A close relative is married to someone with a truly bad case of NPD, probably with sociopathy involved. Recently, a hard limit was reached, and I need to find a solution on how to keep the venom that that person exudes AWAY from me and my family, AND remain in contact with the close relative. (Preferably, I’d just meet up with the relative, and go total no contact with the NPD partner — but as it tends to be with families and people involved, this problem is a lot more complex than that!) So, I’m looking for a solution-oriented spread that can deal with ”a situation filled with complicated obstacles,” and find a way over under through…

Hey everyone! Hoping for some good insight here. A friend and I recently did self-readings with a 4-card spread using the Johari Window, y'know, for fun: And without getting into extreme detail, I was very intrigued by the cards we drew for our Unknown quadrant (for mine I drew Judgement). Specifically because they are unknown, and I'd like to know more, I thought a follow up spread was needed to get more detail, because out of all the cards drawn, that was the one I had the most trouble interpreting. So I guess what I'm asking for is suggestions of designations I could use to create a follow up spread. What I have so far is "How d…

I saw this spread over at Jessi Huntenburgs blog and thought that it was really interesting and that it might be helpful for many people, so I wanted to share it in case you haven't already seen it! So, it is pretty much self-explaining but yeah, this is a spread to use in case you have 2 choices, 2 paths, 2 something and want to know what "will" happen in case you do one or another... i get pretty indecise sometimes and this really really helped me tons of times, as i found myself escaping certain dangers, losses and even accidents by making the "right" choice. This also can be used very effectively for a "yes/no or do/dont do" option as i will show now : 1 - Do ( Or option 1) 2 - Don't do ( Or option 2 ) 3 - Emotional in case you do ( Emotional for option 1) 4 - Emocional in case you don't do (Emotional for option 2) 5 - Finances in case you do…

In my view, tarot is not about 'predicting' something in the full sense of the word as much as disclosing future tendencies. But the question is... how far in the future? Let us exclude certain spreads, which, f.e, are specified for 3 or for 6 months. My question is mainly concerned with spreads based on the Celtic Cross or the three cards (past, present, future).

I see in my LWB for a deck a spread with a tarot card for each house and three overall cards in the center. So 15 cards. I know the zodiac houses and basic characteristics of the signs, but am not strong is astrology beyond that. Is this beyond my capabilities for a good reading?

For Hunter’s Moon 2018 I modeled this spread on a 5-point deer antler with pedicle (6) for the 5 degrees that this 2018 Hunter’s Moon will swing (south) from the Earth’s orbital plane. When I think of hunting, I think of deer hunting so that is why I thought of the antler and when I researched the Hunter's Moon a bit, I learned about the 5 degrees swing. I hope you all enjoy this spread! ------------1 ------2----- 3----------- ---------4- -----5---- 6--------- 1. What are you hunting for? 2. How will this nourish you? 3. What will you need to consider during the hunt? 4. What obstacles might you face during the hunt? 5. How will you keep up your men…

Ikigai is a Japanese concept. It means the joy of purpose, a place of fulfilment where our talents come to fruition and we feel that we're doing what we were meant to be. In order to find our own Ikigai sweet spot, there are different aspects to consider. The first four basic questions are: What do you love? What are you good at? What does the world need? What can you get paid for? I call this the first layer. Where two of these areas overlap, four opportunities arise: Profession, Vocation, Passion and Mission. Let's call this the second layer. Seeing them laid out on the diagram was enlightening for me. It's difficult t…

We could probably all write a doctoral thesis about family relationships; we're all experts on that specific topis, and even people with complex, absent or alienated family histories know a lot about families and how they work. For my reading, I used the Tarot of Oppositions, a very special deck that depicts the light and shadow side of each cards. Obviously, you can use any deck that you like, and keep in mind to look at the reversed meaning of each card. Remember that within a family, others see our weak points, shadow, and some see ONLY the dark sides of their other family members. So look at every card, and reverse it. If it's reversed, turn it upright during the re…

Hello, I’m a newbie here and a newbie all around with tarot. I’ve been studying the traditional meanings of the cards for a while and picked up my first deck today. As I’ve been getting acquainted with it, I decided to try an interview spread. The results have me completely confused, as I am still learning to apply the card meanings to specific questions. Any and all help is totally appreciated! Tell me about yourself, what are your most important characteristics? 4 of wands What are your strengths? The Emperor What are your limits? 2 of swords What are you here to teach me? 9 of cups How can I best learn and collaborate with you? The devi…

Let It Go - A Frozen Spread (4) by Glass Owl / Leviosa Crimson I originally posted this spread on AT. Want to feel one with the wind and sky? Why not give this chilly spread - which was inspired by the song, "Let It Go" from the Disney movie, Frozen - a whirl? To begin your reading, grab a Tarot deck and perhaps a blanket and cup of hot cocoa to stay warm! Search for the Five of Pentacles and once you have discovered it, please place it upright on the table. This card represents you as Elsa, a character from the Disney movie, Frozen. ♬ ♪ The snow glows white on the mountain tonight, not a footprint to be seen. I'm one to think that The Tower has some powerful lessons, if you're willing to face it. It's to be respected, but not feared. Here's a spread to help see the light in the chaos. 1. What barriers did you build up to protect yourself? 2. How did those barriers block you in? 3. What did you long for from the top of your tower? 4. What destroyed your personal Tower? 5. How will this free you? 6. How will this leave you vulnerable? 7. What unshakable foundations can you rely on when all else is lost? 8. What should you carry away as you move forward from this experience? Hopefully this spread can help you shake off the dust and move forward, proudly still alive!

I made this spread in the summer, but it's much more suiting to this season! A bit of shadow work inspired by carving a jack o'Lantern! 1. The Pumpkin - You, as a whole. A card the represents your fullest self. 2. The Carving - The part of you that have been lost, cut away. 3. The Candle - You inherently carry great beauty inside. This card will show how the cracks let the light shine out.

Hi everyone :-) Here is a spread I learned some years ago. It's to find your life calling and possible career. Do as follows: 1) Pull out of the deck all majors. Shuffle them and pull out one of them. 2) Pull out the four aces from the four suits. Shuffle them and pull out one of them. The major and the Ace you now have, will tell you which way to turn for career. I had my two cards as XXI The World and Ace of swords - suggesting on a physical level that a job with internet would be good - on a more spiritual level it made me think of the legend of King Arthur that got his sword from Lady of the Lake to go on a quest for the holy grail. Good luck :-)

Hi everyone! I just thought I would share this spread that I created a little while ago when doing a life goals reading for myself. The cards are laid out like this: 9***5*****6***10 1*****2 3*****4 11**7*****8***12 It can be moderated as needed, but as I was asking the question, I felt intuitively that there would be 4 goals for me, so I laid them out as above. Cards 1-4 (or however many you would like) represent your life goals (so card #1 in this spread can be referred to as goal #1). Cards 5-8 represent the challenges that you will face in accomplishing each goal (so for example, card #5 in this spread is the challenge to goal #1, and car…

Hiya, I used to have a copy of the collins gem tarot guide that I lost. It had an in depth lifetime spread that had sets of 3 cards per area/topic, may have been 21 cards. it was a helpful spread to use when you were reading for someone for the first time as it gave them points that they were able to recognize from their lives. ive scoured the internet trying to find it or something remotely similar. Before I resort to buying the book I figured I’d check if anyone could help. thanks!
