Technical Forum Assistance

I would love to have a way not to see all of the "game" posts in the "Activity" window since I have no interest in tarot games. I tried to follow the instructions Daniel gave previously but couldn't figure it out. I understand we don't have as robust a way to do it as we did on Aeclectic.

Finally, something I actually MEANT to post in Assistance & Suggestions! :P I am wondering how many people use the "Recent Posts" sidebar on the left-hand side of the page to check on the latest posts? I know there is an option to hide the sidebar, but I use mine and usually find it very helpful to quickly look at what's been going on in the forum. However, I notice that the posts linked there as "Recent Posts" are only posts made in the main forum sections, not in the sub-sections. In other words, anything that is posted in one of the nested sub-forums seems to not show up in this side bar. For example, anything posted in one of the Tarot Study Groups (which …

I am trying to feedback Em's 4 pillars reading When I click on Quote, the quoted parts is about five screens wide. Any ideas on a fix? It does it also when I quick reply on any thread, I could type four pages into one long string. I've learned to just enter when I have 15 or 20 words and drop down to the next line. I'm thinking I could copy and paste for feedback? anyway, just wondering what is up with my view Sharyn

I can't delete the quotes of my comments. The site is bugging all the time when i'm writing and going to do one of this actions. Is there a way to fix this?

Hi I changed my email, received a confirmation email, clicked "Confirm this address". I get the message "Your account does not require validation" However I cannot access any pages but the "Awaiting Validation" page. I also tried to sign out and log in again, but same problem. Could you help me solve this problem please? Thank you

I no longer seem to be able to access the mentoring classroom threads. I'm not sure if it's a bug, or a new policy that graduates should cease to learn! I hope it's the former as I keep picking up useful hints. Also the original idea was that eventually graduates might become mentors. I may not be ready for that for a while, but it'll take longer without access to the Classroom threads.

I have my settings set to receive forum notifications when there are new posts in threads I follow. The notifications appear here in the forum, not via email. My most recent threads however don't show notifications even when there's new content in threads. When I go to the thread and try to set up notifications to correct this, I'm told that my settings aren't set up for it. What option shoud i be clicking to get this to work? Hey everyone I'm still new and figuring things out, I was just wondering if it's possible to edit a comment you've made (ex. typo) or a blog posts (or any post) to add or delete info, I can't seem to find a way to do so.

I don't know if that made sense or not..... What I need to know is if there is a way to link an individual post into the first post of a thread and change or add to the appearance of that link to show the poster's name, so they can click on that link and be taken to their post. It's probably a simple matter, but I'm unfamiliar with SMF formatting functions. In the group reading sub forum, for the Sacred Days of Yule reading, I'd like to be able to link the username in the readers list to their reading post.

Hey, I feel a bit silly but is there a way to set it so I can see what time posts are in my time? I see time as 6am now and for me it is 1pm.

Right now, there are a lot of online quizzes being shared in the chatter room and I was wondering if there could be a subsection made for them - maybe in chatter room, or maybe fun & games? I ask because I understand that they are fun for a lot of people here, but I'd love to have them consolidated into an area that I could have silenced for browsing when I'm going through the new posts in the forum. I do like to see the discussions that people have that aren't tarot related, because part of being in a community is the chatting, so I'd rather not silence the whole Chatter Room, you know? Just a suggestion :)

Just a thought. Some days I can get right into the zone, with my third eye buzzing away and my focus is right on. Some days not. Like this morning. So I came here to see if there was a section for it, how to get by this, if anyone has suggestions, and I'm sure people do, but either I'm missing or it doesn't exist on here. Today I started getting popup notifications at the bottom of the page whenever someone posts. It's not the end of the world, of course, but it's annoying to be typing something and have a popup come up over it and tell me about something I don't follow, in a thread I never posted in, that I'm not interested in seeing. I really don't even want popups for the things I do follow, I can find them on my notifications list. I went in my settings to turn it off, but I can't find the option to do that. How do I get rid of these?

Is it just me or is it everyone... I can't view the images in old posts at all especially PostImage ones. An example of what I'm talking about is attached below. Postimage photos so far - not sure if this impacts on other ones at all before the last upgrade or major change. Can it be adjusted to restore old images posted before it was modified. Thanks! DND 🌞

There is a 4th page in my thread about the Metaphorical and someone left a comment, I'd like to read it but the site keeps saying it can't find the page! Hopefully this is a sitewide problem that will be fixed soon!

Ok so I've suspected for a while I was not getting all of my notifications, but I thought maybe I just wasn't getting many responses on the forum. However now I know for a fact I'm missing a lot of them! I just found lie 4 threads that I am following and should be notified of responses to but I had no idea anyone had responded. I doubt there is some way to fix the problem, I mean maybe there is some setting on my computer or something. It seems the question about favorite RWS deck started a while ago really spurned talk about vintage RWS decks. Maybe if an official thread was started somewhere so people can talk vintage decks, making comparisons, adding links and so forth would be a great addition. What say anyone?

Hello, I just saw that there were word limit errors that were resolved.... but I didn't notice that before yesterday, where a message asked me (and still asks me) to write at least 5 words, if not I can't post, which is annoying for a thread like the Respond with a gif game for example. Hello, hello~ So, I’ve read forum rules, but want to be absolutely sure I understand: is it okay to have self-promotional links in my bio and signature? When I first got here, I wrote up my bio and mentioned a couple places where I am also online. But then, I started thinking maybe I am not supposed to do that.
