Suggestion: Treppner Study Group?

Recommended Posts

I remember when the Treppner course first came out for sale, it was in German only. People would buy it on AT and some kind German speaking forum members translated bits of the course. There was hardly any English language resources then. The course had so many PDFs but then they put out a translated into English version!. I think it was done by her son or a family member or someone. One of the PDF's had a really bad mistranslation and it was reported to them and reuploaded in the end 🙂 . Years later it was a free resource, yay!

I'd be down for this too. It would be much more fun doing it with others.

Great looking forward to it @Ziev . I do agree will be much more fun to do it together than studying alone.

It’s nice to see more folks join in. Having helpful folks is always a big boost

Just curious regarding the group exercises.. will we be each having our own threads to post? Or would it be a collective thread for each exercise??

Agreed the bigger the group the better!

Have not really thought about that, what do you prefer? Maybe we can have both? A group thread and personal threads?

I would like to join. How will we work?

You’ll need to have 5 posts before you can join, as per our rules. That goes for all study groups, circles etc 🙂

I will do five posts then 🙂

A common and then also personal threads would be nice and helpful.

Should the personal ones be here or in the "Journals" section of the forum?

I think they should be here - the personal ones. But please feel free to add it to the journal section if you prefer that. I really do not want to have to many rules the Lenormand rules are enough 😁

Not sure yet whether to join or not - but I'd imagine it would work best like reading circles - personal threads for your own exercises, all linked in a single post in this thread, and keep this thread for general discussion and questions that aren't about your own exercises as such ? And also I'd think threads should be here - they are specifically Lenormand and Journals contain all sorts. Anyone studying Lenormand might find the threads helpful, in a way that they wouldn't with journals., so wouldn't look there. (I know Journals is somewhere I never visit !)

I think that's a good idea, we could have it's own sub-section to have all the threads together here in the Lenormand Newbies section or just all do it here. Our own working thread and this main thread discussing it.

One point of caution, this area of the forum is public on the internet and the exchange areas have increased privacy in that you have to log in to the forum to see and have at least 5 posts. We are doing a study project and making our own notes but if we keep the threads in this area, just be aware not to reveal anything too personal in your threads 🙂 . But agree the threads could be useful to others later on with what we have worked on.

Thanks @gregory for the great suggestion!

Thank you @DanielJUK great point. Maybe it is best to have a sub-forum and lock it for the public.
