Hi there, Im working with my favourite deck to attempt to reconnect back with my cards. Its been a while and im looking deeper into significant symbols that occur on my cards to gain their meanings to the card in hand. I've chosen to focus on the Swords suit recently, and im working with the Silver Witch Tarot. Its usual depiction of a woman, blindfolded, with two balanced swords are there, however it appears to have roses on her right (cards left) and lilies on her left (cards right). Both are slightly frozen. Could this signify the sitters vunerability with this card in play? Thoughts welcomed :D

The five of cups is my card of the day. I'm working with a 1928 printing of Tarocco Piemontese this week. I made my peace with mentally transposing pictorial cards onto the pips, but in my heart I feel guilty about doing so My 5 of cups, conflicted, this morning led me to wonder how You read pips. And why that method. I don't believe there were any books on TdM pips when I entered the tarot world.

Okay, it's time to fess up. Has anybody here used the Tarot to guide them when they are/were dating? I'm just curious. :) I have to admit that I sometimes do this, but not in a creepy, stalker-y way. When I perform date readings (which again is not too often), it's only to know how the date would go, if I have anything to watch out for, stuff like that. I rarely read about the other party. I only do so if I have misgivings about them like when the things they say don't add up, if they're quite shady, or if I suspect that I'm being catfished. This is almost de rigeur when it comes to blind dates lol.

I noticed that aside from the folks here and in AT whom I've exchanged readings with, I've never really had my cards read by anyone else. So yeah I'm just curious about your experiences. What is the most memorable reading you've ever received from anyone? It may be because it had a very positive impact upon your life, it may have been truly eye-opening and inspiring, or it might be memorable because it's one of the messiest, most unfortunate ordeals you've ever went through. I'm just curious - is there anybody else here who still tries to hide their Tarot practice from others? To whom do you conceal it, and why?

I had noticed recently when visiting the US Games site that it seems like they've updated their site- thank goodness! They were really due for an update, and with the changes I think the site is now easier to navigate, easier to see the new decks and available pre-orders, etc. But I was pleasantly surprised to also notice that they now seem to have all LWBs available for download right there on the deck pages! Was doing a reading for fun for a friend. I'm new to tarot so learning but her question was "is the man i like in a serious relationship?" She likes this man who seems to be hanging around a lot with this one girl and she wasn't sure if they were in a relationship or if they were if it's serious as in something with long term potential. I kept that in mind and the cards were all pages then the last card was Ace of Wands. How would I interpret that? Is it a not looking serious or yes? Hi all! :D I'm starting this thread to discuss the use of tarot cards in spirit communication. I was interested in a thread on the Aeclectic Tarot forums about someone who used tarot cards in a Séance, and was wondering if anyone else here has used them this way? I just wanted to talk about my experience with the knight of wands. Almost everywhere you see descriptions of this card saying the knight of wands is passionate and lusty, but only for a short period of time. This has not happened in my case.
