So I met this guy a few months ago and felt a connection with him. I started watching tarot videos on YouTube about how my future lover will look/be like and it all matched him. When I first read Mary K. Greer's Tarot for your Self and calculated using numerology my Soul card, I was appalled. I got the Heirophant. I grew up religious, afraid of hell, and working my ass off to earn a mansion in heaven. I was hurt by the Church and did not want any part of it anymore. I didn't see anything in the search but I'm new to that! Any suggestions on how to search for this topic on the sight are very welcome. recently the four of swords has made several appearances which reminded me how the typical description and meaning most authors ascribe to this card has never seemed satisfactory to me in consideration of the actual image. pretty much all the materials i've read describe this as an image of a man or knight "resting" in a serene, protected place, implying ideas related to the positive aspects of of inactivity, renewing energies through rest, recuperation from illness, et cetera. waite's own pictoral key describes the figure as an effigy on a tomb, but it has always seemed to me the lid doesn't look fully installed, clearly one corner is intentionally offset to …

Hey all, So, I own about 12 decks so far- most are RWS clonea but some are a little different. I feel most comfortable reading with the regular RWS ( at the moment I use the "original version and the dirty PAM with which I connected immediately since its basically the same deck with different colors) but I have been wanting to explore and connect and read with other decks- just to get an ability to diversify like many of you do- atm its the Shadowscape and Wild unknown oneswhich I would LOVE to better use. We've all heard the conversations about intuitive readers vs by-the-book readers and how that conversation inevitably ends with everyone agreeing that a blend of both sides is key... Happy Friday the 13th and Happy Mid-Autumn Festival Just wanted to poise a question to more of the tarot collectors' side of the community. I noticed a lot of people in the tarot community have been stepping back from tarot due to burnout, loss of interest, and/or hitting some sort of tarot "funk" but I noticed it was happening to those more on the spiritual tarot readers spectrum of the community. I seem to have started a habit of running multiple decks. I've been using the Druidcraft to guide my current spiritual journey, so when I wanted to do a daily draw about day-to-day feelings about things, I chose my old Spiral (or sometimes the Housewives. Did I mention it's an underrated deck? It always nails it.) The other deck that I use with specific intent is the Rohrig, which I usually get out if I need a creativity-related reading, though I'm thinking the Blake may take over that role. I really love this card. It is my favourite as it talks about connecting with your feminine energy, and all the other beautiful things such as beauty, nature, volunteering, helping, fertility, sensuality, sexuality, pregnancy, intuition, following your heart, etc. Almost all of us should connect more with our feminine energy and focus on 'Being' and not on 'Doing' as many people do this time, where hard work, being busy and being logical is synonim of going to be successful. Have you ever dreamed (as in night dreams) about tarot cards? If you see cards in your dream would you try to interpret them as if you were getting that card in a draw? What if the imagery was different somehow.. So I'm working with my Druidcraft on finding my path. I'd drawn the Hermit (I know, right?) and wanted to keep that card to think about so today drew another card. So I've stumbled across a spread/reading approach: a single card each day, with no replacement, laying out a progressive story from the cards.
