Not all hands can shuffle standard sized decks, and not all bags (or pockets) can fit them either. Coincidentally I fit into neither category but, no matter how much I call it a blackhole, my handbag already has enough stuff in it without adding a full sized deck to it 😂 So, for all those similarly challenged, let us glory in the diminutive and compile a list of perfectly petite decks! What mini decks do you know of? What are your favourites? They can be any size as long as they are either smaller than a standard tarot deck or smaller than the original eg. Baroque Bohemian Cats mini. As the lovely Katrinka has mentioned, if you're after…

Hello everyone, I just saw the Nightmare Before Christmas tarot and am wondering if anyone has this deck? If so, is it a dream to read with it? Or not so much. Are the cards sturdy or low quality? Have you guys done any reading with it? I love the movie and the cards looks interesting, but not 100% sure about it. So what are your thoughts about this deck?

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/wilderwoventarot/the-wilderwoven-tarot a lovely nature based deck, happy to back it. Look close at the cards, I'm quite impressed at the silhouettes he chose to represent each card. Pledges are shown in Canadian dollars, the cost in other currency will be shown when you pledge, but before you click submit.

I watched a recent auction site listing for the Tarot of Delphi. Having recently been the recipient of the Majestic Earth I thought it would be nice to have this deck by the same person. but this listing... went for $248.00 US. And it is missing the Justice card. It says that clearly in the title and in the listing info. I'd like to know why. If the buyer has this kind of money it is fairly easy to source the deck. If the buyer is a reader, speaking for myself a deck missing a card is worth 0.00 in any currency. Your thoughts? this is the listing, although the link will eventually lead nowhere. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Rare-Out-of-…

Anybody seen Suzanne Treister's HEXEN 2.0 Tarot for sale anywhere besides eBay / Etsy? My usual spots not turning up any copies, hoping to find slightly more reasonable pricing than eBay sellers offering...

I was looking to see if there was a thread to share my excitement that this deck is available to order (I've been watching it for a couple of years now!) but I can't see a thread... I've pre-ordered (the first time I've EVER done that with a deck) and am really looking forward to it. Roll on September. https://yoshiyoshitani.store/collections/tarot https://www.amazon.com/Tarot-Divine-Guidebook-Inspired-Folklore/dp/0593135148

This was brought to my attention by dear @Flaxen and I felt like this great news needed it’s own thread. I have been wanting this deck for a very long time and I am so glad that I will finally be able to acquire one!

These aren't RWS images, it is gems and flora beautifully rendered in watercolor style. But the book (one page full color image, opposite page explanation of gem, flower, and then drawing this into tarot deck commonalities is well thought out. Every single card has a gem and botanical which blew me away...two for the price of one 🙂 The cards fan and shuffle easily and the edges are gold. The box is sturdy, lift off top, book size with a well for the cards. The majors and each suit have one extra card. The only drawback I can see, not having her knowledge, is the cards are all roman numeral numbered, but not named by suit or major so I'll need the b…

Has anyone heard that Baba Studios is moving away from tarot completely? I just read on their Facebook page that they will transition into other things but will be completing all current tarot decks. I for one am very sad to hear the news. No reason has yet been given.

I'll start. This one is pricey, but there's obviously a lot of work behind it and it looks lively, like it might be a fun deck. One of the creators is a circus performer, so I'm sure that lends an interesting perspective. There's only three left, so if you want it, act fast: https://www.etsy.com/listing/697096776/the-tarot-of-why-original-hand-drawn Created and designed by by artist, poet and clown R. Campbell while touring the world with Cirque du Soleil And Teatro ZinZanni in North and South America, Europe and Japan. Or otherwise? I noticed a dedicated fanbase for the Mystical Cats Tarot and for the Tarot of the Pagan Cats. And since cats are a popular theme in the tarot deck world, I noticed that there are at least a dozen other cat decks to choose from. Which ones do you own, and which is your favourite? Which one goes most in-depth and is readable to you? Let's talk cats! My furry purr creature Mizu is in my lap while writing this.

I have the Vachetta and love it- the card stock is amazing for riffle shuffling and it is a beauty. I also have the Soprafino- beautiful, but not the same card stock. For those who have other decks from them- any of the other decks with similar card stock to the Vachetta? I am pondering the Besacon but don't want to get another (I have a couple copies) unless it is the sublime stock. Also curious on the small Visconti. I am such a sucker for card stock- for all the decks I own there are still only a handful I enjoy shuffling, and hence using.

A 78 card deck of Disney's Nightmare Before Christmas is being created for later this year! Hi, guys! Currently the only "official" edition of this deck you can still purchase is Jamie Sawyer's tiled edition of the Vitruvian on Etsy. It's saying there are now only 2 copies left, so I figured I'd post a heads up for anyone who wants one! https://www.etsy.com/listing/787224935/spirit-keepers-tarot-tiles-vitruvian I have to say, I've seriously regretted not getting this last year when it was still in print. The moment it sold out last fall, you couldn't find a deck anywhere for less than $500 and that hasn't really changed. There's currently a Vitruvian listed around $1200 on ebay. I keep thinking surely no one will keep paying such high pri…

At the Tarot Garden I have a "holy grail" wishllist for a select few decks (from my overall wishlist) that I consider to be super rare, unlikely-to-ever-get decks that I nonetheless would really really love to have. Turns out, with some patience and careful Ebay stalking i've been able to get quite a few of the decks I had on my 'holy grail' list in recent months! They are the Louttre B, the Silhouettes Tarot (that one I barely won a down-to-the-second auction for haha), the Jugendstil, the Swietlstij Drogi, and the Minotarot. Plus, the Bagong Sining is hopefully being republished next year, so that's another one. So now I am thinking that maybe I…

Hi friends. Do any of you own the Modern Witch Tarot Deck by Lisa Sterle (see pics)? If so, would someone mind sending me the precise deck measurements (cards only, not the box) length, width, height? Metric would be awesome, but I can convert from standard too. Thank you!

I got question on instagram regarding this deck copyright status as it was first published in 1912 as "Il Destino Svelato dal Tarocco, originally designed by Bruno Sigon in 1912 here is good timeline: https://tarotator.com/a-timeline-of-tarot-from-1750-to-1980/ "1912 Il Destino Svelato dal Tarocco, originally designed by Bruno Sigon in 1912 as an Egyptian-based Trump set, with a Milanese Minor Arcana. Republished by Modiano in the 1975 as Cartomanzia 184, and in an English version in 1981 under the title Cagliostro Tarot. Interpretive keywords at the top and bottom of the Trumps are from Éliphas Lévi and Paul Christian. (see 1975, 1981) See Mark Filipas’ we…

I have been searching for a De Lawrence orange Deck and found one. The price is quite high but the deck is complete with 78 cards and original box. The box has the 225 N Wabash address where the company was located for only one month in 1956. These are the orange printing. This card deck is in great condition. I'm so tempted to buy it, but right now i can't justify the cost of paying that much for a deck right now. What is the general costs of these decks i know there are a few coloured versions that can vary in price,

For anyone interested in fine art, collage, or pip decks, there is a beautiful project on Kickstarter called The Fox's Wedding Tarot that might be worth your support. (I'm not affiliated with the project in any way--just a fan of the art.) This is the creator's first deck, and he has a somewhat high funding goal, but he also seems quite competent in executing the project. Plus, the basic deck is only 30 USD--how refreshing in an era of $50+ decks! Let's help him reach his goal!
