I came across this spread on Mary Greer’s blog: https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/marykgreer.com/2018/08/27/the-cadillac-of-readings-the-pyramid-spread/amp/ It looks useful and reminds me a bit of how I read the GT with Kipper and Lenormand. It also makes me want to read Flornoy’s book. [emoji3]

I came up with this spread based on a seasonal reflection writing workshop I took last week. I can’t take any credit for the idea, because I just put together some of the writing prompt questions given to us by the workshop leader, Randon Billings Noble, and turned them into a tarot spread. I found these questions so powerful to reflect on and write about, and I think they will work well in the context of a tarot reading as well. I see this as a spread to really reflect on a moment in your life and to be present in what is there. To see the present moment in your life and to care for it as you would a flower. Feedback welcome! Season of…

My intuition was always strong and I feel like it's really developed a lot in the last couple of years. However, I have some issues like OCD where I get very obsessive about things (especially negative) and tend to ruminate when something triggers me. This is messing with my intuition, because sometimes I can't differentiate if my OCD is acting up or if I'm legitimately picking up a vibe that someone isn't well intentioned towards me. For example, I met up with this woman a couple of times. We both live in a foreign country so we have a few things in common. It was always polite, and nothing bad was said. But something always felt OFF. She had a strange v…

I found a wonderful career spread that I'd like to share. It's from the book Tarot Life Planner by Lady Lorelei. It's called the 78 Career Choices, and it's useful for people who are at a crossroads re: their professional lives or who're simply curious as to the kinds of jobs they may possibly take. As the book says, it can "help you think, decide, and plan. It isn't meant as a surefire method of determining your next career move, but will get you out of your rut and start you thinking". First, choose any of the following questions, or if you want you may re-frame any of them to your liking: What is my best job choice for now? Which career choices best suit my …

Sometimes life can seem completely overwhelming. When I feel this way, I like to go for a walk in the park, which helps to clear my head. This spread is to help you take stock of things, and see that even in the midst of great stress, you can still find beauty in your world. 9-------10 7--------8 4---5----6 2…

Today is my UberCoolNeighbors Birthday and I'd like to do a short 'n sweet reading for her this afternoon. I'm still learning so I'm not looking for complicated here. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

How do you guys feel about yes/no-spreads? I know it's best to ask open questions (what do I need to know, what does... mean, how can I ...) but I've been thinking about signing up for an event. I'm really curious to participate, but on the other hand I don't know if I'm ready to yet. How would you formulate the question? Somebody have a spread that could work?

Dear investigators, I just listened to the latest talk by Adam Elenbaas, a Hellenistic Astrologer on YT: The Secret Wisdom of Jupiter’s Opposition to Pluto. At the end he suggested three questions we could ask ourselves in order to work with the dynamic represented by this aspect. I immediately thought of turning these questions into a tarot spread. Maybe you'll find this idea interesting too. The opposition will be exact on 20 July. What deeper purpose and meaning that I haven't been able to see is revealing itself? What part of me is asked to mature so that a vision can be fulfilled? What must I give up or surrender to be what I'm meant to be? Wishing you goo…

Here is the spread I created using shadow cards to reveal underlying motives and causes for the more explicit cards pulled from the top of the deck. One thing I like is that using reversals with the explicit cards can attune them more closely to the influence of the shadow cards, and perhaps make them more sensitive (and vulnerable) to hidden causes.

(From AT) So I thought I'd share a couple of spreads I created! Please do not reproduce it or use it for profit anywhere else, it's here for your own personal enjoyment. :) I'd love to see others try it. This is a good spread for assessing a relationship, romantic or not. It's very simple, and forms a basic heart-shape! 1---------2 -----3----- -----4----- (3 is crossed by 4) 1. You: What qualities do you bring into the relationship? 2. Them: What qualities do they bring into the relationship? 3. Progress: How to progress with this relationship. 4. Obstacle: What is blocking the relationship from progressing?

