Technical Forum Assistance

I would have assumed this was down to my browser, but talking to friends here, I now know I am not alone. I have cleared my cache, and I am using a PC. Many emojis are not showing in posts, 😆 and when you go to pick one to use, you get things like this: A mate actually got this, so I am better off than they are. : It doesn't SEEM to be an invision thing as they are working as usual in the other invision forum I'm on. Any suggestions would be welcome... 🙂 (that should have been a smiling face...)

Today I received a message on here from someone who had joined the forum only three hours prior to my viewing the message. It's "reading" spam, as in they've created some app (with a please click here type of message) that with AI will give you a free reading. Aside from the usual suspect type of behavior, how can I alert the admins that this has happened? Do I just delete it? I didn't see a way to forward it.

Hi I changed my email, received a confirmation email, clicked "Confirm this address". I get the message "Your account does not require validation" However I cannot access any pages but the "Awaiting Validation" page. I also tried to sign out and log in again, but same problem. Could you help me solve this problem please? Thank you

Would be be possible to get a Reading Games & Fun forum? I think it would be fine if it included threads for the different types of cards, runes, mixed readings, etc. We could always state in the title of the thread if a specific method is should be be used.

Hi! I’m new here, and glad to be here as I am a tarot nut like all other members here seem to be! The atmosphere seems friendly too! I’ve looked around for a bit, but can’t figure out how to uppload an avatar? There’s the option for No Avatar, or for choosing one from a pre-chosen gallery of cats, dogs, musicians and actors, but I’d like to upload my own. Is that possible? I also wonder, is there a presentation/welcoming thread somewhere, where the new members can/should post and do their greetings, because I couldn’t find one? or is yours a dive right in kind of forum? Hi all, I know this post is not in the right place, but for some reason I can't post on the "Promote Yourself" section of the forum. I am not new to Tarot, Tea, & Me, so I don't know what the issue is. Anyway, I just launched a Kickstarter campaign for my new tarot deck, and would love to share the link. For those of you who sell tarot, have you gotten sales from advertising in the paid only section? I am thinking of paying but all the ads have 0 comments so idk if those people got any querents.

Hi, I have this thread in the astrology section wherein I am offering horary readings. Until a day or two when I last posted a horary reading, I could insert a jpeg file of the chart. But today despite several attempts of even resizing images, none of the image could upload along with my reading. The reply was "Uploading failed. Please contact us for assistance". Any pointers to posting the jpeg of the chart.

Hello! I was wondering if there was a way to change either my user name itself or just a screen name. I had originally set my user name up as purplefairy, but was hoping to have another option to have my screen name be Pixie Hart instead. Is there a way to change my user name and have that be my screen name and/or just add Pixie Hart onto it? If that even makes sense. 😂 Thanks, Pixie

I’m new please excuse me if there is oversight on my part. I’m a beginner and would like to have others analyze my readings by posting the question and spread pulled. I’m trying to determine if I am on the right path with my reading analyzations or if I am just off in left field. Does a forum for this exist?

Hi there, I'm brand new to this forum and was excited to see that you keep a Deck Library database. However, there are hundreds of decks not listed there (including may decks that represent people from diverse backgrounds and cultures). As a trained librarian I'd love to do more to help build this database using your well-established and organized system. At minimum, I would be happy to spend some time doing the data entry and photo-gathering work to get other decks listed. And, I'm also happy to write reviews of some of the decks in my personal collection. Please let me know how I can help with this valuable resource.

@Little Fang Not sure if mods can deal with tech stuff. Just had issues when opening threads like What I am Grateful For or What's On My Mind. Image attached of the error message coming up. Probably just a glitch or maybe maintenance being done. Will see if my cache and cookies are cleaned out as that could be the case as well. DND 🌞

I just wanted to give a big thanks to @Endy(our resident librarian) and @Little Fangfor expanding the Deck Library to include a page that shows what decks have reviews. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you! 😘

It's probably me and I'm just feeling old and blind but is there a way to list your personal collection on here? Does it need to be in a downloadable format like a .pdf?

Hi and thanks in advance for the help. Each time I open the forum, a box appears saying I have new messages and would I like to view. I click OK and nothing happens. When I click messages it shows one message but when I click on it it just goes to my profile page. What am I doing wrong.

If so where can I create it? I'll be using it for lenormand.

I like the deck library feature you have. Are users allowed to add decks to it? And if so, how?

I'm curious about it. Can anyone colaborate, taking good photo of their own decks? Or does it require a specific permission from the moderators and admins? Thank you!

How about a forum for ethics? Doesn’t really seem to fit in any existing? Or did I miss something….. of course I may be the only one interested in the topic 😯 but think a discussion professional vs personal ethics? Ethics vs codified rules in tarot reading etc? Would be useful (especially with so many varied one out there in the ‘web’ now.

Another niggling issue I need help with: How do we set the correct time for where we are? It says 9 am right now but it's actually 3 pm where I am.

I opened several new threads in my Minchiate Study Group the other day. Returning to review them, I noticed that in every single one of them, the paragraph spacing has been reduced to one single block of text. (I edited "II. Il granduca - the grand duchess", btw.) I'm not sure what has caused this, but now I have to go back and recreated by paragraph texting. Is this backup issue? What would cause invisionzone to do this to my writing? I have paragraphs for a reason, invisionzone! Grrr....
