I love the original Trek even more than Tarot so the decks are perfect for me. My one complaint is that the guidebook (they call it a tutorial) does a poor job of directly linking most of the cards to their meanings, even if you know the episodes well, and it does not include the animated series deck.

Thank you SO MUCH for posting this! I had no idea this existed. I just ordered everything (Original Series deck, "Tutorial" book, and Animated Series majors-only deck). The artwork looks absolutely great! I was SO disappointed with the Insight Editions The Next Generation deck that it went straight to my giveaway pile. I wonder if these folks will do a TNG deck? That would be wonderful! (That's more of my fandom than the Original Series, although I AM obsessed with the Gorn.) And I'm just re-watching (or maybe it's watching for the first time?) the Animated Series, so perfect timing! Thanks again! I'm sure it will be a deck of the week for me as soon as it shows up here!

Happy to see another Trekkie here. I barely glanced at the TNG deck when a friend mentioned it to me - the art I'd seen didn't appeal and the reviews were just bad. I passed on Telekiad's reading cloth - I like the center image, but wish the script around the borders had been a Trek language - any Trek language - and some of them are even written vertically. It would be great if Telekiad expanded their series, but I'm not optimistic. Reading about the history of their deck, it took years to produce (I think maybe I heard about it three or so years ago) and was a carefully planned labor of love. I'm not sure how that would translate to the other series (or the movies - I'd love a mini promo deck with a card for Undiscovered Country).

Check it out! I checked it out and instantly caved. Fabulous cat artwork from a fellow Arizonan! - it was inevitable. Artist's name is Jessica Feinberg. I like the idea of the hexagonal spread cards, tho they require quite a bit of space once all has been laid out. And the price was very nice - currently on sale. 😄

The London Lore deck immerses you in the world of books - China Mieville's Kraken or Neil Gaiaman's Neverwhere. The Piedmontese deck, though crude, has something authentic about it.
rylla Posted October 27, 2022 Posted October 27, 2022 I've got the Forhaxa Tarot (from etsy) also the Shaded Tarot by Beth S. I ordered the Shaded from the makeplayingcards.com website. I like Beth's works but was surprised how well the Shaded worked for reading. I find it a really expressive deck. As it is mentioned in this forum, the card stock is great too.

I get Amazon vouchers for doing postal service auditing, sending and receiving letters and packages around the world to monitor how efficient postal services are. So I used my first batch of vouchers to buy myself three books: Mary Greer, Tarot for Yourself and Understanding the Tarot Court Rachel Pollack 78 Degrees of Wisdom. I've already started on 78 Degrees and will work my way through them all over the next few weeks 🙂

The person who gave it to me knows I am into tarot and into Ganesha, so.... It's up on etsy at a terrifying prove, but he bought it from a Thai store (Tevada) for about half that price with free shipping.

I received an email about they were posted in mid-July. They still haven't arrived here in Japan yet. I sent some emails but there are no replies.
pfd Posted November 1, 2022 Posted November 1, 2022 I bought Il Meneghello Tarocco Marsiglia Soizzeo 1804 from an online Fleamarket. It's such a happy deck with a nice feeling. It's not too serious or intense, and seems really joyful (≧∇≦)/

I've literally stalked them with e-mails about the release date for the past month or so. I'm low key jealous ... how did you get this deck from Il Meneghello just now? I ordered it without looking for more pics, or unboxing, etc. I did not get disappointed and the cardstock is very good too. Yahoo!

I’m looking forward to spending more time with them… Yesterday I also received the tracking details for the 2nd edition of the Dream Vision Tarot that I backed on Kickstarter.

Guest Posted November 3, 2022 Posted November 3, 2022 Finally got my Heaven and Earth Tarot deck. I had the kit but the book was atrocious. Needs shovelfuls of editing. Never read or shuffled it, waited a few months, and sold it at a higher price than what I bought it for. Such are the wages of inflation. It also helped that the deck was only available via special order locally. Currently have a deal for a dream OOP Tarot that costs hundreds of dollars in the decks market. I was so frustrated that I missed out on it in the brief window that it was available. I shan't let this one go.

But well, I know I shouldn't covet, because I already have the Meneghello Minchiate Etruria and it is exceptional. Got insta-deck lust when I first beheld the Anima Antiqua Minchiate in a comparative review, but back then I dismissed it as a pipe dream. So yeah I was absolutely floored when I saw it in a local site. Currently employing all my wiles to snag it at a price that won't reduce me to penury and a life of petty crime. 😶

Guest Posted November 4, 2022 Posted November 4, 2022 That's a good idea! Buy another copy of inexpensive limited editions I really like upon release and mark it as a "backup". If it appreciates in value, it would have been a good investment. If it doesn't, it'll just be a backup for real, and since I like the deck, it will be no big deal.
