Hi everyone, I'm hoping to pick your collective brains about decks that may be out there that would suit what I need. I've been studying the RWS deck system using Holistic Tarot, with the Llewellyn Classic as my deck. Although I know it's not a RWS clone, it's closer to a traditional RWS deck than I've ever owned. I just really struggle to read a lot of the cards intuitively, which isn't helped by my abysmal rote learning abilities. I'm wondering if the deck is to blame. I'm wondering if I should pick up a proper RWS/RWS clone (I've heard good things about the Centennial Waite) and hope that the closer match of symbolism will work bette…

I love the Margarete Petersen Tarot….the art work is fantastic,,,,now that LWB that comes with if is another story…but I guess the combination of the artwork and the esoteric writings/ramblings is what make the deck unique…. But I have come to see it as more of an art deck that a true viable tarot deck…I use if for the occasional my personal daily draws sometimes…I usually just allow the card pulled to speak to me on its own but sometimes I look it up in the LWB…Sometimes the book is helpful, but for me not always…. Here is my question…does anyone actually use the Margarete Petersen Tarot for readings…not readings just for yourself but use the deck when reading for…

Hello guys, is there anyone who uses Steampunk tarot from Barbara Moore? I am little bit confused with this deck. It is beautiful set of cards, but sometimes I am not sure, how to interpret them. Because in her book, there are some discrepancies between her descriptions and RW tarot. What kind of interpretation do you use? Your own?Mixture of Barbara's instruction and RW? Only RW? Thank you for your insights <3

Two of my favorite Tarot books are Tarot For Yourself by Mary K. Greer, and Tarot For Self-Discovery by Nina Lee Braden. Both books have exercises that help you to get to know yourself better. I like to use the Shapeshifter Tarot for things like this, since to me the deck represents throwing off your old view of yourself, and finding your true inner being. Which decks do you like to use when you're on a journey of self-discovery?
