual tool for me. I am a mother of 3 kids and 4 dogs, and am in a life transition at the moment. In the past year I have focused intensely on tarot, increasing my reading and study as well as reading regularly for myself and others. I am looking to pursue this more as a career, or at least one of the things I do. Along with reading tarot, I also collect (mostly) indie tarot decks. My current favorite decks are: 1. Robin Wood Tarot is my go-to gal 2. Dame Darcy Mermaid Tarot 3. Eight Coins Tarot…

Hello everyone- Dragonfly here. Signed up for this account along time ago and finally started to learn how to read cards. It's been fun and have several decks, such as Harry Potter, Game of Thrones, Spirit Animals Oracle, Crystal Oracle, Enhanced Maps and etc. Reading tarot is so much fun and it's been almost 1 year. I'm looking to practice this skill and learn new creative ways to read. I love numerology as well and find astrology fascinating. It's like a new world for me and I'm just playing in it. Look forward to connect with other life minded individuals, and have some fun. Have a blessed day!

Hey there, I've been doing readings for myself (and rarely for a friend) for I guess around 8 years now, but I've never really had anyone to talk to about it. See, I'm an atheist (which isn't the same as being non-spiritual, just not believing in deity stuff!) and a 20 year old man, so in terms of my friend groups I really don't have people I can talk to about this stuff, I know most of my friends would laugh or be indifferent. The rest just kinda aren't into this kind of stuff. I decided to come here to ask for help with interpreting readings and some of the cards that are more confusing to me, but also just for the vibe and community. The past few years I was really emb…

Hello, hello, I'm stoked to be part of this forum - thanks for having me. I've been practicing Lenormand for a couple of years now and would love to hone my skills by reading for others. I've had a couple of different teachers - each of which has had their own methods and meanings...it took me a while to get my head around their teachings but now I'm more or less comfortable with 1-9 cards readings. I would love to do more Grand Tableau readings for others so that I can develop my skills. See you around.

I'm new to this forum but not to tarot. Lately I've had my interest reinvigorated by two sources- the Alleyman tarot and the community that's grown up around it, and the a growing interest in other oracles, especially making my own. I'm looking forward to interesting commentary on tarot as a whole and seeing new decks!

I've been doing tarot readings for quite some time now, but only recently I started taking it "seriously" as I went from practically-atheist to an occultist. I own two decks (Smith-Waite and Thoth) and planning to get more. I am learning about Western mysticism nowadays. I am 19F she/her. Happy to be here.

Greetings everyone. Daniel invited me to introduce myself. (Thank you.) I’ve been hanging back a bit until I better understand the procedures and geography. Today I almost responded to a post from 2019 but wondered if it was acceptable etiquette to show up for a party five years late. Getting to the point: I’m here because I need to be around people who speak this language. I’ve revealed my interests to family and friends, but I need this specialized community for the ideas I’d like to bat around, and to participate modestly in those put forth by others. My fingers tend to write too much once they get started, so I’ll leave it at that. …

Good morning/ evening/ afternoon everyone ! Newbie here (kind of) X/ I'm Orc, an 18 y.o girl from Vietnam. I took an interest in Tarot and cartomancy 2 years ago, my first deck was Harmonious Tarot from Lo Scarabeo, mostly used for personal reading and ocassionally, for friends. This deck has really helped me with my mental health, although since my graduate exam was coming near, I neglected my studies in tarot for a whole year and just got back recently looking for some insight for my artblock (I'm majoring in graphic design now) So I started to consider new creative ideas that I've never tried to cure my burnout, and a light bulb suddenly lights up, suggesting me…

i wouldnt say im new to the concept of tarot, ive been into it for a few years now. but im just now really coming into my spiritual awakening and i decided to buy some decks and crystals. after watching tarot stuff for so long im pretty sure i have the basics down, meanings of the cards and a singular, im still struggling a bit to understand how to read them as a whole. i dont really have a community to turn to about this, so i was hoping i could find some great friends here that can guide me a bit! i cant wait to start working with my deck and really come into the thing i want to do the most

I'm so delighted to be here! It's so nice to know I have a group of people to talk to about tarot. Though ... let's face it, I suppose I'm here to gush about cards or look at what other people are getting, so I can drool over the artwork! 🙂 I'm always fascinated by how different artists interpret each card and the symbolism differently. I've been drawn to tarot for years but it's only been the last couple of years that I finally decided to jump in and get some. I have 7 decks in total despite wanting SO MANY (haha) -- but I really try to only buy decks that I can't seem to stop thinking about. My top 3 tarot decks are the Shadowscapes Tarot, Everyday Witch T…

Hi, I'm from /div/ination general, if you know 4chan. I'd like to migrate elsewhere, at least branch out. I don't like the energy, and we get harassed.
