The Knight of Coins reversed is symbolic of someone who is out for him or herself regarding money. They do not take kindly to the financial successes of others as it can leave them quite jealous. When this Knight reverses, his horse falls and squashes his coin, so that it's not as shiny or straight as those of his friends. This causes him to be envious. When this card appears reversed, the best course of action is to straighten his coin and reassure him that his money is just as good as everyone else's.

Hey! So I did some research and Emperor reversed in a breakup reading can be some really intense feelings of wanting to get back together, as opposed to the usual controlling vibe of emperor reversed. But what's your take?

I know not everyone reads cards in reverse but I tend to as I feel it adds nuance to my readings. I'm interested, for those that do read reversals, in hearing people's thoughts on the tower in reverse. For the tower itself, I have a tendency to read it less "catastrophically" and more neutral than I know a lot of others do. From my experience and with hindsight I tend to see the tower as a fundamental or foundational change to a situation but not necessarily with a negative or positive impact. Just change. Hi there, I'm looking for some interpretations for the four of coins. I really like the wildwood interpretation of protection, as I don't relate to the fiscal quality of the four of pentacles. I was just wondering if anyone had any additional interpretations of the four of coins/ four of pentacles? Is it that we need to provide protection for ourselves and others? If its upright do you typically interpret that to mean protection for others?

Had the Hanged Man come up in the reversed position during a spread I did this afternoon, and it stumped me. It didn't fit with the other cards, or in the position it was drawn, I just could not work it out. Hi all. X/ I did a reading and as I picked 9 of swords, I got the intuitive thought "friend". Can 9 of swords really symbolize a friend? I thought of my best friend Paul. Can he be in some sort of trouble without me knowing it? Should I text him and ask if he need my help? (we normally don't talk about emotional issues). I'm thinking this silly thought that maybe he needs help with a riddle or an enigma? :think: Or is it so that 9 of swords - that I've learned is a negative card - actually can be a friend? greetings, I'm wondering how you view the Devil when appearing in a RWS style deck draw. In very simplified concepts, some view this solely as "doing something that feels good but is bad for you." Others, "free your mind" and spiritual autonomy. Let loose! you see, I'm making a reference sheet for a friend of condensed, summarized meanings for her introduction to tarot. What "leaning" would you, personally, put down if keeping the Devil to one or two phrases / concepts? Feed my cloven-foot curiosity tarot fam.

I do quite a few love-based or relationship-based readings and recently I've had a couple of readings in which the Six of Cups appears as the card that connects the two parties in the romantic relationship. I've been interpreting this to mean there's strong affection between the two, maybe more of a platonic love, but I don't know if there's something I'm missing. What does everyone else think? Has the Six of Cups ever shown up for you in this context?

Hello everybody, I often find it hard to interpret these two ladies in readings about sex. Both Queens enjoy the sexual side of a relationship, but I can't explain how. The Queen of Wands is very passionate and hot, she doesn't like any restriction in her sexual life, so she does it her own way, though also the Queen of Pentacles enjoys the physical side of love, as her focus is on the body. However, I feel like I can't interpret her properly in this context, I often end up to say the same things as I would say for the other Queen. What do you think? Okay it's only been a day but I'm back lol... Ever since I got my first deck a few years ago I've always gotten stuck with Judgement. Lately it's been popping up for me a lot and it's driving me crazy because there's so many meanings and stories behind it that I have no idea how to look at it, or where to even start when interpreting it. I am still learning how to interpret cards for all sorts of situations, spreads, and inquiries. I find myself drawing a blank on how to apply a card's meaning to how it would represent a person (say the querent or about whom the querent is asking). More specifically in relationship spreads where the position of the card is to be read as "Represents Querent/Other Person" and the card is drawn rather than picking a significator. The card that is drawn is not a court card where the meanings are already more person geared. But rather say 4 of Cups or The Tower. It just occurred to me today, during a reading, that without exception ALL of The Sun cards in the decks I own are either offshoots of the RWS card—the child and the horse in a very close-up perspective—OR they depict The Sun as blinding and obscuring distance vision. Unlike a sunny day in the real world, where you can see for miles in all directions under warm light—which is what I would expect the card to depict—The Sun card seems to restrict us to a very close-up view. If you check out at this card, it seems like they are working on something and they are looking at their wands like with admiration and astonishment and not who is next to them.
