Nice article in the Sunday Observer today about Tarot's recent come back! it's here - https://www.theguardian.com/lifeandstyle/2018/aug/19/new-generation-follows-pack-tarot-makes-comeback There have been several articles this year about how popular the esoteric arts are with the younger generation, sales of tarot and also astrology products are at some of their highest! I definitely think the whole area is having a resurgence! I am not sure tarot ever went away but it does seem popular right now :) There are some nice interviews with people who use tarot and also deck creators in the article, it was pretty well done in my opinion. RWS is selling 3 times as muc…

Has anyone read Bill Heidrick's works on the Tarot? He posted them online for free, and I found them quite informative upon browsing some passages. I haven't read all of them tho, so I can't fully vouch for them.

To all PCS fans who want to know more about her beyond what was explored in the Artwork & Times book included in the Pamela Colman Smith Commemorative Set, US Games is set to publish Pamela Colman Smith: The Untold Story next month. Written by Stuart R. Kaplan with Mary K. Greer, Elizabeth Foley O’Connor and Melinda Boyd Parsons, it is hard-bound, measures 8” x 10.5”, and has a whopping 440 pages with full-color illustrations. As is written in the book's USG site page: I love the RWS, and to say that I'm very curious about this book is an understatement.

Recently Leeza Robertson has published her book: Tarot Reversals for Beginners, Five Approaches to Reading Upside-Down Cards. I was wondering if somebody has this book. Is there something new in it? Do you like it? Would you recommend me this book? Thanks.

I found these collections on Google Plus whilst searching for something else. Not sure how 'legal' it is to post such pictures but I found it fascinating to look at some decks unknown to me till now. https://get.google.com/albumarchive/112868448452435024861 I was looking for Dana Driscoll's email address when these came up in the query answer. Shavini, you might find your 'mystery' tarot here.

Found this gem in the old AT. To those who haven't watched it yet, do try to see the Tarology documentary by Enrique Enriquez. It's very insightful, and it's free to watch in the link I'll provide below. And yup it's legit. It's around movie-length, and I never got bored at all. I hope that you enjoy it too. Here it is: http://www.snagfilms.com/films/title/tarology

Has anybody played The Arcana: A Mystic Romance game before? It looks mighty interesting. The FAQ says that it is "a fantasy/romance visual novel for iOS & Android. You, the player, are an apprentice magician with a gift for fortune-telling. Left in possession of an unusually enchanted Tarot deck, you must navigate intrigue, murder, magic… and perhaps a few saucy encounters."

Does anybody else have these books by Donald Michael Kraig? I know almost nothing about magick - raw newbie here. I thought it might prove very beneficial if I explore how it can be applied to the Tarot. I have only scanned the books but I've never really read them. To those who already work with magick, were these books helpful, and would you recommend them? Or do you have other books which you think are simply better, or more appropriate for beginners?

There are a lot of educational and highly informative Tarot tutorial sites and even documentaries in YouTube. In my forays there however, I noticed that there are channels devoted to monthly Tarot readings for all the different Zodiac signs. Some of them can run a fair bit too and you know that great thought and effort has been expended in producing these. These videos are usually provided by readers who want to advertise their services, I think? So yeah, have you watched any of them? What do you think about them? Did you find them accurate?

Have any of you tried Loteria cards? You can find them in most any Hispanic grocery shop. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B009R4IW5U/ref=dp-kindle-redirect?_encoding=UTF8&btkr=1 I ask because there were a number of us at AT that worked with them for awhile. The decks are usually under a dollar. Anyway, all that said to say, this might be a interesting book to get

I like this article about Princess Mary from Denmark. Unfortunately the cards are not mentioned. Any idea which cards it could have been? Here is the article link: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-5060063/Princess-Mary-tarot-card-reader-predicted-royal-future.html

Mine came a couple of days ago, and I am impressed. Lots of information about Kabbalah and astrology, beautiful production. Has anyone else gotten it yet? What do you think?

I'm new here :). I wanted to know if there are any more Mawang-fans hanging out here? For those of you who don't already know about it, it is a Korean tv series that became really popular in Asia a couple of years ago. It features a psychic woman who can read objects (psychometry) and she is asked to help the police solve some murderers where a tarot card (from Stella's tarot) has been sent to the victims. It is a really well made show and you can watch all episodes with English subtitles for free on YouTube. (Just search for Mawang Lucifer). I have the Stella's tarot and it is one of my absolute favorites, and this show has just made it even better. They talk about taro…

I don't know if any of you are aware of the game site "pogo.com" ... but one of the many games they have are hidden item games based (loosely) on the Sherlock Holmes stories by Doyle. I was playing one based on the story of "The Red-headed League" and noticed that Holmes has a Tarot deck in his study! It appears to be a TdM style deck ...
