Im curious. I did 2 personal readings for myself. PPF General reading: Tower, Wheel of fortune, Devil PPF financial reading: 2 of cups, 3 of wands and wheel of fortune. Im curious what you guys think. I also did a love PPF but can’t remember the past and present.. the future however is ace of pentacles. I am single. I posted them all together also to see if there is a correlation between them since they were done within the same hour. Thanks!

I'm looking for more insight on what spreads folx currently use for someone who comes to them wanting to focus on future-only. To not review or reflect on the past, and not even necessarily focus on the present, but looking for advice on how to proceed moving forward- career, love, family, etc. What spreads typically lend themselves to this? Or, is there a recommendation for a self-designed spread that would be useful here?

Here is another new spread based on an historical model: the Celtic triskelion. It also uses a traditional convention that I borrowed from the "quintessence" calculation of the tirage en croix, or French Cross, spread. When there aren't four card preceding it, I call it the "numerical essence." AUTHOR’S NOTE: Here is a concise spread that is aimed at exploring the general characteristics, consequences and dynamics of a new human contact or other opportunity that has recently entered (or is about to enter) the seeker’s life. (If it addresses a situation rather than a specific individual, those attributes will reflect the querent’s own experience of the occurrence.…

Hi all, I just crafted this spread for examining how to live life more fully in 2018. Fears hold us back, but do we always know what we fear? Fear not (pun intended...), this spread will help :) Pull 1 card for each question - or more, if you feel confident in interpreting in a more story-like manner. 1. What unfounded fear do I have? 2. How can I best let go of that fear? 3. What will change in my life if I overcome the fear? 4. How can I live more fearlessly overall? 5. How can I help others overcome their fears?

Most of you know that I'm not a fan of 3-card readings since I think they take too narrow a slice of the deck and tell too shallow a story. If I use them, I prefer to extract the cards from a larger population of drawn cards using some kind of a "pointer." In this case I'm relying on the nominal "facing" of the figures or landscape features on the cards in each of three positions to determine which of them to read in the columns. (This is what used to be called a "Chinese menu" approach ["I'll have one from Column A, one from Column B and one from Column C"], but I imagine that is now politically incorrect.) The first two cards use rightward orientation to pr…

I've never much liked the one-card daily draw because it implies that a single type of activity will prevail for an entire 24-hour period. For me, it fails to portray the opportunity for "change-over-time" unless we "intuit" it from the card's inherent nature. I've been seeking a model that can show shifts in the querent's "energy pattern" that may occur over the span of a day. Here is a link to my latest effort: https://parsifalswheeldivination.com/2020/03/05/the-diurnal-footprint-daily-draw-spread/

Another spread made a while ago! Take Death out of your deck and sit with it for a moment. Gaze at the card and contemplate what Death means to you. Think about your experiences, or lack thereof, with Death so far. Write a bit about this. When you're ready, place Death back in your deck FACE UP. Shuffle it in, nice and thorough. Shuffle 13 times to honor Death. Then, seek Death out. Dig through your deck until you find it - the deeper you have to dig, the deeper his transformation is within your Soul. When you find Death, take it and the surrounding 2 cards out. The one on top is Charon's Obul, your payment to The Ferryman. Have you paid your dues? If you got …

Does anyone remember making PIN charts when they were younger? No? Just me? Well let me explain what they're about... You'll probably have heard of a pro's and con's list, well, a PIN chart takes that a step further. Instead of writing only the good and bad things about a situation, you write down all the Positive, Negative, and Interesting things about it. Hense, PIN. The Interesting things are all those things that are neither positive nor negative, they're just... Interesting. This spread came about when we were looking at buying a new house and both my husband and myself were finding it difficult to look at things objectively. Did we really wan…

AUTHOR'S NOTE: When it comes to designing line spreads for tarot reading, about the only time I employ an even number of cards is in situations that require a choice between two options, or when invoking the four classical elements represented by the suits. One thing I learned from Lenormand reading is that an odd-numbered line will always have a "hinge card" or turning-point in the middle that can serve as a motivator pointing toward the outcome. Three-card and five-card lines both serve the purpose quite well. I think of the five-card line in terms of a wave: the matter begins, surges, crests, subsides and ends. The "crest" is where it is m…

I just thought I'd share a deck randomizing technique I discovered tonight when using my Gold Foil deck. I don't know where to I'd had quite a long day because we have guests for the weekend. I was tired and I spilled some water on the floor. After cleaning the water up I went about my day for a couple more hours. Then----horror stricken---I noticed that the bag with my Star deck had been lying on the floor where I didn't see it and all the cards were totally saturated . I picked it up but it may not be salvageable. Good thing I have another one packed away. , Then I took out my Gold Foil deck and sat down to riffle the Gold Foil a few times, but when I di…

Since I just posted Worts & Cunning's Samhain spread, I thought I would also share her beautiful Beltane spread for those approaching the other thinning veil in the Southern Hemisphere! What has been growing in your life and now is ready for the maturity of summer? 3. THE WOOD. That whi…

So, I've recently had this thought I decided to incorporate into a spread. I'm sure the idea isn't novel, but I couldn't find examples, so I'll post it here. We draw cards in a row, like this: 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 The spread's questions, however, are assigned not to the cards, but in between the cards: 1 Q1 2 Q2 3 Q3 4 Q4 5 Q5 6 Q6 7 We can also lay down the cards in a circular shape, with an extra question between the first and the last card. There were two approaches to reading this spread in my idea, the first being that both the adjacent cards provide an answer to a question (so the answer to Q1 is derived by interpre…

The Buck Moon July 23, 2021, Friday The cards are placed sort of like the antlers of a buck. Deer are and have been hunted for their meat, buckskin clothing, and their antlers have been used in the making of knives. They are graceful and even a little spooky when you get close to them. They know how to fend for themselves. Here is a spread inspired by the majestic deer and the Buck Moon. I hope this spread works well for you all! Enjoy! --5-- --6-- --3-- --4-- --1-- --2-- 1&2.
