Tarot Decks

To qualify I'm asking about decks you bought from say, 5-15 years ago when they were trendier or new that you still use regularly. What has kept your interest, has anything changed in how you perceive the deck? What about decks you may have jumped on the bandwagon with that lost your interest? What was it that made you not maintain a "relationship" with those cards? I'm going to name the Anna K. Tarot and the Lunatic Tarot as two that I've 'stayed with.' I've seen a few collaborative tarot decks over the years. I don't own any myself yet but I'm interested in how many there may be. The names of the decks and how well the art is received (are they usable?). I don't know if it's permitted but perhaps Lenormands and the like can be included here. Recently I read a comment about new-agey decks. For some reasons I can't imagine what this shall be. Could you help me out and mention some decks you would consider to be new-agey? There is a slightly negative undertone I read out in connection with the word "new-agey". I know that this must sound very naive to ask such a question, but though I read definitions of "new age" I can't get the term right.

I've been looking around and the "Star Spinner", "Tarot of the Divine", and "Linestrider" are the ones that most call to me at the moment. However before I make a decision on who's coming home with me (I really can't afford more than one), are there any others with a similar vibe to those? This was a deck that was requested by and created for user Kittaine for their 18th birthday. It was a community deck. Hello, I have been looking for a rare gay tarot deck. Called The Gay Male Tarot created by Jason Davitt. I would love to purchase the deck or find a resource where I can see the whole deck. It is a black and white erotic tarot deck.. it has extra cards in I also.. Not much is shown online I'm afraid. Any help would be appreciated.

This is a question I end up asking myself as I watch YouTube videos. There are so many great videos on 'first impressions" and flip-throughs but I end up wondering - but does how does it read? Do the cards allow you to look into the image and bring out more than what you'd get on face value? Of course the spread, surrounding cards and intuition help explore different meanings - but generally "does this deck speak". Hi everyone, I'm hoping to pick your collective brains about decks that may be out there that would suit what I need. I've been studying the RWS deck system using Holistic Tarot, with the Llewellyn Classic as my deck. Although I know it's not a RWS clone, it's closer to a traditional RWS deck than I've ever owned. I just really struggle to read a lot of the cards intuitively, which isn't helped by my abysmal rote learning abilities. I'm wondering if the deck is to blame. Who has seen this collaboration of over 70 artists in a unique deck on Kickstarter? It is funding in 2 days. Some of the art is ... mediocre. But others are so alluring and unique. Hello there from Greece, I am a new one in the forum and tarot. Today, I bought my first deck which is swiss 1JJ deck. It's so beautifull !!! I find it more beautifull than Rider-Waite's tarot deck. Does anyone else here own this deck ? I seem to have absolutely unique packaging, but I cannot actually believe this... I bought it new in 1990 - and mine had no plastic case, as everyone I have spoken to say theirs has. Mine has rather fine boards tied with green cord. They REALLY don't look the kind of thing that's hand made by an owner.... Anyone ?