The previous year in summary 2. What have you learned from the past year 3. What you aspire to in the next twelve months 4. What empowers you in reaching your aspirations 5. What may stand in the way of reaching your aspirations 6. Your relationships and emotions in the coming year 7. Your career, work and…

I have seen many interesting spreads here, thank you:) I am a counsellor IRL, and I am starting to consider to incorporate tarot into my sessions. The cards reflect different aspects of life and ourselves and I think sometimes pictures better connect with our subcounsciousness than words. There are some techniques used during the sessions that might involve cards. One of those is Johari Window, technique created by psychologists Joseph Luft and Harrington Ingham, it looks something like the diagram created by me, posted below. The green is an open area, what I know about myself and others know about me, e.g. What are my strenghts that others often recognise in…

I'm curious what everyone's go to spread is: whether you read Oracle, Kipper, Tarot, etc. Do you prefer long spread or short to the point spreads? Or do you use a spread or do you keep pulling cards until you get a feeling to stop? Comment and let us know! 🙂

It's just about that time, so I wanted to share this in the Tarot Spreads subforum before starting the thread for the group reading! This is a spread inspired by the Sacred Days of Yule group reading let by BlueDragonfly[/member], first at AT and now here at TT&M. The original Sacred Days of Yule spread can be found here. This Sacred Days of Midsummer spread draws on inspiration from various cultures to help us embrace the sacredness of the season of summer. Together we walk the sacred path of days around the Summer Solstice. This spread is unique in that it is a total of 12 cards, with one card meant to be drawn each day for 12 days. I'll be hosting a group …

Many of you know that I like to create intricate spreads with lots of detail that ideally still hang together in a logical way. Here is a problem-solving spread (at its heart a two-option scenario) that uses elemental temperaments in a novel way to point out the most advantageous solution. It consists of two three-card chains, a "quint" card for each chain, and four "background" cards that influence and modify the quint cards through Elemental Dignity. https://parsifalswheeldivination.com/2019/06/26/the-hot-and-cold-running-commentary-problem-solving-spread/

Had a bewildering dream? Can the Tarot help elucidate? I believe so. Dreams and the Tarot speak the same language: the language of images, metaphor, and senses. Before you begin the spread, as soon as you wake up, write down all the details you remember from the dream. This is an important step. From your short summary, list down words that you want the Tarot to help you with. For example: In my dream I was needing some sugar. I am trying to lose weight but one bag of sugar shouldn't hurt. I was at the grocery paying and the cashier had a knowing smile at me. Her teeth were blue. I reach down for my purse to get money. I fin…

Hi Everybody Not sure if this is the right place to ask but I am looking for an advice on which spread to best use for my question. My issue is, I am about to start a new business venture with a partner. The problem is, that we lately seem to have issues on understanding each other. I am not sure anymore if I should start/continue this business venture or just give up. In a way I want to give it up but then I am not sure if I have to learn something in this relationship. Is there a spread that can bring clarity?

As per the title. I always thought deck interviews were silly ... and never got good results anyway. But i wish to give it another go with Triunfi della Luna deck. I've already used that deck quite a few times sans interview ... and get really inconsistent results ... sometimes it just HITS ... other times no. Usually a deck is 90% hits or 90% misses (and it goes to thrift store). I've never had a deck that was 50/50. Bunch of deck interviews on the internet, of course ... but this is a more discerning group. Your faves?

Many past members on AT will remember this reading/spread. http://www.bellaonline.com/ArticlesP/art26918.asp The original article. Here is the spread by June Kaminski: __________________________________________________ __________ The Sacred Days of Yule Spread is great for helping you to embrace the sacredness of this festive season. This is an advanced spread for any level of reader to use during the Yule time from December 20th to 31st. This spread is unique because it is done over these twelve days. You need to find a quiet private space to progress through this spread, since a card is added and left on the wheel as each day passes. PRIMARY USES To help …

It's my birthday in about a week so I wondered if any of you have any fun spreads I could try out? My Wild Unknown has a suggestion for a year ahead-spread with 13 cards so that's a candidate, but maybe you know of anything else :)

I often see people asking for dream-analysis spreads but never created one specifically for that purpose. Here is a link to one that I adapted from one of my past-life spreads. It uses techniques that some consider controversial: numerical "mirroring" and the "quint" card. https://parsifalswheeldivination.com/2020/06/07/the-morpheus-effect-dream-message-spread/

I've never tackled past-life reading with the tarot (although I've done a little prenatal epoch work with astrology and have conducted some spirit-world exploration with the tarot). This spread is largely deterministic in that it revolves around the discharge of karmic debt, something which New-Age-ism seems to shy away from. It gave me a very interesting self-reading. https://parsifalswheeldivination.com/2019/08/21/mirror-of-the-soul-karmic-message-spread/
